  1. No, goes up to 3 mil, same as Brereton could be, so much then going up to 6/7 mil.
  2. Ha ha you keep saying everyone trusts Mowbray, there’s one or two on here who don’t, no names I don’t want any more bans, warnings, everyone is going on about the fee, no one bangs on about Armstrong but he was 3 mil, probably wants to start every game, but he can’t yet, and we’ve had to play him wide, absolutely destroyed Leeds, Brereton has been bought for the future whether that’s this season or next,
  3. Yeah I get that, so what are you actually saying should happen, have him as sub and come on for Graham playing up top, or play him from the start instead of Graham, or play him and Graham both up front from the start, and then where does Dack play, he’s not strong enough to be central midfield and wasted on wing. Think we know Brereton and Armstrong both want to play out and out striker, but while Graham and Dack are doing the business they will have to bide their time.
  4. Ha ha you won’t convince the usual lot on here Philip, I agree with you 100%, but you can’t put a decent argument with them, because they won’t change, I mentioned on here yesterday, ask the Sunderland fans what they think of Graham, paid 5 mil, scored 1 goal, but for us he’s been great and still is. Its all because of the fee, they think he has to start straight away, but while TM plays Graham up front with Dack behind he will have to bide his time, if he ever decided to go 442 put Brereton side of Graham, but where does Dack play then, going back to Graham he was 22/23 before he started to bang them in, but you’ve got to have patience, does surprise me the amount of folk on here who dont trust the manager, but mention that on here, and all you get is abuse, onward and upward and let’s hope for a win today.
  5. Oh dear you’ve said that word again,C——-y, boss man will be on to you. Listen I know you’ve think Rovers have made a big mistake in signing him, basically it’s because of the size of the fee, Mowbray couldn’t care less if it’s free or 6/7 mil, he obviously rates him and signed him, if that’s what it costs and the owners trust him, so be it. The lad is 19 and T M thinks he needs more time before he starts regularly, at the moment Graham and Dack are the main men up top, the system we play Brereton has to be wide striker or on the bench, I honestly think he will turn out to be a decent player. Think we all rate Graham, but Sunderland paid 5 mil for him, think he scored once in 30 odd games, and he started at Boro at 19 years old went out on loan various clubs , scored 4 goals in 40 games for 5 different clubs, only started scoring freely at Carlisle when he was 22/23. At the end of the day everyone will have their own opinion on him, early days.
  6. He said match days are all that matters, not five a side kick abouts.
  7. How am I taking it out of context when AL says all they do is a bit of five a side in training.
  8. Ok, just a couple, just can’t believe you don’t think training is crucial, so if you don’t do it in training just throw him in the team and hope for the best.
  9. So are you another saying training doesn’t matter?
  10. Ha ha funny you should say that, seen one or two training sessions, let’s put it this way Rovers training is very intense, and I can assure you playing a few five a side kick abouts does not happen, certainly different from the last manager, do you remember Joe Rothwell saying a few weeks back it took him a while to get used to it as he hadn’t experienced that kind of training before.
  11. 5 a side kick abouts, is that what Rovers do in training, ha ha right ok.
  12. Training doesn’t matter,!! training is everything, that’s the basis on picking the side, you haven’t seen enough of him to make any judgement yet.
  13. Ok, think while Graham’s playing as he his, he would have to start, IMO.
  14. So are you saying he should play next to Graham, which we would have to change our system, or are you saying he should replace Graham if subbed.
  15. Yeah do understand that, probably the reason is that he dosnt seem to hold the ball up and play back to goal as well as Graham, whether that improves with training or he has to play a different role, time will tell, just a feeling he will end up a decent player, certainly hope so.
  16. Yeah agree on that, depending on the score, if we need a goal and Graham is subbed, give the lad a go, but you know me, I probably trust Mowbray that he knows what he is doing, and before the usual jump on me, I know he doesn’t get it right every time, but with seeing them training every day you would think he knows better than most.
  17. With respect, Brereton is also very fast and tricky, I know we haven’t seen much of him, mainly I’ve watched the Forest clips and he’s certainly no slouch, if we played 4 4 2 I could understand everybody saying he should play next to Graham, but we don’t, and while Graham’s doing the business he’ll have to bide his time.
  18. So what are saying, drop Graham,? we play 1 up front with Dack behind, if Graham gets injured he’ll get his chance.
  19. You’re right, can’t believe the hysteria on here about the lad, Armstrong thinks he’s an out and out striker but with Rovers playing a fit Graham, we have to play Armstrong/ Brereton as wide strikers, Armstrong destroyed Leeds in the first half playing left of striker, TM system has Graham up top with Dack behind, till that changes they will both have to play wide, not as wingers but wide striker, when Graham’s times come to finish he might get to play in his position, as an out and striker.
  20. Think most of clips I’ve seen of him at Forest was as a wide striker, how you can judge him after a short time is unbelievable, yep think I'll believe Mowbray before you, but we’ve all got an opinion.
  21. Without going over old ground, I just find it amazing that fans like your good self, can question someone who watches him in training every day, of course you could be proved right, but a I would prefer to listen to a decent manager over any fan. Henry when first signed for Arsenal was a left winger, turned out to be a decent striker.
  22. Ha ha 11 O Clocker,going back a bit ?⚽️
  23. Just been informed by K-Hod (Mod) that your above post was complementary,so I apologise for reply, which has been removed, must have misinterpreted it, cost me another official warning, lol.
