  1. That little statistic crops up each time and it's quite mindboggling. Says something about the culture and mentality of the club, it has gone on too long to be a coincidence.
  2. Getting very frantic down the bottom now as it stands, with Stoke, Cardiff and Luton winning or having won. Stoke play Derby away last game of the season, a bit of a local derby and could be do or die for both. Derby play North End on Tues, if Derby win that they would go only 6 points behind PNE who might start looking over their shoulders... I still personally really hope Derby go down. Even though Eustace ditching us is only a small part of the circus that is this club, I don't want him to be rewarded/vindicated for how he fucked over the players and fans here.
  3. If you get chance, you can catch a brief interview with him on BBC Lancs prior to this fixture where he confirms that he always targeted the international break as where he would start implementing his system and ideas.
  4. Anyone heard VI's Radio Lancs interview for this game? He said that when he took the job he had targeted the international break as the period he would use to change the tactics and get his message across to the players, this was apparently agreed when he took the job, according to him. So I'm curious to know what they worked on in the last fortnight, as it is well and truly on him at this point.
  5. Quality, get that painted on a bedsheet for Boro at home 😂😂😂
  6. I'm guessing he has SK in at #1 but Coyle not far behind him. Sounds awful, but truly I hope I never hear about SK again unless he's in prison or an obituary.
  7. Could end the day with Pompey closer to us than we are to top six. Imagine if you had said that on January 1st 😂
  8. Hope we haven't been negligent in bringing Beck back before he's ready, won't bode well for getting other players from parent club Edit - sorry that was lacking a bit of empathy, I obviously really feel for him as well. He must be beside himself
  9. I don't want to be a dick about it but don't bother worrying about other teams doing us favours at this point. 5 games ago, we had the best run in of anyone and we were in pole position. We've tanked even harder than fans expected and now have a horrendous run in. The watermark for 6th is usually around 70 points meaning six wins needed from eight games. The bookies have us 18/1 to finish in the top six. In reality it's probably even longer than that, but they don't offer mad odds since Leicester.. Put yourself out of your misery and try and somehow enjoy the remaining games, as difficult as it now is. We'll probably pick up just enough points to finish just outside the top six and look like "we had a cracking good go" when really we haven't. At this point I'd rather Bristol City took points off the Clampetts. Them avoiding promotion and halting their Premier League yo-yo is the only thing in the short term that will start to redress the balance between the two teams while we're stuck with the Wankys
  10. 100% they will try and kill any dissent with this sort of stuff. People just need to engage with it online in a reasonable way e.g. "glad to see there are people at the club trying their best to do X, but unfortunately there are problems higher up which need addressing that fans can't ignore"
  11. I'm surprised they're as long as that to be honest, they turned over a much stronger Leeds side there recently!
  12. Great isn't it, that after a season of 'significant investment', we require 6 wins from our last 8 matches to get into the playoffs. Non-starter In reality the only thing we'll have to be remotely interested in after 10 months and 46 matches is whether or not we'll play the Dingles again next season. The playoffs themselves will be quite interesting. B*rnley and Albion have drawn twice, so clearly not much between them, maybe Mowbray can do us a favour. Sunderland and Coventry is a genuine needle/rivalry fixture. I didn't realise this until visiting both grounds in recent years and seeing all the stickers posted around about Jimmy Hill (some proper nasty stuff!) then reading up on it..
  13. I wouldn't take any notice on there I haven't for a very long time. Many of the accounts which appear to be Rovers fans are either Dingles on the wind-up or weirdos who have made several accounts. The discourse as a result is completely unhinged.
  14. I wouldn't worry too much about sympathy for Gestede, he's not much of a fans' favourite. Had a brief decent spell here but then couldn't wait to leave. Then like most who leave here, didn't go on to achieve very much, I don't think many are enamored with him
  15. It's always worth drawing attention to Gestede he shouldn't be getting off scott free. It's not clear what his role is at the club and it's not clear why someone so inexperienced suddenly became a key decision maker (if he is?) at a championship club, without cutting his teeth elsewhere for such a role. It doesn't have to be vitriolic towards him but he does deserve some scrutiny, I'm sure he's being paid handsomely for the privilege.
  16. Unfortunately, I expect us to lose tomorrow to continue Ismael's absolutely honking start. A week today we have a much trickier fixture than any of his others so far, if that starts going pear-shaped I think the majority of ground will turn and we'll be back at the sort of atmosphere we had in 2012 under you know who The manager and players will also end up copping some flak but that's my gut feeling on how next seven days is going to go.. 👎
  17. That's not how I remember that game, I remember it being very cagey at 1-0 and if a couple of close refereeing calls had gone the other way... Etc...
  18. Exactly, they cannot give one single example in 15 years of where they have driven the club forward. (unless you count promotion from the third tier, which was an absolute embarrassment they caused in the first place!!) 15 years of humiliation, zero progress.
  19. Yes, I signed up when I read the statement they put out about Eustace as there seemed to be some impetus but I've heard nothing at all since then. I'd be interested to know why they opted out of working with other fan groups, there might be a good reason, but what is it? Do they have anything to add or another plan of attack for putting these executives and the owners under pressure?
  20. It will be "to mark the occasion all STHs get 10% off a £150 spend on anything* at the Rovers Store" (anything except home or away kits obviously which is what most people buy)
  21. My ST going up in BBE, presuming that is because they finally fixed the steps in the concourse coz they were falling to bits... 😎👌 Value
  22. Why can't they read the room? Large sections of the fanbase are either really fed up or absolutely furious with the way the club is being run. Then they stick these prices up with a jingoistic promo video. A target of 4400 season tickets being sold is absolutely embarrassing for this historic football club, can't believe they've even said that on record, every other club in Lancashire ( + probably everywhere else) will be pissing their sides laughing at us. There are probably several clubs in league 2 shifting more than that. How can Washa and Paggott be openly announcing that. Didn't the club have almost 20k season ticket holders when the the Wankys bought the club? What do Pasha and Waggott have to say about that? Could someone ask them directly what their thoughts are on that at next forum?
  23. Doesn't take a genius to work out that this is their default position and has been for years now. So not sure why he is announcing it as some kind of epiphany -That they know they'll only ever get their money back if we get promotion. They must be hoping that eventually we'll fluke our way up like B*rnley did under Coyle or Blackpool did under Holloway, that the law of averages says at some point we'll get promoted. We know it's nowhere near as simple as that. That clubs like Forest were stuck in this division for 20 years and that other clubs like Bristol City and PNE who are both better run than we have been have been stuck in this division a very long time. As we saw in 2016 and last year, we're more likely to accidentally fall out of this division than fluke a promotion from it under their stewardship 👎
