All the academy lads in for this including those already in the team/squad, fill the entire team apart from Toth who needs his route back to first team football. Could not care less about this competition this season as a good cup run could spell relegation. All this 'treat the cup with respect' is all well and good when you have the tools or are bumbling around well clear of the drop zone. Besides the reward for fielding as strong a side as possible in this will probably be more knocks and fatigue and Boro or Watford away at 12.30 on a Sunday. Perhaps the 'Cup' should start showing a little respect the other way. Let the kids go for it and see how far they get alongside getting valuable experience.

Nobody watching was thinking we have enough about us to stay up at 0-2 yesterday nor when watching the Sheff Weds and Wrexham games. WITHOUT some of the players we have missing we almost sure candidates to drop. It's definitely making a major contribution and it has for years if we are being honest. Mowbrays mid winter death spirals weren't helped because of the lack of quality and depth. Since then the squads have got lighter and lighter (cheaper and cheaper) and quality less and less before we lump fatigue, injuries etc on top. Shocking way to run a club if you want to be the least bit competitive outside the bottom 3rd. However it can't go unmentioned Ismaels dreadful home record and most of the performances overall. Him and his staff just don't seem to have a clue at home when the onus is on us. We should become the first club in history to have 2 separate head coaches, one for home and one for away. Because it's difficult to see how anybody could do any worse at home than him.

They aren't writing 200 million off their balance sheet i don't think there is much more to it than that now. They've set up a group of people to run it just above the admin line and that's it now. They'll try to wash its face as this level as long as possible but there'll be another major downscale once we've dropped again. Certainly in the second league 1 season if we didn't go straight back up but for now they'll make sure the lights stay on and maybe allow a little bit of investment to stay out the bottom 3. The club is doomed to another 15 years of bullshit and probably non league at some point.

Just my opinion but i think hes bottled it and is now in hiding dictating from India or wherever or is just lying low thinking it'll all blow over. I believe they operate that way. Also the possibility he has some family issue or something but yet again there should be some official communication as to why he seemingly isn't here. He's supposed to be running a 40 million turnover business at its busiest time of year after all.

He really does look like a lad they've just plucked from non league but given he's been bunged a 4 year contract i'd assume his wages are non league standard. That's why he's here.

If you look at VI's record it certainly reeks of being fond of payoffs he's like a poundland Mourinho. Also the length of his deal whiffs as well and i wonder who it would be divi'd up between should it get paid out !

This is a massive thing for me to say but get Tony Mowbray on the phone asap. Ismael has tried his best with the crap hes been given but his flaws are obvious now and it's time for something a bit more solid.

He gets the bit of the corporation he runs - allegedly - on the front of the shirts and flashed around the stadium and on tv etc. His mates run the show and no doubt often have to follow his and his sons whims as well as deal with certain agency 'advisers'. Above that sits Mr & Mrs who obviously control the level of budget allowed but otherwise probably take no notice of anything. Third wheel is still confused from 2012 and probably doesn't even know they still own it. So yeah i'd say he IS the main problem and if anyone is benefiting from it it's him and his pals, also if anyone has anything to hide ..it's him and his pals imo.

We had several bids in early but January is hard to do business in and we were knocked back by unrealistic prices or gazumped. We did all we could but it'll be an exiting summer instead. Pickering, Ribero, Toth and Tronstad turned down 12 month extensions because they are greedy and some wanted to go home. Gestede Feb 2026.

They simply don't want people turning up for these games there cannot be any other explanation for the idiotic prices.

I was referring to the negative comments about Pratt and at no point did i mention him being loaned out although that would be beyond stupid at this point.
