Thanks for the info, I'll look at JD Sports this weekend. I remember using some spray called Scotch Guard on a pair of trainers years ago but there's probably better products now.
Never thought I'd be on a clothes related thread since I still have 30 year old T shirts.
They'll be back in fashion now Norbert!
My lads been rifling through my old clobber looking for bits and pieces of 'Vintage' items, cheeky sod!
He found an old Rovers shirt and whilst he wouldn't wear it, he tells me its going for hundreds of pounds on ebay, I may take a look!

Maybe its just me, but I have a real sense this season, that the club have gone back 12yrs on and off the pitch.
I haven't been to a game since Wharton was sold and JDT walked and I have no intention of attending anytime soon, they can shove the season tickets where the sun doesn't shine to be frank.
In my opinion we made JDT's position untenable, after what can only be described as a superb first season. He came in during the summer, after many managers had turned us down, and seemingly pulled rabbits out of hats week in week out. We hit last summer with a real sense of optimism, the club able to push on, the football excellent at times and then the bombshell that our bent owners are in court and funds are pulled, the taps turned off, coincidence? or just criminality? Either way the club suffers, the fans suffer and its back to 2012 all over again.
Selling Adam Wharton this season was absolutely criminal, they couldn't wait to get the lad out of the door. Here we have a Rovers fan playing for his boyhood club, a future England star, sold from under the managers nose as soon as a bid came in. I don't care about administration, I don't care if we needed the money, they sold at the first opportunity that arose, that is the point here.
Then JDT walks, lied to again by owners who promise so much, yet deliver so little and its back to square one, the best manager in 12yrs and they've bolloxed it up. Then on the back of that we have the players, our wonderful players who put us in the position, telling the fans they need more backing, more people coming through the gates, talk about no bloody accountability of self-awareness!
Needless to say, our season ticket money will be staying in the bank, I doubt I'll go again until these owners leave, but when they do, we have 5 season tickets waiting to be bought, the clock is ticking for these abhorrent owners.

I've never been a fan of Samba, to flat for me, but I did consider a pair of these, but at £200 right now, I've decided against them.
I do wonder where Gary Aspen got the colour scheme from, I'm sure its based on something relevant to Blackburn, maybe the Night Safe Project itself, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I’ve got a Moncler puffer jacket that I treated myself to! The warmest and comfiest jacket I’ve ever owned!
I'll be honest, I bought a Canada Goose jacket probably 10yrs ago now before they did many puffers jackets. Its to hot to wear, even on the coldest days in UK!
Its like new, sat on a hook under the stairs waiting for the next ice age to kick in!

When we ruled the roost eh Gav...sadly seems a long time ago now.Suffered far too many defeats at their Hands.
These things come on cycles SG, thankfully we have had far more cycles than the team of 70's.
Get rid of the owners and we rise again.

Love Adidas spezial and similar trainers, really. The odd Stone Island and CP Company bits, if I’m a bit more flush 😅.
Otherwise, can pick up some lovely Vivienne Westwood bits on Vinted for a bargain, these days!
I used to wear Stone Island and CP back in 90's, I had loads of the stuff, so much so Originals used to ring me when a new item came in!
These days I look like an advert for Next........something I swore I'd never become.......with a Canada Goose and Moncler jacket to show I'm still a bit mad and willing to pay ridiculous prices when the mood takes me.

He also played for Oxford didn’t he? Had some proper battles with us while with them in the mid 80s.
Malcolm Shotton
He looks like he's just come straight from the picket line at Orgreave.

It’s a metaphor. Of course only those interested will have seen it but what happened to fair minded Rovers fans giving the guy some support. He’ll be playing in the last two games so giving him both barrels isn’t going to help. We move on from the Wednesday fiasco.
He was the hero the week before, one of the performances of the season if front of 35,000 baying Yorkshiremen.
He probably kept us up with that display, but deserves pelters for Sunday I’m afraid, comes with the territory.

That Pears performance today was abysmal, no doubt about that. But his outstanding performance at Elland Rd last week will probably be enough to keep us up.
That said, he needs replacing.
Just as a side note, Coventry were down and out a few years ago, no ground, no owners, no money, no future, just sayin………

The owners gave Broughton £1million and he spent it on Wahlstedt.
Do you think it was enough? We have lost the likes of:
Rothwell, Dack, Diaz, Lenihan, Kaminsky, Diaz, Wharton. We gave them away.

You can’t replace quality players with free transfers and loans from Premiership youth teams. If you do, the clubs heading for the lower leagues.
Zero transfer funding from the owners, you can’t replace Kaminsky and Diaz with a handful of magic beans.

The excuses on here are embarrassing, hardly a word for our brilliant owners who have lied to JDT, pulled the plug on funding for years and are running the club into the ground.
Look no further than them to lay the blame.

Gally didn't even turn up today. Wandering around with no effort or idea.
Needed to bring Mcquire on.
Instead we brought Buckley on who shouldn't ever wear the shirt again. Pathetic.
Then we bring on 3 loanees who really give a shit in a dogfight.
Mind you we had already given up by then, the players, the manager, the staff and the fans.
The absolute polar emotions from last week to this.
Venkys Out !
Nobody turned to today, only our downtrodden fans.

PISS OFF YOU VENKY WANKERS
Apologies for the bad language but it’s them and them alone that have reduced us to this.

We’ve had some awful times and performances since the rats took over the club, but all things being equal, this is possibly the worst.

If you sell all your best players and replace them with dross, this is what happens.
Is anyone surprised?

But Venkys are paying the bills Tom, we should be grateful….
