I queued up all night outside the ground to get tickets for the City game in the late 1960’s.

Why is it astounding ? It’s just par for the course as far as I can see. -

Indeed, any job that involves “ responsibility without power “ isn’t worth having for long. -

He’ll have his hands full keeping them up but if they were to go down they’d be favourites to come straight back up. -
You’ve lost that loving feeling?

I’d never watch another team although after the appointment of Coyle I walked away from the club until he left. Not because he was an ex Dingle but because he’d failed badly everywhere he’d been apart from Burnley. It was so obvious he was going to fail badly at Rovers. I have the added burden of being a season ticket holder at a struggling, bottom tier, rugby league club. When they both lose, on Saturday and Sunday, it really ruins your weekend. -

All any striker wants is good service. Without that any striker will struggle. At the moment the service to the strikers at Rovers is mediocre at best. We don’t make enough clear cut chances. Our play is too obvious and too easy to play against. We spend most of the game playing in front of teams. -

Neither of them is very good at jumping for contested headers. If they get a header in space they’re ok but so is everybody else. -

They put the ball in front of him so he could attack it. We don’t play that way. -

I look at signings like this - Is he better than what we’ve already got ? Potentially I think he is - but we’ll have to see. -

It’s common sense. You get around the side of the defenders and get them running back towards their own goal it’s really difficult for them to watch the man with the ball and the man they’re marking. Look at the goal Dack scored on Saturday. Morton got outside the defence, turned them around, and Dack just held his run and let the defenders run away from him. Come inside and most of the time the defender can watch the man on the the ball and the man they’re marking. -

Maybe Saka is our new mystery signing Jim. I’d be thrilled for him to play on the “ wrong “ wing. -

All I hope is If he’s left footed - play him on the bloody left getting around teams. Not on the right running inside into trouble. -

Kenny, Hughes and Souey didn’t want to be at Rovers long term either, that’s why they all bailed out. -
