  1. Derby have a decent away following, I think they would probably bring 3k regardless of kick off time, then probably add on another 1k for the interest of coming to goad us about Eustace. At those prices I think they'll definitely sell out the bottom tier. They'll be coming to goad and spoil the party and it will probably be a 6-pointer.
  2. Just announced it will be £18.75 a ticket, so I can imagine they'll offer Derby the whole Darwen End?
  3. Not many will be sticking around to watch that if we get beaten by Derby.
  4. I'm too young to remember Iley, so while I can see his stats in black and white, I don't have to recall memory of watching it. I went for Ince, his tenure was dire on the pitch and comical at times off it. Was in way over his head, nothing was ever his fault and he just looked permanently confused. Awful. As others have mentioned, Ismael has been as bad, but Ince walked into a well run club so arguably had better infrastructure in place to succeed. Might have to come back and re-vote for Ismael if we're bottom on boxing day.
  5. He doesn't seem to have a clue. Rubbish subs, players out of position. Constantly blaming officials for results. Never his fault. When he got booked tonight several fans around me started shouting "off off off!"
  6. Definitely looked to be around that figure. You can work it out because we know how many seats each end holds and you can tell the stands are about a quarter full. Part of the slow death.
  7. Stinking performance overall, stinking result. We did create some chances today, but creating odd chances at home against midtable fodder isn't something to celebrate. The fact that Alebiosu looks like our best player tells you everything. I thought it was a penalty, obviously haven't seen it back, but if we had got it, it would have been a massive get out of jail because we are awful. Kargbo and Gudjohnsen were so bad it was like we were playing with 9. Unfortunately the non-penalty will dominate the headlines and give Ismael his excuse for another torrid performance. When did we last start a season as badly as this at home?
  8. Well my view from the Blackburn End was that we were pretty poor, Swansea weren't much better, but I think they edged it. Yet again, we are playing as if we are the away team, at home. Surrendering control of the game and hoping to nick something on the break. Not good.
  9. Interesting read, more damning for VI in that he was appointed to a team that was in the playoffs and that he managed to derail it in a quite unbelievable fashion, even by our own standards. That run of defeats to Derby, Stoke and Cardiff when he first came in who I think were 3 of the bottom 4 at time will live long in the memory.
  10. Imagine after when Rudy told us last season that we were in for an exciting summer, he had winked and whispered "I can confirm that by October Adam Forshaw will be crucial to our starting eleven"
  11. But the club are more interested in sacking journalists. I'm a bit indifferent about whether or not Ismael should be sacked at this point, I don't think it makes a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. I feel like we're circling the plughole very slowly. Edit - I assume we wouldn't be able to afford to sack him. Remember though, over 100 applicants and he was the best one, because surely we would only appoint the very best applicant.
  12. I don't think Toth is useless every week, but he did have a stinker today. I slagged him off for the second Charlotn goal in particular, he should have saved it. But others then correctly pointed out that the defending was just as bad before the shot. Tavares stinking the place out so far and the Baradji signing has baffled me. When is he going to be fit? Because we're already playing ourselves into trouble so early in the season, he will basically have to hit the ground running when he is ready for selection. We're already carrying too many passengers in the current squad. Kargbo is so frustrating. Pace of Usain Bolt and the footballing ability of.. Usain Bolt.
  13. 6 points from 6 games so far, might have been 9 from 7 after last saturday, but it is pointing towards a relegation scrap, no question. Tuesday feels like a must-win now.
  14. I don't think there's much point in gloating about that, they're playing one of the best teams in the world and we're playing the 3rd best team in league one last season and getting dicked as well. Sadly, we'll never be on an even footing with them until we're rid of these horrific owners.
  15. Our own heavily biased commentary team have just said 'at times it looks like Charlton have had an extra man, with the way they've been able to work the ball about'. Tells you everything. Will they being getting banned from Ewood Park for stating the obvious?
  16. Just checked and according to Livescore we've had one shot on target after 83 mins. Garbage. There will be the usual numpties who go 'well if we had got that penalty everything would have been different'. The performance hasn't passed the eye test. Against a poor, newly promoted side, we've been second best again.
  17. Oh well. Toth clearly at fault for both goals. I would have f***ing saved that.
  18. I know we're not even ten games into his career at Ewood but he has looked really poor so far. Travis was average in this division but did the basics well and fairly consistently. This lad is struggling with the basics every week.
  19. Hedges off for Gueye, I've no idea what the formation is now, other than a bit disjointed.
  20. Have we had a shot on target yet? Can't remember one. Or certainly can't remember a save from the keeper.
  21. I'd have to see that again as I'm not sure how much his hand was sticking out and it was smacked at him at point blank range. Probably would have been given if it was for the home team... Jones arguably shouldn't be on the pitch to be handballing it, could have been sent off in first half.
  22. The club probably only has budget for one hat these days so he's had to lend it Toth for the second half
  23. Quite incredible that we haven't beaten a newly promoted team away from home for 4 years. It goes back to the thing I always bang on about about how mediocrity is acceptable at this football club and we have no ambition. We have a 'bare minimum' mentality to every single aspect of the football club. Most teams who want to get promoted or get into the playoffs go to a newly promoted team and expect to beat them whereas we're timid and hoping for a 'good away point at a tough place to go'.
