Presumably via corporate stuff, sponsorship, commercial sales etc. So what about the football ? Who runs that the novice Sporting Director ? How much has the club actually ever cost them personally ? It's ALL on the company balance sheet underpinned by huge turnover it's probably not made one iota of difference to their own personal wealth. Nor has it ever impacted the VH groups ability to trade or be financed they'd have dropped it like a stone if any of that was an issue. They took it on and have kept it on to play around with because they can afford to and not panic about whether it's successful or not so all this benevolent/generous benefactor stuff is horse piss. They ruined this club not long after they walked through the door and they have hamstrung it ever since.

Wouldn't be shocked to see a Tom Cairney style sale appearing overnight in desperate need of a few million to pay a bill. Brittain would fit that kind of mould, couple of million up top and some add ons.
