  1. The more i think about it the more the theory of massive borrowings in India secured against land and serviced by the clubs income and VH group subsidies the more it makes sense. Needs paying down every now and then as it approaches tipping point hence fire sales/constant budget reduction but it's impossible for them to sell for less than 100 million plus because they'll be liable for the difference in sale price and owing's and it'll suddenly become due if the club is sold....or goes bust. Hence the need for life support and accepting no other investors or due diligence etc. Makes way more sense than some of the other stuff regarding criminal behaviour and tax evasion etc as the 'Bollywood Billionaires' as they were once described would be left extremely red faced if it came to light the 1/200 million they've 'invested' and blown into thin air is actually a gargantuan loan !!!!
  2. We need a win it's as simple as that getting as many home wins as possible will see us safe by May. Is this another Cat A because Norwich might bring more than one thousand ?
  3. It's all about styles of play and he just doesn't fit theirs but he still makes a nuisance of himself but he was never really a poacher. Here due to the defensive nature and hitting on the break he often had acres of space to attack. Now there he's trying to be first to the knockdowns and half chances in the box and he's being outmuscled.
  4. Another conspiracy that turned out to probably not be one so we better enjoy Cantwell whilst he's here because once he's sold/gone there'll be no more 20 grand a week signings of his ilk.
  5. That's odd seeing as TM bailed out there before the Cov fans got chance to lynch him.
  6. Yes it definitely has an agenda that as usual with the people who run Rovers is looking to divide the fanbase again and cover their own backsides. It would be nice if those who chose to agree with everything it says at least acknowledged the rather obvious bias.
  7. Hyam - Wouldn't sign new contract, wants out, refused to play = snake.
  8. I wouldn't go anywhere near Dennis again he's clearly a spent player just hanging around for the money, what he did years ago is irrelevant it's what he's done recently he needs judging on. As for Gueye it's a tricky one as i think a squad needs a player like that in it who can come on and put it about physically but yesterday showed the other side to him. You'd back Leonard over him 9 times out of 10 when put through on goal and although offside he still fluffed a chance he should be burying, tangled his feet up on another then head down straight away and starts moaning. He's definitely replaceable but will they and with what ? We need a good striker not another might do might not winger or midfielder.
  9. New right back thankfully looks up to the task he's very Nyambeish ( you know that guy who was easy to replace for nothing but it actually cost a million quid at least). No fuss win the ball or the man and give it to someone else or get it cleared up the other end. Brittain last season was an elite Championship level performer, made a poor sideways move imo because if he signed again and bide his time a bit something better would've come along. However they know how much this club now lacks any ambition so it's hardly surprising he elected to jump to a club who doesn't first chance, plus probably a decent pay rise.
  10. A psyop being used to flush out both sides before he goes back on frequent holiday jail time. Either way he's naff all to do with Blackburn Rovers FC and he isn't going to remove the regime here.
  11. After all thats gone on selling Hyam now is a complete no no.
  12. Hedges normally plays really well early season so nothing new there great squad man is Ryan. Shouldn't start every week when he's out of form though it's as simple as that.
  13. Crazy nature of the Championship early season today anybody can beat anybody. Great performance but lets be real Toth single handedly prevented us going 3 nil down in a crazy few mins. As i said the other week that lad is twice the keeper Pears is and he'll probably be the next big sale in a year or so. Hull were everything i expected us to be..shite.. but VI got everything spot on today. Hopefully a sign of things to come and not just a rare once a season away performance.
  14. You will do as the season goes on they certainly would've been handy in the last 10 mins v Brum last week.
  15. I think the main driver is still cost cutting and replacing with cheaper wages but you do wonder if there is also another agenda at play. All this talk of a 'new chapter' etc....
  16. Eroding the English core and spirit in the team is not the best idea seeing as it's the English Championship and a lot of it relies on effort, spirit and resilience. Although to be fair take away Travis and one or two others and we've always had a soft under belly anyway. I don't think these new lads will lack anything in the physical dept but it's what's on the inside that matters just as much. Time will tell but we can't afford a flair team so we are going to have to be a tough team.
  17. It was only a matter of time before 'the card' was played it was done last time. Doesn't help when muppets chant the name of someone who has zero connection to the club though. Playing right into the hands of those who have their own agenda they want to push. Chant the players names instead don't give the MSM the chance it's waiting for to find a suitable 'far right' target to smear and don't give those the chance to infiltrate the fanbase and use it as their vehicle. We've more than enough problems already so lets keep it clean.
  18. Gestede is just here for the wheeling and dealing of players imo and that's why he was brought in plus a nice new shield for the other guy who'll throw him under the bus the min he thinks it's necessary. I don't buy the 'shadowing Waggot on work experience' for one minute he's more likely been parachuted straight in from somewhere to help oust Waggot so they can carry out their latest plan unchallenged.
  19. The lass did though, credit to her for that. Sams a football man he seemed more like he felt sorry for Gestede.
  20. I've howled about my suspicions on this blokes involvement for years he is the undeniable constant besides them themselves and hes now helped wreck a side that was knocking on the door of the play offs. He's also managed to go through a manager, 2 head coaches, multiple backroom staff, a DoF and now a CEO in a matter of a few years but they were all the problem, not him. I'm so glad it's all finally coming to light he's the real power broker and BRFC and alongside the actual ownership he is the real problem.
  21. 1000+ going over to Hull another great effort all things considered so lets hope they see a performance.
  22. To be fair Shearer and Sutton have spoken up regularly and had quite strong pops at Venkys in the past.
  23. Think its been well documented the VH group is worth at least a billion although that might be in Indian money terms. Whether the land and all the assets they own is covered by that or separate who knows ? A handy way to make useless swathes of rough land pay though would be secure borrowings against it to run a foreign entity and cream a bit off for yourselves year on year. That theory has been presented on here in the past and it might hold a bit of water when considering they won't sell because they cannot afford to without losing land.
  24. Hoof...... You never know we might be able to start defending set pieces.
  25. They must have a good deal in place with Cantwells agent i cannot believe they've no tried to get him out the door pronto given his alleged wage. Must be some nice kickbacks promised if he gets a good gig somewhere next summer courtesy of his time here.
