To go from a back line of Brittain, Hyam, Batth,..... to what they'll cobble together now is genuinely scary. On their day all the defensive bods we have left are half decent but inconsistent and injury prone. Brittain was the best RWB outside the top clubs, Hyam the most reliable CB injury wise, Batth was usually our best CB game per game and the team was built on reasonable foundations with the help of Trav and Trons. That has been completely torn away and now it's pick and mix time with a soft centre in front of them so anything can happen now and probably will.

That clearly hasn't been implied the discussion is surrounding a halal meat only rumour and why that might be the case. What isn't rumour is that Brockhall has been taken over by a brand new clique and we want to know to what or whose tune are they dancing.

Quite a lot comes out in just throwaway lines in the wider context of interviews. You'll never get anyone saying 'I'm going to lift the lid' on the chaos at Blackburn under Venkys. Rarely happens in the world of football and why would Travis or someone like that do it ? It's not about the fans to 99% of players. they have their differences with people at clubs but once they are out they tend to wash their hands of it. Plus people like Venkys have far more powerful laywers.

Things only come out years later in little bits when players are long retired and chatting on podcasts to other ex players. The unwritten rule in that industry is obviously keep your mouth shut whilst you are still working.

It's obvious a lot of shit started as soon as Gestede appeared out of nowhere but Suhail has employed him and he is doing his dirty work in many ways. You don't get that amount of leeway to do what you want at a football club without the blessing of your bosses. Once the dust settles in the future Gestede will be gone and blame attached to him whilst Suhail continues to hide away and the owners remain silent. These two have now ripped the heart out of the club and team in the space of a few months it's a clear repeat of the early Kean/Anderson stuff just at a lower level. I've not always been his biggest fan but being consistently average with the odd great/bad day is better than being consistently shite. And we've seen plenty of the latter. I think as one or two mentioned when he joined Miller could well be earmarked as a cheap replacement in the centre. We've been conned again this was a plan all along we should see it coming because he is literally the only one left that would fetch north of 2 million. Always on the cards.

If they sell Hyam i'm all but done with this lot.
