  1. Much like Markanday now, he's earned the right to play in training so he's seeing more game time. Markanday will feature much more now - he was ghosting past Rotherham players today.
  2. He's not going to publicly lambast the players or his boss. I'm sure he's less than happy with how things are going transfer wise right now - 14 days and 3 games into the window and all we've done is let Hirst go and line up loans for Edun and Brown.
  3. Get somebody better so you can stop playing Gallagher. He's played him through the middle for quite a while now and he's spurned chance after chance. That mis-control today when clean through on goal was criminal.
  4. He'd be on the bench for mine - Liverpool can have him back if they've a problem with it.
  5. I'd honestly rather play Garrett than Morton. He might not be technically as good, but at least he's at least taken a game by the scruff of the neck - I've yet to see Morton put in that kind of performance. Morton has to be dropped for the next match.
  6. So did the BBC - but the quality of journalism has been in the gutter for years, sadly.
  7. Honestly if he's not backed in January he'll probably walk in the summer. He didn't walk away from league titles and Champions League football to play Gallagher and Vale upfront.
  8. By disjointed I think you mean non-existent. We had the bloke that went to Aberdeen, Mowbray and Venus as our recruitment team.
  9. He missed two golden chances today - sadly he's not the player he once was.
  10. Again this is why this is a huge window for Broughton. If he's not convinced the owners to allow him to sell Brereton-Diaz then we're in for a terrible summer.
  11. Sadly most of the league doesn't have a pot to piss in, which is why the parachute payment clubs come down and boss it. Think they've won the league every year since 2017. It's going to require a crafty loan or an absolute gem from a foreign league to solve our problem - over to you Broughton.
  12. LB requires pace. If that #9 is a quick 20 goal a season striker your problems are solved... but we obviously can't afford that.
  13. I was livid at the time - I could have accepted losing a £5m outlay for free, but Venus and Mowbray made him the next manager's problem too 'cos you know he'll be one of the highest earners.
  14. Created the four best chances of the match and didn't put any of them away. A goal scoring #9 that relegates Gallagher to the bench (and Vale to a loan) is our absolute priority.
  15. To be fair I wouldn't have given Mowbray another penny either after seeing him spunk £12m+ on the likes of Gallagher, Brereton, Pickering, Edun, Markanday (who'd barely played yet cost £500k) et al.
  16. I always assumed they held onto us out of spite - because they're that rich that they can afford to bury the heart of a community in England because they once had a snowball thrown at them. Does her son really turn up to every match at Ewood?
  17. He drops back to do their job in attack too - which then leaves us short upfront.
  18. He shouldn't be playing over Wharton at this point - at the bare minimum it should be Buckley and Garrett for the next game. He doesn't contribute anything to the team and gives the ball away far too easily.
  19. Yes - hence why we switched to 3 CBs and a low block for 20 minutes against Cardiff at Ewood - and do so quite often. We clung onto the win against a relegation threatened side because we don't score enough goals.
  20. I describe 'getting hammered' as being played off the park. A sliced shot, a 25 yard 'swing your foot through it' and a GK letting a corner go in direct does not equal hammered to me - but again I appreciate I watch a different game to most.
  21. We have a serious problem with quality - nobody can consistently hit the back of the net. Goals win games and we don't score enough of them. We had 4 golden chances today and missed them all - that's baffling. They didn't craft 1 clear cut chance and scored 4.
  22. It would free up my Saturday afternoons - so maybe I should get on this bandwagon. It's certainly not fun watching a different game to most Rovers fans every week and trying to explain yourself.
  23. Did we get hammered? They won't score those first three goals again all season. We created the 4 best chances of the match and contrived to miss them all.
  24. I'm happy for most of the dressing room to leave if someone else picks up their wages.
