I would put Rothwell on for Travis, who has been poor. Should be able to afford that with Davenport playing.

My guess is that since Nyambe and Edun were clearly struggling, Ayala was brought on to push those two further up the field. Also we have been crying out for Ayala to handle all those set pieces into our box. MUST improve second half.

I don’t think Tony is anywhere near as bad as most of you make him out to be. However he got it spectacularly wrong tonight and I think even Venkys will be hurt by this. Will he get sacked? Probably not, but his chances of a new contract probably took a real hit after this.
