  1. If it works with iFollow (I've not been able to make it work with my dad's iPad): 3 dots setting option in browser on phone (top right). Make sure that the Chrome Cast is on. Click 'Cast entire tab. An option should come up with your TV on it - select that.
  2. Doesn't matter how tall he is, he very rarely wins headers. He's soft.
  3. The problem we've got is that we don't have a plan b. If we can't pass through a side we're stumped. No point hitting all those crosses into the box with Gallagher, Elliot and Armstrong upfront.
  4. As I said, I wouldn't watch it every week. I know to a lot of fans the bottom line is all that matters. That's their prerogative. I'm here to be entertained - if my team sets up like Stoke have then the chances are I'm not going to enjoy watching them play.
  5. Fair play to them if that's how they want to set themselves up to play. It's not entertaining or enjoyable to watch at all.
  6. It's disgusting how Stoke have played. Time wasting at home in the first half. 10 men behind the ball at home. Couldn't pay me to watch this shit every week.
  7. He's better on the ball and Nyambe was basically playing RW for the last half an hour.
  8. Downing, Rothwell, Butterworth. Assuming he's not dropped Elliot into midfield - I've no idea where Butterworth plays.
  9. Bloody time wasting at home. Game's gone.
  10. Absolutely bossing this, just struggling to break them down and missed our clear cut chance.
  11. Because the lad we wanted decided he'd rather sit on WBA's bench.
  12. So Powell has to be subbed, right? You don't lie down for 5 minutes without a serious, serious injury.
  13. We have two injuries and a guy we're treating with kid gloves as we know his ankles are made of glass. Most teams would struggle if three starting CBs were out.
  14. One fullback crossing to the other. Champagne football.
  15. Where's Brereton? I thought that he'd be back for this game?
  16. Anyone including Douglas in the side, playing Armstrong out wide or leaving Brereton out clearly hasn't been watching us play.
  17. Honestly he's not the man to take us up. He's somehow bumbled into assembling a decent squad, but he's still not using them correctly - and we're still shocking at LB. That said, and I hate to say it, but it's almost 'better the devil you know'. The lack of organisational structure at this football club is terrifying. For all his faults, Mowbray has at least got us feeling / operating like a football club again - but it's only skin deep. If he goes the transition of power isn't going to be seamless. The next manager has a hell of a job on his hands.
  18. I think we've lacked energy (and movement) upfront the last few games. The schedule atm is brutal. If you watch the back 4 / midfield 3 they've clearly been frustrated at the lack of options to pass to recently - hence the aimless lumps upfield. Brereton makes this formation tick - he holds up the ball, runs his socks off, beats a man with ease and brings teammates into the game. That said we need a Plan B. Gallagher needs to be the understudy of Armstrong at #9 - neither can play out wide, it's like playing with 10 when they're out there. Mowbray needs to play Chapman and Dolan in place of Brereton until he's back.
  19. The last 20 minutes was our best period of play...
  20. The top two are starting to pull away. Automatic promotion is going to be a pipe dream very soon. We're just not consistent enough. Yes Mowbray has assembled this squad, but he doesn't get the most out of it. I'm sure most managers in the league look at our squad with envy.
  21. Honestly the problem is the lack of rotation. We're playing 3 games every 7 days. Elliot, Armstrong and Gallagher (previously Brereton) were starting upfront every week. They're looking jaded atm. In midfield he prefers Rothwell, Johnson and Holtby. It's taken a massive dip in form to give Holtby a rest. Johnson is clearly knackered atm, but he continues to trot him out there. It's no coincidence we looked much better last night when Johnson was subbed. The solution is not playing Johnson on a Saturday and then midweek - Trybull is perfectly capable of playing that role. Buckley should be Holtby's understudy and Davenport needs significantly more game time. Upfront he needs to weave in Dolan, Chapman, Dack and JRC - no idea how far the last two are from fitness.
  22. And I love it. Anti-football team has got what it deserved. They came to spoil the game and then, bafflingly, changed their game plan and dropped off after going 1-0 up. The fact their manager was screaming for them to play the ball into the corner for a draw when they had a chance to whip in a free kick with their height advantage makes it all the more delicious.
