If the stuff in the WATR email is correct them i can see why we go nowhere and do nothing with these people in charge. I'm not for one min saying Waggot is the good guy but he is the only one with any genuine football administration experience whilst this Suhail guy is literally winging it. Overruling everything he doesn't like and pushing the things/people he does. It's nothing but a balance sheet to him and i suspect a nice wage and ego trip keeping him away from flogging chicken feed under his bosses gaze back in India. This or should i say he imo has been a major force in the stagnation but he's clearly in panic mode now the rosy picture he sends back to Pune may be well and truly busted.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
Tomphil2 replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes he has Championship experience and knows what this league is about which makes the games hes taken here and the tactics we've seen all the more worrying. In terms of the rest of it he can only be referring to the time at Barnsley because there is little to back it up from Watford or WBA and iv'e yet to see a WBA or Watford fan say anything positive about him. -
It most certainly will not be sat in an account waiting to be used i think its pretty much been covered that that money has already been accounted for. Settling an 8 million loan for starters. Plus there is still a 20% Indian govt tax before we mention guarantees and bonds so they'll only sent what they have to when they have to i'd wager.

I refuse to believe there are people who would look at the likes of Luton, Brentford, Bournemouth, Wrexham and Burnley but completely discount Blackburn Rovers. It simply isn't true no one would buy us the only issue is price and the vice like strangulation of the Venky overlords. Unfortunately that issue is huge.

Suhail Shaikh / Pasha / The Shadow Man
Tomphil2 replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
They spoke like exactly what they are, 3 well paid and perked executives who are just there for a wage as long as the lights are kept on regardless of how the team does. Rabbits in the headlights following the same set script with their hands tied from above, small timers who've assisted in shrinking a big club and now like to pretend its never been anything else. -

It can really only be he's French, he knows Rudy, his record isn't good but isn't a disaster, he keeps getting sacked and is desperate for a job stability so he'll himself fit right into our wage budget. -

Following on from that interview with the 3 stooges i'm still struggling to get my head around why appoint this guy. They went through their tick box exercise and said he hit the standard on all of them and that is extremely worrying and i suspect a bit of a lie. Could understand Eustace he was ideal for where we were, had a cv of saving a struggling club from relegation then having them in the top 6. Could understand JDT even if he was another left field appointment, good brand of continental style football and had just won back to back Swedish top league titles. This guy though is nothing more than a mercenary looking at his record yet they waxed on about him bringing everything we need to the table. Can only assume that a WLD dull style football record and aiming for 12th is what they aspire to as long as they can tell him who to play and keep selling players from under him. This was nearly as bad as Waggots 'best bus in football' snakeoil job. -

Iv'e been calling this Pasha guy out for years it's nice the spotlight is finally on him and he has had no choice to put his head up. You just don't have someone working at a club who hides in the shadows all the time, half don't know he's there and the other half don't actually know or won't say what he actually does. Even various managers have been unable to or stopped short of naming his role. Its been off from the start and now he seems to carry the Chief Operating Officer title then obviously he is (and always has been) the big cheese. So how much of the constant circus down there is really down to him ? I'd say most of it and Waggot has been happy as a Venky stooge taking his money and covering for them or just hiding away himself aside from his corporate lounge hob nobbing. Chain of command now looks like it'll be Suhail - Gestede - Ismael. Buckle up we are going back to the Kean or at very least the Coyle years imo. -

If Rudy is now the defacto DOF it;s not odd that he'd want someone like Ismael if they know each other and feel they can work together. If Pasha is overruling Waggot on it though then it means Gestede is now ruling the roost. -

Lets not forget the mention of power struggles behind the scenes when Park left for a second time and there were obviously issues for Eustace. Now we just happen to end up with an odd choice head coach who is French. -

And the 3rd head coach in a row bemoaning a lack of anything resembling a proper forward line. If the reply from the club is low budget foreign punts and over priced short term known crocks then the 4 th head coach in a row will be saying the same thing. -

Big budget cuts and survival whilst hoping to develop a few to sell. The usual unwritten rule at Ewood whilst the back of a beer mat statement written by Groc will tell us the owners are committed and want a return to the Premier League. -

To be coming into a club in 5th or 6th place and immediately becoming aware of fan unrest says it all really. Another season of enjoyment ruined by the clowns owning and running Rovers then they wonder why fans are saying what is the point. We haven't even fallen away organically this time it's been totally self inflicted. -

I'm presuming the loans out are in order to get these lads mins then they all come back into our first team squad to stake a claim in pre season. I think it's nailed on they'll be looking to integrate them again from summer as opposed to them being shunted out with a view to be let go. -
It's extra money coming in at this time of year assuming there is a few thousand take up the offer.
-
Maybe they can't offer new contracts until some extra money starts coming in hence the rush.
-
Whoever is making the final decision just doesn't really care they'd rather have 10k averages at higher price points and guarantee a certain income figure that keeps them in a job. Nobody expects them to give season tickets away but the missed trick with the 150 years so called celebrations is abysmal. The fleecing of younger fans and dads bringing kids in certain areas is unforgivable.

If you're Gestede and/ Waghail and you plan another big summer of change moving players out and in whilst foisting more young loans and academy players onto the first team you need your own puppet in place. That's what this guy is he'll know exactly what is going to happen that's why he looks like he isn't bothered right now. And for agents it'll be another summer of a feeding frenzy at the Rovers trough commission wise. -

Not sure the owners are imo it's more a case of the select few running the club for them in Blackburn who are on such a good number they won't ask the owners for more investment. Because it makes them look good, keeps them in wages and ego, if you listen to Waggot and some of his past interviews hes been itching for this model for years. -

They haven't been able to commit to any long term contracts for the higher paid players and everything at the club is short term'ism so how the hell have they committed 3.5 years for this fella ? Very odd, pray there is a 6 month summer clause and he decides to walk. -

Don't think hes lost the dressing room it's more a case of hes never had it and whilst most of the players looked like they'd run through brick walls for Eustace i don't think they'd jog across the road for this fella. So the excuse he and the club will use is everything will change in summer when he builds his own team. I doubt in the history of the Championship there's ever been a hierarchy who have blatantly torpedoed a top 6 effort like this lot have. It's more than sheer incompetence imo. -

The only sense that can possibly be applied to his appointment is to assume Gestede stamped his feet for this one.
