  1. Their keeper should be off for this time wasting. Should have picked up a yellow card when he cleaned out Nyambe and one for this blatant time wasting. Yes, I'm bitter.
  2. It's been a decade of hammer blows.
  3. Bloody take Elliot off, he's been crap for two months now.
  4. He's not being played in the position that he was such a revelation in - nor does he have a big striker to play off.
  5. This is such a listless performance.
  6. To be fair Elliot didn't return from his Christmas holiday.
  7. Show me a replay of the foul on Brereton, please.
  8. It's tactics. They adjusted to what we were doing and we haven't responded to that.
  9. Here we go again with a massive deflection spooning the ball past our keeper? I'd be frustrated too.
  10. Because there's no chance he's ever taking Armstrong off.
  11. One day we'll get lucky goals like that. One day.
  12. The Coventry broadcast (it must have been a radio broadcast) on iPlayer read out fan tweets / emails. They were SCATHING about Mowbray. No love lost there.
  13. The two CBs he's running out there today I guarantee will have better careers than the four CBs he has unavailable.
  14. Do they get Radio Lancashire out in Pune?
  15. Can't succeed with OUR kids, obviously. Being a nursery for Premier League clubs is fine though for ol'Tone.
  16. I disagree, the defence today is significantly better than anything we've fielded under Mowbray. The problem is that we don't own half of it.
  17. I swear he's DARING the Venky's to sack him. On the back of a woeful performance against PNE he turns up at Barnsley and trots the players out in a system we've not used all year, playing a style of football that's a 180 degree change from what we've tried to implement for three years. He then starts a utility player at RWB who's coming back from a long term injury and doesn't put the RB he's been basically playing as a RWB all season on the bench just incase, y'know, the aforementioned player tires after being asked to roam the entire right flank for 90 minutes. Don't even get me started on Evans being the first change, Dolan being asked to play RWB or Brereton being brought on with 5 minutes to go.
  18. Mowbray didn't even win L1 with the biggest budget. He absolutely doesn't fit that criteria.
  19. It's an absolutely plumb job - half the managers in the Championship would fancy their chances of getting THIS squad up, never mind if they got £14m to spend on three strikers without having to sell anyone. Fantastic training facilities, PL quality ground (might need a bit of a clean) and apparently the most patient owners in the world - if you're happy to fly to Pune a couple of times a year to kiss their feet. Go find the guy doing the most with the least in L1 / L2 and let him loose at Brockhall.
  20. C'mon, they're clearly both bloody good. The problem tonight was that Barnsley brought on 5 subs (to our 0) and completely changed their shape. They just flooded the final third and overran our back line. It took Tony 15 mins of watching that to make a change - one of which was the absolutely useless Evans. Not to mention it appears that Bennett didn't come out of the tunnel after half time - they had acres of space down their left.
  21. Barnsley have made 5 changes, completely altering their style of play. Mowbray is still asleep in the dugout. Please, please, please walk Tony. You're quickly slipping into the Kean / Could territory of hatred.
  22. Only player in our squad that can actually hold the ball up - but do carry on saying he's shit. It's quite amusing.
  23. We had our best 5 minutes when Nyambe was subbed for Elliot. Mostly I think because Preston are a very limited, but well drilled team and their players were clearly looking at each other thinking "well who the fuck is playing where?!" We had Dack / Elliot / Gallagher (he might have been 'playing' RB, but he went on a mazy run into their box!) / Dolan and Armstrong all on the pitch. They re-organised themselves / we brought Harwood-Bellis on quite quickly, but those subs caused mass confusion in the PNE ranks.
  24. That's because Rothwell has been shoved out wide left the last few games - a position he's consistently shown he can't play. He's one of the first names on my team sheet in CM.
