The January 2026 Transfer Window

We got shut of Ennis and Telavic and Sam half a leg Gallagher so there is hope in shifting Gueye. Depends on the agents and how much of a hit you might be willing to take. -

Interesting, i wonder how it might apply to initial allocations then if you request more ? In this case the club are being run by administrators and it would be understandable if they said 'look if you want more we have to open up the whole lower tier and we can't afford that for the sake of a couple of hundred tickets out of a possible 1000'. Then again it's probably just the dicks that run Rovers thinking ok we've sold enough for there we wan't people spending on home tickets instead ! -

Not always they weren't unless there's been a rule brought in. -

Last time i looked at the Sheff Weds tickets they had a handful left in the next to end block in the upper tier. I know the online sales often throw up red herrings when it comes to guessing how many sold but if that was correct they'll only have one block left to sell. I'm of the opinion they've suspended sales because they don't want to be made to pay for a full extra allocation of 500/1000 in the lower. Obviously Wednesday would want to sell as many as possible so why they'd insist that i don't know but football clubs are strange things often run by clueless people. And they need money. It's the only reason i can think of to stop sales, initial allocation almost sold. -

Excellent performance and point but my god do we need another proper striker from somewhere. Think we'd have nicked that today if Andre was playing but can't really grumble. The whole defence has earned a drop of the Christmas grog tonight. -
Fair point but perhaps they should've moved them further along towards the tunnel even if that meant relocating a few others. Sit them near who they clearly see as riff raff then decide the price out and hope that section moves is muddled thinking beyond any realm of sense. Because that riff raff whether this prick likes it or not are the life blood of the club. The ones who always show up, many of whom would be at Boro on a Tuesday night in February if we are in the bottom 3. The ONLY ones often in the ground who make any effort to actually back the team or make a connection with players. This guy is a blithering idiot.
-
He also chose to plonk those kids right next to the most reactive and agricultural language section of the ground. Something tells me that's behind his agenda, why not just put the kids back upstairs.

There was more but it seems to have disappeared or i can't find it.

That was the name and the gist of it was they don't like some of the chants ( of the loyal hardcore older fans ) in No1 and it was spreading to No2 and influencing younger fans. They expected the pricing to influence the older demographic to move across to the riverside and be quiet because it's cheaper. Then the younger element would fill up those BBE seats because of the cheaper pricing for them and they'd happy clap the team. There was more but that's the general arrogant tone form a guy who thinks he'll just move people around the stadium on purpose because he feels like it. For me it just reflects the general tone about how they see our support and why they couldn't care less when hardly anyone turns up because it's less hassle for them, they clearly have their excuses ready for any questions from above. As i said though i'm only assuming it was real. i'll try and find it but others on here must've seen it.
-
No this guy is very much still in situ
-
Well he must be so pleased with his results so far after killing the BBE because they don't like some of the chants.
-
There was a text or some sort of dialogue floating around a while back on social media allegedly from the Arsenal supporting Luton guy whose now somehow in charge of some things at Ewood. No idea if it was genuine but it was blood boiling in regards to the stuff he was saying and how they saw the BBE future and why it was now priced as it is. Obviously done on purpose with a devious agenda, did anyone else see it ?

Boro's highest crowd for about 20 years at the time and the opened up the terraced corners in the crumbling stadium. Rovers fans pelted them with missiles and the Boro lot kicked through the steel fence outside afterwards. Madness outside, was only young and don't mind to say we legged it 🙂 -

There's always hope for someone who will graft on the pitch, although i get Jake Garret vibes from De Neve. -

Tavares is the most disappointing one for me i was expecting something from him. Sure there's a player there but he really doesn't look like he fits here. The likes of Kargbo and Gueye are ten a penny types, one can sprint but not much else, the other is athletic and nothing else. They either click or they don't there's never anything in between with those types. De Neve is pants but we've only really seen him trying to be a LWB, which he isn't. THG don't mind him at all as a squad man and similar with Henriksson. Mclaughin and Miller are exactly what i expected them to be, in and out but both will get better hopefully. -

Wouldn't be surprised if it's down to paying for an extra allocation which they won't want to do. So they'll just suspend sales then put the last block up for sale later but of course if you were Sheff Weds you'd not be impressed. Being in admin though they might well be asking for money up front for blocks of tickets. -

I don't think they do or at least not in the sense that is portrayed, it might be on in the background but that's about it. Used to go into the quite plush offices of a busy family owned and run Indian firm in the Wembley area of London. In there they had about 6 tv screens on the wall all blazing away with different things on, mostly business news, general news, stock markets etc. There was one that often had sport on, all this was just a backdrop as they sat at their desks on their phones, PC's and went about their work. I reckon it'll be similar with this lot, just background noise. -

Recruitment at this level with no money and serious competition from so many similar clubs is always tough and always throws up a few duds. It can all be helped though by a Head Coach knowing the parts he needs for his machine and obviously having a good connection with the clubs recruitment dept and directors. Some players who can only do one job can be moulded into a side or squad when blended with others, Trav a great example. If feel we've missed that so often here because the focus has always been first and foremost fit players in who can be developed and increased in value rather than build the best first 11 you possibly can. That amongst other things has seen the last 2 gaffers walk and has now landed us fighting relegation. It's about time finally some lessons were learned and the focus switched. It needn't cost the earth. -

The De Neve experiment has failed they tried to take a cheap left footed punt and make him into a LWB because he had good running stats. Clearly not a defensive clue in his head at this level so maybe try him in his more natural position occasionally, otherwise throw the towel in and get rid. -
Next seasons ST sales and home turnouts will be catastrophic from the word go and there's no way that can be dressed up as anything else other than a boycott. As pointed out a few times when people are left to make their own minds up and aren't playing the martyr for either side just finding their own excuses not to go the proof will be in the pudding. Yes 5 or 6k will always be there but we'll then have dropped from 12k hardcore to half in twelve months and that cannot be ignored by anybody. Unless we get relegated then it'll just be 'shit support' of course.

The only point in digi tickets from their end is saving money from having to physically print and sell them. Beyond that they don't give a toss, same as most businesses. -

Father. Man then notices its looking grubby and has a word, even offering to foot the bill himself. Seems like a normal morally correct family thing to do.
