Yes but 4 of that 5 fall firmly in the Attendance FC 'we are massive because we get ....... ' millennial/GenZ way of judging clubs. Nob End have a great history to be fair but are a pale shadow of the mighty Rovers.

Yep i think part of the issue now again is the side is set up to carry Cantwell and it hampers us especially when he is struggling, which he clearly has been. i seem to recall we did ok for a spell when he was out. -

The clappers narrative used to be 'they want to invest but can't because of FFP'. That has been packed away now along with '20 million a season' to be replaced by 'transition' which used to be 'trust the journey/process/project'. End of the day these idiots will wilfully swallow any old guff some preach except the cold hard truth. Which is there'll be another cashing in/rebuilding process in summer so follows another season of 'transition'. This club permanently sits under this running and ownership between transition and stagnation. There has never been a build journey/process nor project because every single attempt at it has been torpedoed. Either on purpose or through some cock up and no amount of flannel now can cover this. As in politics the silent majority is where it's at and when they speak the truth is laid bare. Ewood on matchdays should be enough tell these idiots the game is up.- 5311 replies

Nah they'll spew 20k wage contributions on the likes of Dennis but ask for something that actually makes sense and they run for the hills. -

Yep Kean started it every time he referred to 'book value' instead of talking about points. It continued under Bowyer 'squad value' and nobody did more shoehorning than ToMo 'creating value'. Every gaffer who has dared put points as priority and team building in transfer windows hasn't lasted very long. We are an agents vehicle that was part of the deal from the very beginning and its never gone away. Grow and sell grow and sell, a whol team if necessary. Only difference now is it has become more of a necessity due to owners pulling up their bridge. -

20th in the second tier is in no way a natural level for Blackburn Rovers. Our overall history doesn't back that up despite the docile few who seem to welcome it as normal stuff. But.... and here's the thing 20th in this division is about right given the budget, standard of people running the club and owning it and the level of crowds they've reduced us to. So you have to conclude it's THEIR level they've finally dragged us down to nothing more nothing less. Replace the name Blackburn Rovers with Crewe or Barnsley or Oldham and they'd all probably be happy and say yes this is where we should be. Why don't they all fuck off and buy/run a club like that.- 5311 replies

I actually said to my mate yesterday that when Rovers whip in a rare ball at the other end nobody in our line up would attack it like Cashin did ! Says a lot about modern day fwds but him as well, i think he'd be safer up top and certainly more threat than hairband Eric. -

Last time they sold the two best defenders and ultra reliable goalscorer who combined had kept our heads above water regardless of managers and tactics we ended up relegated. So history is repeating itself even before this dud is factored in. -

He's picking these players and shoehorning them in because his job is give them Championship mins and create value. That trumps EVERYTHING at Blackburn Rovers. -

Sammy certainly looks fed up down there and he's way too good to be bench fodder but the chances of getting him back here are slim to non. No point dreaming. -

Many clubs in this league have owners with less financial clout but do ok. Billionaire owners are the necessity in this division they are cracked up to be, it only makes a difference if money is used correctly by the right people. Less can be more. -

People preferred to kid themselves they've finally spent the Hyam money and were just waiting for the right 'investment' to come available. Yeah well they're about to get another harsh reality check about how these lot operate, as if they didn't already really know. -

They are also both past it and been to the well too many times now plus both would cost way more than these lot would ever pay. -

Lad steps up from academy, no commission for an agent or their pals. Guy signed on loan for a modest wage contribution and maybe a loan fee, agent gets commission. There is no other sense in it other than that by bringing in that guy to play above Pratt. Their is a budget and they are finding ways to spend it and get their %. -

Yep that's the strength of it. He's not even a fire fighter like Eustace or a steady Eddie like TM he had all the cv of a short term unemployed, cheap roll of the dice gaffer. Guys like him are usually short term as his back catalogue suggests but these lot saw fit to give him 3+ years. Which quite honestly stinks to high heaven unless there are some get out clauses for both sides. -

Early days for Cashin and the worst possible start but i get Grant Hanley vibes, brainless but will throw himself in front of stuff in the box. Which is pretty much what Brum fans said. -

It reminds we of Sunday league stuff when the lad who thinks he's David Beckham grabs the ball and takes everything to try and make himself look good but is only really capable of one good delivery in 10. Ridiculous but it's beyond daft anyway that a Championship head coach of his experience and the staff they have already cannot implement some set piece stuff themselves anyway. -

If and it's obviously a huge IF they were to act it won't be until after the window, never is. Could well be back in the bottom 3 by then but in this death by a 1000 cuts realm we are in i can see him getting a win v Watford in front of about 6k. To me i see him and Gestede as a pair and it's no point potting one without the other but that'll be some serious pay off. -

They'll never score 3 easier goals than that. Typical Ismael Rovers performance we made them work hard and ran ourselves into the ground again in some areas but nothing to show for it. Worst team in the league for creativity and why oh why are they wasting money on a set piece coach ? Look no different since he turned up and we don't even play for set pieces it's just another jobs for the boys waste of money and another layer protecting the head coach and those above him. Someone to sack in other words. If they don't go out and sign an actual target man on loan or something we might as well give up., it needs a change of system now.
