  1. With respect, I think you are misunderstanding the Venkys family dynamics and the cultural protocol. Have you confused Jitendra Desai with Anuradha Desai? Anuradha is the person we have come to refer to as “Madame”, which is how she is referred to by staff. Anuradha Desai (Chair) is the oldest child of Venkys founder, Bandra Rao. By that fact alone, she controls the Venkys empire including BRFCS. Both the husbands of Anuradha and Jitendra are not blood related to Bandra and therefore do not have anything like the same say. Venkatesh (Vice Chair) and Balaji (MD) are the two sons, Balaji the one believed to be the one who pushed for the purchase of Rovers although this has never been publicly confirmed.
  2. Strong defender but more impressive moving forwards with the ball and picking a pass. Played in both a back 4 and 3. I think he suited the 3 more. Good player on loan.
  3. Getting beat is the best thing that can happen to us. We don’t have a big enough squad to compete across numerous competitions. The following all have question marks against their names for me as things stand… 1) Pears 2) Edun 3) Dolan
  4. Agreed, successful academy prospect, good player, good human. Will be disappointed to see him leave. The numbers don’t add up either. It’s suggested theres an option to buy for 2.9M and he’s on 17K a week… over a 4 year contract that’s nearly a 6.5M investment… can’t we just pay Nyambe?
  5. I’ll take a full bag clean and polish please.
  6. Nyambe gets in some superb positions and sitting in the Riverside often when we're attacking the BBE you can see him in acres of space with his hands in the air asking for the ball... the issue is when he does get it, he seems to turn it inside to a safe pass. Pickering is reliable at whipping balls in from that same position, I'm not sure its mentality thats stopping Nyambe from doing the same but more he doesn't actually see the pass like Pickering does. I agree with the earlier posters, for me Nyambe is better defensively than Pickering but Pickering is better offensively. Feels like JRC could be the answer if we're sticking with wing backs because Lenihan is strong enough to cope.
  7. Absolutely it helps the site. In an ideal world you’d enjoy reading an article, use the match centre and use the other features, but as a bare minimum navigating to BRFCS.com then going to the forum via the main page helps.
  8. Thanks Ulrich. And to recap, if I could encourage everyone to use the front page of BRFCS (BRFCS.com) for all their latest rovers news, fixtures, read the fantastic articles, use the incredible match centre (which is quicker and in more detail than BBC sport, for example) and vote for their MOTM after every game that would be superb and very helpful. This ends my TedTalk.
  9. I can but that doesn’t get any more traction on the front page which is where the revenue comes from.
  10. Another grand idea, imagine Burnley go down and we go up. I’d love enough BRFCS money to put a blue and white billboard up in Burnley that reads: Missing Premier League Football? Read all about it on BRFCS.com
  11. Long story short it really helps Google (and in turn people finding us, generating new members) and opens significantly more advertising opportunities. Longer version: At the moment the forum is viable and earns enough money that I know it’ll never go under. But not enough money to do what I want to do. I dream of big things, I’d LOVE to put on a free BRFCS bus to Wembley if we got to the playoff final, for example, but to do that I need to get people using the front page of the website or I’ll never earn enough to do it without risking the website. The forum is maxed out for revenue, I’ve got pop up ads running (although we don’t accept ads for the big funders - betting companies, vaping companies and the sex industry) and some great sponsors in The Terrace and The Rovers Trust. So the only way to get to the next stage is to generate more money from the front page, which is what I’m trying to do by starting a new thread and encouraging people to use the MOTM feature.
  12. OK, let’s try this differently. Like this post if this is a terrible idea and I need to find an alternative.
  13. They’re insane.
  14. I’m not saying “bulked up” - you are. I’m saying he’s got wider and stronger and more confident between the ages of 18 and 22. Like all men do. It’s genetical.
  15. Ah apologies. I thought you where saying that you knew he hadn’t got bigger, rather than thought he hadn’t got bigger. We share the same barber and I’ve bumped into him a few times a year over the past 3/4 years. He’s definitely got wider. But that’s only natural as a boy turns into a man.
  16. 🤷‍♂️ I’m struggling for another fix unfortunately. If it’s really stressing anyone out send me a DM and I’ll explain why I’m doing it and the problem I’m trying to fix, open to any other suggestions!
  17. It’s broke, there’s a long list of reasons why but it’s to the benefit of BRFCS. Or I think this will help, we will see. You can still reply to other comments in the other thread here, just visit that thread, quote the post, copy and the reply box, paste it here and reply.
  18. All Post Match discussion here please. Vote for your MOTM in the BRFCS Matchday Centre Sponsored by @RoversTrusthere under ‘ratings’, you might need to refresh the link a couple of times for it to appear: https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/football/match/717098/blackburn-huddersfield
  19. Would snap your hands off with a 0-0 here. Take the point, a couple of weeks rest, sign some players.
  20. Buckley poor this week, he’s struggling to make the pass. I don’t think the surface helps.
  21. Burke in for 6 months until Hedges signs for free?
  22. They’re up to a grand on Twitter now.
  23. I’m not, so I won’t comment with certainty about whether or not he’s any bigger. I think his upper body looks wider, although I’d speculate he’s just becoming a man rather than actively working on his upper body.
  24. It’s all go in the Champ. WBA get their striker.
