The prospect of Suhail, Gestede and the Indian finance fella having carte blanche to run this club the next few years under ever increasing constraints is horrific. They understand nothing except basic maths. As for the Derby game it should be fans day again and £10 a ticket with kids a quid but almost certain they'll kill it with ticket prices and it'll get moved for the telly box anyway.

We have been supplemented by still having players brought in on decent wages like Cantwell etc but no doubt that will go out of the window now. Its been rather counter productive when they started this policy seemingly by not paying others the going rate which they'd proven to earn, so we lose them without fees.

Promoted into the first team because they'd grown up together and formed a great youth team. Not thrown in because the first team was so short on numbers and skint. It'll be a different kind of history this club writes.

Also a point worth noting we are quite unique in terms of we have one of the biggest stadiums in the Championship yet one of the smallest towns but surrounded by plenty of places people used to travel from to watch. Now if you can't offer Prem football or even a top class Championship team - despite 200 million and billionaire owners - you have to do something radical to get more in regularly, because they are out there, thousands of them. What do the clowns running the club do ? Everything possible to shrink the fanbase and token gestures just to try and maintain what's left of it. Fans on social media need to consider this instead of just slagging off the attendances for 'likes'.

All depends on how this window finishes and expectations aren't good. Doesn't matter how they are paid if you agree to the asking price i.e 2 million plus in Sammies case and maybe there were add ons or sell on's on top. Meanwhile signing players from foreign leagues on deals 'of up to 1,8 million' is a different scenario. You've committed to 2 or 2.5 million for the likes of Szmodics whatever happens, deals 'of up to' you haven't because they have to hit certain triggers.
