  1. Well you have to respect my opinion as I have others, end of the day most,(not all)have Rovers at heart, just show it in different ways, let’s all hope for happy compromise on the red button/season tickets.
  2. Just trying to write something constructive, ha ha no chance with some of you on here, doom and gloom, there you are that’s different from moaning. What would you do next season if you were the man in charge?
  3. Yeah, how is Waggot to blame for kick offs, been like this for a few years, police and safety officer, Darwen end, can’t see a problem moving them and leaving that end for away supporters, surcharging agree, no need for them, and pricing in hindsight with the red button I follow etc, need a new pricing structure, like Sharpe said today on his Q/A they have tried cheap tickets, not worked, think if I was running the show, next season, to try for an 1 year experiment a £200 season ticket, all over the ground, £100 u/16 and on the day match tickets of £20 for HOME supporters, no cat A,B and C and crucially charge AWAY supporters the same as we get charged, £20 for West Brom if in same division and £38/40 for Leeds etc, we obviously differ in views re Waggot, it just seems to me he is trying hard to get harmony with fans and owners, all that above if obviously we have a decent season, finish half way up the table, and try and push on for promotion next season with hopefully a few more watching.
  4. No,not saying not concerned because it will affect crowds, but if clubs decide to go down this route, will have to be cheaper season tickets.
  5. You’re so right there, excuses all the time, blaming the owners, management, players etc, what they really mean is,they want premier league football, nothing new we’ve always had crap gates for leagues below top division, bumped into someone yesterday who had stopped going last year, said have you gone back yet,he said I nearly did,but they went backwards again, not proper fans just glory hunters, not just Rovers, many teams same.
  6. Nothing new for massive teams like United,Liverpool etc they have had their games moved for years, but when impacts on teams like Rovers, with low crowds,it will be a problem, like I say we could have to wait till next season to see if season tickets are cheaper, because I think the EFL are tied in for a few years, but on a personal view I will be at Ewood regardless,go to quite a few away games, only times it will benefit me is something like Swansea away midweek, but can understand guys who go every game home and away will not be happy.
  7. Obviously it will impact on the fans who are couldn’t care less if they watch it live or on tv,won’t impact on the core fans, but some on here who blame season ticket prices are too high will blow £150 on a weekend on the drink, think Waggot and TM just thought we might have had a few more on,after promotion and the transfer business and renewing contracts, unfortunately Sky has slowly been taking over the whole of football from 1992,with dangling the carrot,(more money) and the EFL have took it,if it ends up with cheaper season tickets, could be the answer,we will find out next season.
  8. I’d love that to be true, I don’t come on here much, but there always to be the same people moaning all the time, blaming COE marketing boys/girls,office staff, just feel things are getting a little better with the owners since SW and T M came in,but like you said let’s hope the people want the best for the club?
  9. Obviously everyone would like cheaper tickets, but I don’t think they are overpriced, but if all this new money from sky comes in with red button etc, they could end up cheaper, and btw I’m not confused just pisses me off with 80 % on here always moaning about something re Rovers.
  10. Yep that’s about right, I’ll still be there and don’t do many away games, could end up with cheaper season tickets,to counter it,because there are plenty on here who think season tickets are too dear,I think it’s just about right, probably middle of the road in the division, need to give them away to please some fans.
  11. Goncalves,banned,sent off Weds,only a sub last weekend.
  12. He is right, shook his hand last night and welcomed him to the club,I’m 6ft and he towered above me,6.3 about right and he also seemed a nice guy, good signing.
  13. Spoke to someone after the game, and no not the groundsman uncles brother, but someone who is actually involved in the transfers, and he said the latest is the lad from Forest is pretty certain,Reed from Southampton, still hopeful of signing him as well, asked about Chapman and he said Pulis doesn’t want to sell him, possibly change if they sign someone else,T M asked about him last night up at Boro.
  14. Palmer not injured, family problems back in London, hopefully back on Saturday.
  15. At least 3 signings, possibly 2 before weekend,1 is out of contract premier league player, another,a name that’s already been banded about, and the third is the most complicated transfer, Brereton from Forest, probably early next week, let’s see what happens?
  16. The deal is being negotiated at this very moment, been told probably 70/30 he will end up at Rovers.
  17. Was talking to someone at the game today, can’t say who, but it’s 70/30 that Chapnan is signing for us.
