Fortunately we're at a level where we don't need the next Duff or Dunn. The Academy producing players like Travis, JRC (who were both rejects of bigger academies), Nyambe, Buckley and Wharton, is enough to keep you competitive in this division. They'll also keep you financially viable, if you feel the need to cash in on them.

At this rate he's either not leaving, or he's leaving on Deadline Day. Don't expect the King cash this window - if at all.

I'd argue we've stood still, which is why it's so frustrating. Walton was horrendous last year, Kamiski HAS to be an upgrade. Adarabioyo is a fantastic footballer, but he's not a fantastic defender. His loss won't be felt as keenly as many think. IF Holtby can keep fit and Mowbray allows him to play in that deeper role, he'll be more effective than Downing. Brereton looking somewhat like a footballer post lockdown is a major boost too.

If Eastham is more promising, but younger, I'd send him out on loan.

I'd take 12 months in L2 if that's the only level that's willing to offer him a starting role. He needs a run of 30+ professional games under his belt, then we can revisit him.

Just alternate the colours of the halves - world's your oyster. Red, yellow, orange, green. Knock yourselves out, designers.

Maglorie needs to go out on loan for a year to refine his game - he has all the physical attributes you look for, but he made three or four crucial errors that could have resulted in goals. He's not ready for the first team yet.

Money is tight. We survived a season with the Canadian as our #2. We can survive a season with Fisher in that role. He's not good enough though, that's for certain.

I'd like the players to get minutes into their legs in their correct position.

Mowbray had a good 60 minutes. Then he took off the front 3 and put a 5'6" 18 year old winger upfront. Tactical genius.

I'm always amazed why we don't replicate the famous halves in our away kit. It's marketing 101 - see a halved shirt, know it's Blackburn Rovers.

Fantastic player, at this level, but he'd cost all of our transfer budget (and probably then some).

Rothwell plays CM. Chapman doesn't play. Vale and Butterworth are just breaking through - perhaps they need to go out on loan. I think the bigger question is where do you play Wonderkid Buckley and Dack?
