  1. I take it you haven't seen how our defence is lining up then. Either that or you're just relentlessly mercering regardless.
  2. Hmm, what's the betting that we let Forest stick another silly sell on clause up our arsehole whilst they had our pants down?
  3. Yep, ludicrous. One lad can't get into our first team and looks crap when he does, the other is a regular who contributes well. The usual horseshit. This kind of thing is why I lost interest in England outside of tournaments.
  4. When I say he hasn't adjusted to u23s, I mean reports suggest he isn't playing very well at an inferior level. He isn't ready for this level. Rooney, a generational talent, was.
  5. Doesn't sound like he has fully adjusted to u23 football yet (no shame in that for a 16 year old). One step at a time.
  6. Hasn't stopped him so far. And plenty of evidence to suggest he is, indeed, foolish.
  7. Yup, I pointed out a few weeks ago that he would probably be back round about in time to get in Wharton's way. Think Wharton is probably still a few weeks away though, not heard any updates on him in a while.
  8. I also find it strange he has stayed at Brighton instead of spending the time getting to know his teammates, attending briefings etc. Wonder if we will now start to hear 'it will take some time for him to get used to the club'...
  9. Not liking any of these suggestions of Buckley or Travis at RB at all. We need Travis in midfield. Johnson is not a like for like replacement, he is too slow to effectively break up play. Buckley is trash at RB and useful in midfield. If both first choice CBs are fit, play Carter there. If not and we need Carter central, play Edun there. Yeh he's left footed but he wouldn't be the first left footer to play RB. At least he is a fullback and it causes less problems elsewhere than the alternatives. If Travis does end up RB I spose you could put Edun in CM, but I dunno if he is any good at disrupting the play.
  10. I mean, a little harsh, he's still a bit raw and could improve. I wouldn't ban him from ever playing again. But I'm in absolutely no rush to see him any time soon. Needs to go to League One in Jan and establish himself like Carter did or then I can't see a future for him here.
  11. Yeh, no. And what portion of this mammoth fictional salary do you think we are paying?
  12. It is unbelievable. As in, I don't believe that you know what it is.
  13. Terrible defending. Magloire sauntering, Ayala drawn away when he shouldn't have been. That will be that.
  14. Unfortunately it's right. He best play a lot better.
  15. 'Every chance this will be a triple change' no mate, we have already done one sub...
  16. Poveda getting ready the commentators say...no thanks. Not the game for it after how he played the other day.
  17. 1000 to 1 (Nah I'm kidding, think it was 200 to 1...although the below post also saying 1000 to 1 makes me think I did indeed see that somewhere)
  18. Keeper made himself look very imposing too. Did great with the pressure.
  19. No excuse for not getting off the ground there. No good being quick if you can't jump or out muscle and you're meant to be a centre half. May be a bit lucky with that penalty call. One angle looks like a clear yes, the other looks very soft.
  20. Well that lasted long. Terrible from Magloire.
  21. No, mistake that eventually led to the goal and also a failure to close down the scorer. But yeh I don't think he has been so bad overall that he needs hooking yet. It would help if he hadn't been stupidly wedged into one of the least suitable positions for him on the pitch...again.
  22. Buckley the prime culprit for that goal. Terrible loss of possession, I shouted out what the fuck are you doing!? Then failed to close the scorer. Should have got back level there, why didn't BBD shoot?
