  1. This will spectacularly backfire on Rovers they've poked a real hornets nest here and i hope the MSM take them to task. They've ignorantly now shone the spotlight on themselves the bunch of clueless clowns. This is what happens when you over promote nobodies, get rid of experience on all levels and employ an immature entitled fragile ego manchild to run the football dept. These idiots genuinely think they are bigger than the club and given time it'll only end up one way for them eventually.
  2. Jackson is the Weds fan.
  3. I mean we already knew the people running the club are pathetic at the best of times but they've outdone themselves this time.
  4. 100% agree but boycotting the replay makes no sense best thing to do is IF the club are sensible enough to get people in lets support the team to finish the job and stick the finger up to the EFL. Most of whom will expect Ipswich to win after doing them a huge favour.
  5. Who does that impact or help ? Certainly not the EFL and an empty ground only helps Ipswich.
  6. Obviously. If the rules were there there'd have been no need for nearly a weeks pontificating for nothing.
  7. By the financial director placed on the board by the owners.
  8. Saving pounds comes before gathering points in Suhail land.
  9. They will at the very least be ordered to cover costs and try and make a few extra pennies so there'll be some sort of charge. Meanwhile Ipswich will probably subsidise those who want to travel again.
  10. Yes of course and it wouldn't matter would it but if either or both clubs were contesting a top or bottom spot it would matter and it would only be fair a replay was held. The fact there isn't rules means everyone is tying themselves in knots over it and there are all sorts of contradictions flying around. We are angry if it's a replay they are angry if we get the result but if rules were rules we'd all know where we stand and by now a replay date would've been announced. OR we'd be celebrating the win and arguing with Ipswich fans.
  11. When clear rules are in place one side has to swallow it just as we or they will have to anyway once a decision is made. Hard rules cut out the crap and time wasting. We'd either be 3 points and a goal better off now or we'd be gutted and angry but maybe determined to finish the job in the replay. Either way you know where you are.
  12. Probably just waiting for their lawyer reports to see what Rovers could do if the game is ordered a full replay and what the other lot might do if the result is called. It'll all come down to covering themselves and opening the smallest worm can. There should be a hard and fast rule already in place for these situations.
  13. Sometimes there is a need to be radical 🙂
  14. Can you point to an example this is based on, are there any ? It's black and white to them so everyone needs to stop kidding themselves. Result or replay and a show of hands.
  15. Oh but it is because just like my 'crazy' scenario it isn't going to happen, ever.
  16. No more laughable than the pure fantasy on here that the EFL would somehow consider ordering Ipswich on a 500 mile round trek to Blackburn to play 10-15 mins of 10v11.
  17. Most of the suggestions are hypothetical as is mine and the last bit is reality. Don't treat everything on here like we are in a court of law. Which by the way is probably how the EFL will treat it.... result or replay, there'll be two choices only.
  18. But that in itself won't suit Ipswich either they'd not want that over a full replay. Coming 250 miles to play 10/15 mins how do you arrange that ? Sure it would be great for Rovers to trot out on the training ground or Ewood on a Tuesday afternoon but it isn't really desirable from their point of view is it. They'd say they were being punished because of a situation out of their control being dragged half way up the country for 15 mins with ten men. The ONLY credible outcome is result stands anything else is doing them a favour.
  19. I can think of a few heads i'd like to ram up the drain hole.
  20. Ah. Very impressive coach for a team that's spent years in lge 1, full livery and club crest, wonder if it's leased !
  21. The match wasn't completed so normal circumstances don't apply. So i'm looking at it from a damage limitation perspective, yes they moan and so would we but it softens the blow a bit to them and at least gives us something without going through it all again and getting nowt. By the time the replay comes around they might have hit top gear, might even have signed more players so i'd happily just grab a point now and move on and stop all the faffing about. All hypothetical though because the only debate at EFL will be result stands or full replay. Anything else is wishful thinking.
  22. Why was the Charlton Athletic team coach blocking the road near Asda in Chorley about an hour ago ?
  23. So in a couple of replies you've basically offered up Ipswich's very stern case of defence in regards there must be a replay. Also stating the case that non of it should ever be up for debate because the rule should always be a replay. And also
  24. Back to the 'cost v points' issue that just doesn't resonate with this lot, if you can make do with a league 1 budget and get by then that's what you'll get. Classic case of penny wise pound foolish again investing in constant reseeding and stitch pitches to get a great surface but ignoring the foundations of it that will always dictate what happens on the surface. Clown show.
