  1. I know an easy way they can save £300k without losing any functions.
  2. Nah, he was bossing games in the Championship whilst being held back by his teammates. He was on a different wavelength to his plodding teammates - you could see him getting frustrated that they weren't making the runs he wanted.
  3. I highly doubt that. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing at Ewood. No way they're competent enough to plan a fire sale 6 months out.
  4. Seems woefully under qualified, so that's perfect.
  5. Maybe I'm just tired, but this is sarcasm, right?
  6. Imagine being that blase about a title win - utterly spoiled fans (and I'm incredibly jealous).
  7. They really need to start banning fans that rush onto the pitch. The City players have had to run to the changing rooms at full time.
  8. Define 'anything'. You could sell Hyam, Brittain, JRC, Tronstad, Dolan, Gallagher etc for money to tide you over. The two current gems (15 year old Irish wonderkid CM not withstanding) are Szmodics and Carter though.
  9. It's £780,000 - my maths is terrible. Still, it's a fair chunk of change.
  10. How can you spend £150m, get your team relegated in embarrassing fashion and get a promotion? What a charmed life he leads.
  11. I've seen him play in a game or two, yes.
  12. It's more the fact that he's on £15k+ a week that's the problem.
  13. Maybe it's to do with bodies at positions of weakness? i.e. we don't have enough CBs coming through and the youth teams have X amount of fixtures to fulfil? Walker disappointed me - he scored for fun in the Academy, but couldn't get a game when he went out on loan.
  14. I've never forgiven Carrick for that.
  15. I know it's early transfer window rumours, but that's crushingly depressing.
  16. I think the knock down biased the scorecards for the remaining rounds - but to be fair Fury lost against Ngannou so he can't really complain.
  17. Terrifying, isn't it? It's going to be another awful summer.
  18. When it's laid out like that it's hilarious that some people are delighted he's been run out of the club.
  19. I'd say "I guess he hasn't set the world alight at Kidderminster", but we've sacked our DoF and Waggott is calling the shots now, so who knows.
  20. They've just snapped up the GK from Rotherham we'd chop our right arm off for. They have a manager on the up - they'll be a force next season.
  21. My parents and I are three regulars that can easily afford the season tickets (early bird special or not), but are simply waiting to see what happens with the transfers before renewing. I don't think we're alone there. Our patience (and loyalty) is at an end I'm afraid. If they simply run it back with Gallagher upfront next season we'll be picking and choosing our games.
  22. Any sensible owners would be looking to sell that asset as it's unclear whether they'll ever be allowed to fund it properly again. The loons in Pune meanwhile think selling everything that's not nailed down while the court case rumbles on is a more sensible course of action. Isn't football fun.
