Pears did fine today but he was against a Eustace well oiled machine meaning all he had to do really was pick the ball out the net twice. He'll not have a less pressured game all season the big test is on Friday night in 2 weeks.

When you get in and keep a decent head coach who knows his system and you allow him some investment in the team with the players HE wants then you get what Derby now have. When you penny pinch, downgrade, aim only to try and polish cheap players into ones worth a few million and let self serving amateurs and agents run a club, you get what we now have. Now we have a set piece coach in another desperate attempt to polish turds and he might want to start with coaching us how to defend them. Then maybe show a long throw 'expert' how to find hos own players and remove a guy from corner duty who failed to hit the front post with 90% of his left footed ones and over hit 90% of his right footed ones. Lets be right though if you have a good head coach and staff and a competent recruitment plan you don't need a set piece coach !

And half of that is because they only chose to give Derby 2700.... Now i'm the first to say we shouldn't keep giving 7k tickets in crunch games because in this era it's working against us but they were never selling that many. To be honest from what i remember about it there was less of a fuss around that one than this but the focus back then was all about the football side of things. Also no social media and probably no cheap ticket deal otherwise back then there'd have been thousands more on.

He proved himself a decent enough cover keeper before so lets hope it's the same again. Biggest worry apart from the obvious is his lack of pre season and game time but lets be honest this couldn't have come at a worse time with this game on Sat and high flying nob end looming on the horizon.

Yeah and we ended up relegated during that period then the owners had to do several costly full audits of everything. Oh and they wasted money employing then sacking Owen Cole and some no mark grifter called Senior. If ever there was an advert for a real CEO that was it and we didn't even get one of those so no wonder the club wet nowhere whilst wasting millions upon millions. Only at this club would they still employ someone who messed up his entire pre season due to an alleged vanity project. He should've been sacked.

Just a stark reminder that similar was fluffed around about a Mr Sayed who then actually got his foot through the door at Ewood. Dan Williams existed but was a bit of a faker like Sayed although obviously not wanted by Interplod.

I can absolutely tell you with experience that MAF is a crank and a clueless one. If that is someone posting stuff from the genuine thinking inside that club it's stitched up beyond belief. Absolutely the status quo of the few in there is being protected for their own means.

Great effort and fully deserved win well done to the squad, staff and fans. I wouldn't say we can beat anybody on our day but if someone has a bad one and we turn up we'll find them out whoever they are. Classic Championship stuff.
