Well we'll see if/when we do the Rovers thing and lose the replay. A point for no game might not sound as daft then.

Why would you want to lose a replay or go through another fixture crammed in 95+ mins and get....... 1 point. They should never have scrapped the result stands after 75 mins rule that was black and white. The lines are now blurred so it seems any suggestion is viable and if that is the worst i'm Henry the 8th. Too much fuss and faff with everything these days and how do you sort this and make everyone happy ? You can't so minimise it on both sides.

It's the fairest way on both clubs to just see the 10 mins out but they won't order that so we'll all gnash the teeth when a full replay is ordered. I'd grab 1 point and not have to replay it right now if it was offered and i'm sure plenty would but it's to simplistic for the officials.

Yeah most on here would rather just moan when the game is ordered full replay 11 v 11 because their is no middle ground that rewards us for our efforts but doesn't make it as big an advantage as the full win. So come on lets ram in another game from 0-0 and take the bigger risk of getting fuck all.

Yet people are suggesting play ten mins v the ten men, replay the full game but we are 'allowed' to score, play the full game but their sent off man leaves the pitch at the same point etc etc. Come on it sounds like nothing is off the table.

We aren't in primary school that's rather obvious but surely a middle ground suggestion is feasible because whatever the outcome nobody will be happy unless the result stands. One point to Rovers limits the gripes a bit at least.

Not really it's a fair compromise i'd say. No hassle or expense of a replay for either club, Rovers get the win but Ipswich can't squeal about losing 3 points to a panel judgement. Some of the suggestions on here are crazy to be honest.

Call the result but give Rovers 1 point instead of 3. Job done.

Free for ST holders and to offset that half price for the rest incl away fans would be my guess but knowing this lot they'll charge everybody and be rewarded with a 6k gate.

How much arguing will our lot be doing though ? We've no CEO just a jumped up former player and a bloke who'll probably think he can get away will drawing money off another game and crowd.

When people are saying stuff like Burnley were fine, Man U were fine. Even so if you want to mention the other clubs there's a big difference in where they are situated and the size of the rivers next to them. The way the level rises so rapid in the darwen near Ewood being at the foot of a valley is nothing like those other grounds. Bloomfield Road doesn't flood when the tides in either.

Comparing Ewood to other clubs is a bit wide of the mark as i can't think of another right next to a river and draining into it. And as much as they sit and do nothing waiting for the council it is a club issue and up to them to sort or this will keep happening. They'll end up calling games off 'just in case' . As for the what happens now the only sensible thing is the game and result stands but when has football operated sensibly unless it's giving a big 6 club something ?

As iv'e said before the pillock in charge doesn't care about costing points he only cares about anything costing money. Be it players, wages, managers, away trips etc etc he's not bothered, financial squeeze comes first and if you can make do then make do.

We need the adjudicating panel to be fully paid up members of the climate change club then they will accept it was just a freak act of nature and something that could be getting worse because of man made problems. Otherwise they'll just blame Rovers for not fixing a recurring problem and punish accordingly.

We had these same conversations on here last season and since then we've had the driest summer for years and sold millions more worth of players. Nothing was done and we'll be having the same convo's again, it's barely turned autumn never mind mid winter and after the heat and drought nature will be looking to balance things out again as it always does.

In Suhail world it doesn't matter if something costs points as long as it doesn't cost money. A major reason why we will never genuinely progress with him hanging around.
