I am told that John Williams does read such threads, but doesn't believe the views of this messageboard to be indicative of the views of Rovers fans in general.
This messageboard represents a good cross section of fans.
From pillars of society, such as myself, to some right rubbin' rags
That's the draw of London, many foreigner players can't see beyond it.
I suspect he's coming not to play football but to be seen in all the 'right' places
In your first post on the subject you didn't say anything about chosing matches when you purchased tickets.
Therefore I assumed you were meaning a book of tickets that could be used for any A+ match, any two A matches and any three B matches (like a book of pleasure beach tickets).
I'm not having a go at you, I just misinterpreted your post.
You just said 1 A+, 2 A's and 3 B's. Like Blackpool pleasure beach. That means you could pick any A+, any two A's and any three B's.
If, as you now say, you choose the paticular matches you wish to attend, then you do not need unreserved seating.
I know how well off I am, that's why I'm still going. How many more seasons I will be able to afford remains to be seen.
It is now out of reach of a lot of potential fans though, which can't be right.
If all home games were priced at a tenner, we'd have the 'Sold Out' signs up every week.
Of course he was wrong.
If he didn't like being dropped then he should have been knocking on the managers door this morning, not spitting his dummy out for the journo's.
I'd rather see us get shut, maybe using him as part of a deal for a decent midfielder.
Trouble is, he very often takes too many. Against Chelski he got caught too many times holding on to the ball too long.
He likes turning full circle with the ball too, I thought I was watching a reborn Stuart Metcalfe
I'm sure once he picks up the pace he'll be fine
This is the same mistake that is made throughout this thread.
OK, £21 is cheap to you, it's fine by me as well but for many of our fans it's expensive.
There's too many people pass comments as though we all had the same disposable income.
Not from the bye line. Both Pederson and Bentley cross the ball from twenty plus yards out. That's OK when we're breaking fast ( ) but not when we are pinning teams back and they have their defence set.
It will take Benni at least a dozen games to pick up the pace of the premier league.
On Chelski, no one will beat them going down the middle, they are far too strong. Our problem was we couldn't get around the back of them. It needs crosses from the goal line and we just didn't have the players out there to achieve that.
You can now watch the Rovers for less than a tenner, with four pints of ale thrown in.
That's what the club has to compete against. They haven't a hope charging £37 for a BBE seat.
If prices rise again next season to make up for this seasons downturn in numbers, even more will choose the
less than a tenner option.
