  1. The whole thing's geddin on me doo-dahs now - I do wish it'd get sorted one way or another.
  2. Another three weeks yet, up to Brum whether they want to pay someone over the odds for the next 3.5 years just to play reserve footy, or whether they take a reasonable fee. For all their loud-mouthed posturing I think they will take 2.5. Savage has now burned his bridges at Birmingham, I can't see any way back, and taking 2.5 and re-investing that has to make more financial sense than having an asset useless to you rotting away for at least 4 months. What will his transfer value be in May when he's not played in 2005? One thing's for sure, if they do take 2.5 they'll look bleeding stupid, after more about-turns than Tony Blair.
  3. How about Graeme Souness?
  4. Cracking quotes from Bruce in today's Mail: What planet is Bruce on? Has he only just got to grips with what a transfer request is? Fancy the very thought of a player not wanting to be at a club any more - that stinks! It's disgraceful.
  5. Whether or not he plays in the FA Cup, I think he's on borrowed time at Ewood.
  6. OK, OK, it was a good yard! I couldn't be assed to edit it! Surely you could have some sort of sensor beaming across the goaline with something meshed into the fabric on the ball, and then you wouldn't even need videos.
  7. Good bleeding gawd! Are these chaps for real? That looks a good foot over the line.
  8. They're juts looking daft now. There's no way Savage is staying, he'll go eventually, whether to us or elsewhere ...
  9. I take it all back - let's see Rovers go on a long cup run and watch Mrs American gerrem off! Yesh!
  10. Hell hath no fury like a woman with the hump. "Elephant Jan"!
  11. Quotes from David Gold: Looks like he's disappointed then!
  12. He'll go to Everton if they're interested, they have much more dough than us.
  13. Hope we lose against Cardiff, don't need the distraction of a cup run.
  14. Well done that man . Why should he be intimidated in a public place in to giving money ? Maybe he's already donated anonymously from the privacy of his own home . Either way , if he's a taxpayer then he's donated in any case . Charity contributions should always be voluntary. I don't have much time for these chuggers in the street who "just want a few minutes of your time", get knotted! Shame on him for eating at McD's though.
  15. Yep, we're absolutely desperate ... but it's the hardest position to fill, especially on our budget. I don't mind Dickov, he runs all day, but it's clear his finishing isn't the best, I think that's clear to everyone.
  16. That's a similar headline to "Trouble in Middle East"; "Frenchman piddles in street", or "AESF chunters on". You could leave the planet for 6 months, come back and see that and think that nothing's changed!
  17. It's a shame a global fund isn't organised for this sort of thing, and each country can donate equally, weighted for GNP. Or is there such a thing already? And I know you're not having a go at me American, all I've done is point out that at one stage the British people had given more than it's govt (a lot more!) I think that's shameful.
  18. Yes. I was never his biggest fan, and never wanted us to sign him, but I do now. He gives us bite in midfield, and as chris says, he can score goals too now. When did we last score direct from a free-kick? If he's average then I'd like a whole team of average please.
  19. Haven't you done enough religious points-scoring?
  20. Oh! You mean travelling-time!
  21. 1. When has he ever tried to justify moving to Rovers? 2. What is "distance time"? Back to school for AESF!
  22. Bleeding Nora, all you ever do is whinge and moan and criticise. How much would you bid then, Bob Shankley? You're turning into Jim's apprentice.
  23. Eh?! When has he pleaded for a move? There's no direct quotes there.
  24. You are way out of line to start quizzing people on how much they're donating American. It's a private matter for individuals. Governments obviously like to declare how much they're giving because they like to brag and posture, although there's nothing to brag about our govt giving 15 mill! How do you manage to get around with that enormous chip on your shoulder? Must give you terrible backache, maybe this explains your narky(*) behaviour. * I believe the colonial equivalent is "antsi".
  25. At one stage the British public had pledged 10 mill more than its govt.
