David John And The Mood - Bring It To Jerome. Good local band from Preston, very much in the Stones style. -
What you really mean is - “ How much have Venkies let walk out of the door because they were too stubborn to sell ? “ They are our “ added degree of difficulty “ and whilst they are running the club nothing will change football wise. None of it will ever make any sense. Not selling BBD makes about as much sense as signing him in the first place.

There was a difference with the players you mention back then - at least we got a several good seasons out of them before getting massive fees. Now they are whisked away at the first sign of star ability for a knock down price. -

I think Carter is better at centre half than right back. JDT will have to man up and rest Ayala, play Carter and Hyam in the centre, and bring in Brittain at right back. -

If we play more in our opponents half the “ shite “ won’t be as obvious. -

Then he had a very average time at Big Club, and did nothing back at Southampton. So Mowbray felt fit to bet the ranch on him. The weakest big strapping lad I’ve ever seen. -

The issue I have with the way we are playing is that it doesn’t suit the skill set ( or lack of ) of the players. We look like a fish riding a bike at times. -

You don’t rate Travis at all yet you expect some club to pay a decent fee for him ? Surely some mistake there. -

I know good football when I see it and I’m not seeing enough of it at the moment. I’ll give you a clue. - it involves the strikers seeing more of the ball than the centre halves. -

Then they wonder why gates go down. People find other more interesting and less expensive things to do with their Saturday afternoons. Once they’ve got out of the habit you have a real task getting them back. -

Centre halves is where we are strongest at the moment. We’ve got four good players for two places at the moment with another one in Phillips on the horizon. -

Diving and simulation really get me down. So I was really pleased to see this in todays paper. ” Summanen charged after red card incident “ ” The Tottenham midfielder Evaliina Summanen has been charged with deceiving a match official after Manchester United’s Ella Toone had her dismissal for violent conduct overturned. The 24 year old was accused of simulation during the incident that saw Toone sent off. A spokesman said - Evaliina Summanen has been charged with a successful deception of a match official following their WSL match against Manchester United Woman. “ We need this in the mens game right away. I saw the incident - Summanen went down after a slight push in the back and decided to start holding her face when she was on the ground. Toone got a red card as a result !

He was watching it on TV. You get a more realistic view of what’s actually happening out on the pitch if you are there in the flesh. -

I couldn’t watch last nights game, I had a meeting I had to attend. Afterwards I texted my son as usual. His view - “ Good point but grim to watch “.
