That’s another gift the Chicken Chokers have bestowed on us. Since they turned up we seem to get a player out injured after every game. Sometimes more than one player. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - Sweden coach

No, winning the play off final is what really counts. Anything less and I’d swap to win the other derbies. You get nothing for losing in the play offs. -

Archer yes, Khadra no. There’s a reason Sheff Utd have seen enough. -

The more balls you get into the box the more chances you should create. The more chances you create the more goals you should score. You won’t create many chances knocking it about in your own half. -

Andy Todd had a short fuse. I don’t think that is news to anyone who saw him play. -

Bessie Banks had the answer to that. Or the Moody Blues if you prefer. -

Or Jerry Lee Lewis playing gospel songs just to piss the audience full of bikers off. -
Yeah, it was ruined for me once I found that out a few years ago. I’ve never watched it since then.

Just a bit. I wouldn’t have described Todd as petulant. Not to his face anyway. -

You’d have to be about 80 to remember the last time we lost 1-4 at home to Preston. -

The worry is it doesn’t take long for people to discover that there are other things you can do with your time. Especially on a Saturday afternoon. Things that are more enjoyable and less stressful. -

They’ll be looking for as near a certainty as they can get, Going of his last 12 months BBD would be a big gamble. -

You have a good look at what you’ve got in terms of players strengths and weaknesses. Devise a way of playing that plays to their strengths and minimises their weaknesses. Then you stick with it. Coming in thinking “ I’ve got my favourite system, I’ll get this lot playing it “ is madness. -

No, I think most kids in Germany ended up in the Hitler Youth. You didn’t have much choice in the matter from what I read. Having said that his views on life were way out of line with modern, profressive thinking. -

I wouldn’t have liked to play against him. You’d know you’d be in for a busy afternoon. The thing I like about Dolan is he looks like he wants to be out there and he looks like he enjoys playing pro football. You can’t say that about every player at Ewood Park. -

Tyrone Shoelaces replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Any strategy or long term planning at Ewood is doomed to failure because it will be built on sand. You can’t run a football club with the owners permanently on the other side of the planet with their fingers in their ears. What would happen at the company you work for if the top echelon of management suddenly vanished ? I know what would happen at the places I worked at. Think for yourself. Don’t look at what they say, look at what they do. You’re fast becoming the “ Chemical Ali “ of Ewood Park. -

BBD’s value goes down every week. The way his form is at the moment we’d be lucky to get back what we paid for him. -

Good job I kept quiet then.I would have fired him after he allowed Wigan to walk away with the title. That told me all I needed to know about the strength of his ambition for the club.
