  1. That's two results I wouldn't have predicted.
  2. I thought I'd posted earlier that I'd sack Mowbray and Venus tomorrow morning and give Johnno the job for the next 7 games. If he can't improve things look for a new manager ASAP. Of course I'm talking as though we were being run by sentient people who understand football. As we aren't I may as well save my breath. Anybody know where my earlier post went to ?
  3. Yeah, he was crap. What else do you want to know ?
  4. Who knows ? Did you expect Bolton to win at Reading yesterday ? If I was that smart I'd be typing this from St Tropez instead of Rochdale.
  5. How many of those teams will have the " Nothing to play for " mentality when the games roll around ?
  6. 4 points out of a possible 30 ? We'd do well to get to 20 points at that rate next season !
  7. It's a big step up. How Mowbray though last seasons team would be up to the challenge is beyond me.
  8. I didn't think Leicester were going to win the Prem at almost any point until they actually did it.
  9. What about Mahoney ? Didn't we get paid for him ?
  10. The way we're playing at the moment I wouldn't back us to beat Bolton at home.
  11. Quite right, losing is habit forming. So is only playing for 45 minutes, getting caught cold at the start of the game, conceding at the death.
  12. Who needs John Mc Ginn when you have Ritchie Smallwood ? It's a bit like the old Sherwood v Zidane story.
  13. The plan was to talk less rubbish than Coyle. He was doing OK until recently.
  14. It's just an old saying. Certain buildings get struck by lightening pretty often.
  15. Lightening doesn't strike twice in the same place.
  16. When Warnock was there he got them out of a deeper hole that the one they're in now. We need something from the Stoke game.
  17. How many managers can you name that have pulled their club out of a downward spiral like this ? I can't think of any.
  18. With the possible exception of Lenehan none of our defenders are likely to put a boot in.
  19. If I was running the show he'd be packing his gear on Monday morning along with his pal and I'd be giving Johnno a go while the end of the season. Can he do any worse honestly ?
  20. That's democracy for you !
  21. At any other club he'd be down the road by now.
  22. It could be we're safe now. 3 points against Stoke would do it I think. We could stay up this season with less points than we got relegated with last time we were in this division.
  23. Chaddy wanted Rodwell signing on a long contract a month or two back so he must be staying.
  24. Rotherham got battered today so we're actually further from the drop zone on goal difference than we were at 3-00 today.
