  1. BBC Gossip column today - hopefully Daily Mail was just picking up on old news.... mind you, earlier in the week they reported the interest from Norwich in Bowen. Blackburn assistant manager Mark Bowen is set to be named Norwich's new boss. (Daily Mail) Has anyone read the Mail today - does the story look geunine at all??
  2. Hughes on Uefa draw and Bowen.........
  3. No need at all for those comments at this stage. He is one of our best defenders so you would not drop him. Savage or Brad should be captain. Silly Lucas, shows a lack of respect.
  4. Latest from Norwich press.....
  5. I am a bit reluctant on booking my flights etc until I am fairly sure I have got a ticket - think our allocation for the game will be 2,500.
  6. Just one last thing before I finalise my booking plans.... is there any chance at all we will sell out our ticket allocation for Feyenoord?? By that will I defiantely be able to get tickets for the match!! How does it work for Euro ties?
  7. Cheers guys - are most folk staying in Amsterdam then on the Thrusday? I assume people are just going to drink in the boozers there after the match? Has Rotterdam got much to it. Looking online for deals now and probably going to stay both nights in the Dam....
  8. They don't run all night - was just on the phone to the tour operator and he said it would be risky going back to the Dam after the match as good chance of missing the train so he suggested to stay in Rotterdam for the night. £185 - Thursday morning flight to A'Dam, return Saturday night to London (including flight and train to R'Dam, 4* hotel) - seems a but steep?? Or maybe not...... online prices are £150.
  9. If you are delayed getting out of the ground then the last train back to the Dam could be missed....
  10. are most people looking at staying in Rotterdam after the game?
  11. It is in the Daily Mirror today....
  12. Mark Bowen is set to stay as Blackburn's number two and turn down any approach to take over at his former club Norwich
  13. Couple of fairly high profile jobs available in the Championship at the moment as well - Leeds and West Brom. Not that I am saying that they will go for Bowen (even though West Brom were linked with him) but it reduces the managers Norwich can realistically get.
  14. Norwich City folk hero Iwan Roberts has backed Welsh pal Mark Bowen to fill the vacant Carrow Road managerial hot seat. Roberts lent his weight to the growing clamour for the Blackburn assistant boss and bookies' red hot favourite before revealing he would also jump at the chance to succeed Nigel Worthington. “Mark is a class act,” said the popular Welshman. “Singing his praises might do down my own chances, but wherever Mark Hughes has gone as a manager Mark Bowen has usually been his first signing - that tells you everything. “I played with him towards the end of his Welsh career and then worked under him when he was an assistant to Sparky. The guy is a fantastic coach and with his Norwich connections would bring a great feeling for the club as well.”
  15. Thanks. However, there seems plenty of data updates to choose from! Any suggestions on the better ones to download from that list??
  16. Guys I have not played Foptball Manager 2006 for a while. I have a few days to play it! Where can I download an update which includes last summer signings (Nonda, McCarthy to Blackburn etc). I used to use the dugout but this site appears not to provide this anymore. Thanks
  17. I am quite concerned by this. Couple of papers saying he wants the job as well. He is probabaly under-valued in my view to the success we have had under Hughes.
  18. Atmosphere seemed awesome. Feeling dreadful this morning in work but it was worth it!!
  19. Hughes made the point after the match of praising Ooijer. He added that now Oiijer and Nonda are with Blackburn (i.e. our coaching staff) that they will become stronger and will improve.
  20. What was the Gray chant? Bring on Thursday!
  21. Boro 4 Rovers 1 (I am usually wrong....)
  22. TEDDY Sheringham will be offered the chance to remain a Premiership player by joining Blackburn Rovers. The oldest player to appear in the Premiership will be 41 next April but that has not deterred Rovers boss Mark Hughes from making a move for the former Manchester United striker. Sunday Mirror
  23. Well we are rock bottom again - I don't like it when Hughes says he is going to rotate the squad as I do not think it is that strong. Would like Peter to start instead of MGP. Need Tugay to play in order for us to play, I just wish he was a few years younger! Some teams suffer UEFA cup hangovers whereby they cannot seem to win in the Premiership after a match on the Thursday.... lets hope we are not one of them. BRFC 1 Man City 2
  24. The big man has just scored (90th min).
  25. Gutted - was really looking forward watching it tomorrow. Can someone PM me methods how I can watch the game online. Cheers
