  1. I went in for a mini kit, working in burnley it’s a necessity you understand "We don't sell mini kits as we're sport world not a Blackburn Rovers club shop" Bring back the old club shop I say.
  2. ....and its packed to the point of turning people away a few weeks back.
  3. Thanks Cletus for the fantastic updates pal.
  4. I have no love of Wigan whatsoever after the New Years Eve fiasco at their place but well done tonight because the arrogance of Arsenal deserves nothing but elimination from the completion. If you play a weakend side throughout the competition you deserve to be eliminated and that’s happened so well done Wigan.
  5. What do you know about football? get back on subject Tris FFS
  6. I Remember a time not to long ago when both stewards and police were praised by away fans for being the best in the country. I wonder whats gone wrong? I'm still confident we'll out support the pie eaters...
  7. I thought it was a great day out, a throw back to how away matches used to be, a bit of an edge to the whole day. Pity they'd snorted the lot whilst i was having a p**s
  8. Having not been to that many away games in recent times can anyone confirm if these incidents are the norm these days: No Beer for away fans Police threatening people for singing in "an aggressive manner" Racist cr@p coming from the nuggets to our left, which also included monkey noises when Reid was fouled in the first half Snatch squads after people for smoking, one lad was dragged from a cubicle in the gents by the stewards and almost caused a mint riot People openly snorting cocaine in the gents Town centre pubs closing their doors after the game on police orders The promise of free pies, then charging half price but incapable of serving a decent sized away following What a strange day but good see us win. Wigan are without doubt a premiership club on the pitch but off it they've got a long way to go.
  9. Have you had a bad day Rev The tickets are all but sold out pal so as you say lets just enjoy the day. When was the last time we took 5000 away for a league game?
  10. Great news about the tickets, should be a cracking day with 5000 blues making the trip.
  11. An absolute disgrace, what the hell has gone wrong with the undersoil heating. Debs has put her extra pair of socks on and thermal Bra FFS. Gutted
  12. A victory today should help shift a few more, if we can't sell 5000 for a game 20 minutes away on a bank holiday we should pack it all in.
  13. Being rather cautious on such a subject in the past, (Celtic and bumley away ), I’m going out on a limb and saying we'll DEFINATLY sell out for this one. Everyone I know is going and I couldn't even say that for either of the games mentioned above, in fact I couldn't even say that for the semi final last season. Get your tickets early of be disappointed chaps.
  14. Everyone is asked on Saturday was going and I expect this to sell out with some people being disappointed.
  15. Savage has done nothing since he moved here from birmingham. You've got to give the manager some credit for dropping the guy as Hughes went out on a limb to sign him. Long hair and energy doesn't win football games, "I want to like you Robbie but you've got a long way to go son to impress me."
  16. Right me and Debs are not going to Wigan away, every paying customer counts
  17. Can't believe the over reaction on here tonight? We were by far the better side over 90 minutes today and played most of the game with 10 men! Terrible decision by the linesman cost us dear today, it was a yellow card at best but mistakes happen, onwards and upwards. Speaking to a few lads today, I was saying for the first time in 3-4 seasons I was going to today’s game actually believing we'd win and that’s not a luxury I’ve had in recent times. Hughes has done a fantastic job in the last 18 months, just back the guy we're on the right track.
  18. PS, GiddyGoat has caused a few fires in his time and he assured the safety officer that we were not causing a fire hazard despite the Carlsberg being rather warm.
