Big Sam's No tippy tappy football

Now you know why ex players and managers don't speak out. This has happened a few times recently even with some lads who barely got near the first team. -

I think they'll be looking to just send smaller amounts now to supplement the player sales instalments that will be dropping over the next 12 months. Budget of around 20 million already agreed for this season so we are covered till summer but god knows what after that. -

If they intend to continue to remit such large sums of money to England to prop up their overseas 'project' i'm sure the authorities over there will want to keep on knowing where every bit is going. -

O'Riordan back, a loan with a view to buy from some foreign second tier and a 19 year old Prem loanee. Bookmark it. They are very good at creating illusions in the winter windows to make it look like they are doing something. -

The modern academy model and everything that's wrong with it pushing little bodies from early age beyond their natural growing limits. Get into their 20's if they're lucky and everything starts to go pop. -

Baradji won't appear until they've got someone else out the door then they can pay him as he plays. Just wait and see. -
Iv'e thought more than one recently that financial control of Rovers may well have been wrested away from the 4 loons by the VH group finance dept and/or their lenders before it brought the whole lot crashing down. The cost cutting and cashing in ramped up undeniably since another of their finance men was stuck on the Rovers board. If i were them i'd be recommending just what a good idea it would be to grab some money back from a sale of the club and write off the debt alongside future losses.

If we can get some players back it's the perfect game for the counter attacking style.... As usual though the piss weak soft underbelly of not only the team but the club i general will dictate a physical aggressive team finds our weaknesses quickly. WHEN is the club going to build a side with some power and muscle down the spine of the side ???? Because we've never had that since king rat took over and it's a large part of the reason we've spent over a decade going nowhere. -
Venkyโs (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Kilgallon would walk into this defence which kind of says a lot and how we haven't moved on a jot since he was here. -

I always thought Kilgalon was a sound enough defender but legend he ain't and there was definitely a hint of Gestede turning out his mates in that game. For balance though i suppose they wanted a few in from more recent times for the younger audience who can't remember past the last decade. -

Always always worth keeping an eye on what these lot are doing. -
Bottle kiosk is a great idea for both beer and soft drinks and i'm sure there used to be 1 or 2 in the Blackburn End. However everything is franchised out now so unless they do it they'd probably kick off even if the club was capable of sorting it itself. Also they'd have to no doubt source plastic bottled beer these days given all the rules and regs meaning it would be very limited and very expensive. Not defending them in any way but the crowds they've reduced us to now means the kind of demand Saturday brought will be very rare. So as usual it's a shrug of the shoulders.

Give them away free as an incentive in half season or flexi ticket deals it might help sell a few more. They'll probably still be sulking Saturday didn't sell out though. -

So after years of under ordering the first two or three kits they've now vastly over ordered ? Clown city i'm now of the opinion the sole reason this pillock got sent to Ewood from India is because they like him and didn't want to sack him because he's useless at everything else. -

I think it's a club policy from higher up rather than a head coach policy, he'll be brought into line at some point. Probably when they refuse to back him to any tune in Jan and say use the academy lads instead. -

I think it's 100% certain Cantwell will be off in Jan so we'll not see much of him until then. This club is just a platform now it isn't a serious competitive championship outfit, just a vessel. -

Yep throwing money and wages down the drain on collective nobodies just praying that one hits the mark and can be sold on for a few quid. As opposed to actually investing in something with pedigree with that money and giving at least a 50/50 chance of profit whilst delivering the goods as well. Numerous examples of this they've already benefited from in terms of Armstrong and Szmodics whilst Dack and BBD should have seen a big profit and Danny Graham delivered on the pitch for big wages but no fee. There was no need to move away from this model but somebody somewhere has pushed their buttons to do so. -

Well it seems they've had to employ a specialist to teach them because there isn't enough collective brains there already to sort it out. -
Definitely no funds coming anytime soon then, i wonder if the last lot ever made it here.

Agreed although being fair to the fans there must've been 9 or 10k did stay behind which is a recent league crowd in real terms. -

Very solid, very unspectacular, great at the basics and an impressive forward line. Everything you'd expect of a Eustace team with real backing.
