  1. not fit. few weeks away yet
  2. Smallwood had a better game than Reed on Saturday. Pick players on form not on favouritism but you slammed Mowbray but you are doing the same. Maybe you could have played Rothwell instead of Conway, would it improve the result. who knows. Armstrong did fine up front apart from Scoring Nothing wrong with the team cos we played well until the finishing/final ball. Nothing wrong with Brereton coming inside and Bennett providing the width. Bell and Conway should have scored. Armstrong should have put of those chance away. Yes we should have got a point after Bell scored, but like I said last night Rodwell should be showing him down the line on his weaker foot not letting him coming inside and shooting. Yes at Brentford we should have shut up shop at 2 nil and make sure we got the win.
  3. there is surprise cos it doesn't suit your argument but its true tho. You pick players on form. if Dack and Graham are playing poorly they should be took off. Bell has been alot better than Williams. Conway has barely started all season. Rodwell position keep being discuss but didn't Mowbray said when he signed him he would play centre back for us. 9th to 16th No cos I expected a blip. I predict 14th at the start of the season
  4. which you don't buy? wonder why cos it doesn't suit your argument. Do you have any inside knowledge to Graham or Dack fitness before yesterday game? Brereton didn't stay wide but drifting inside and show good moments He has been good but he 33 year old and struggling fitness wise. But not our player of the season for me. spot on. It the same people who want Mowbray gone last season after 11 games but they were wrong and we achieve promotion. But for some people on here that isn't enough and these same people will keep saying until they get their wish. at worst? we should have been up 3 nil before they scored.
  5. "We're a bit bemused how we've lost that game." #Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray thought his side deserved more in their defeat to #Reading. #Rovers #BBCLancsSport #BBCFootball https://t.co/VLIizElNdN
  6. I agree mostly until we couldnt finish or final ball was poor Look at Mowbray's post match comments about Dack and Graham. There is your answer.
  7. like I said @roversfan99 about Graham.
  8. I didn't expect Graham to play. He was shattered on Saturday after 75/80 mins so I never thought he would start. Dack I thought would start but Rich Sharpe was surprise he played on Saturday after the injury he picked up at Brentford. Armstrong, Brereton, Bell and Conway should have all scored.
  9. 1. away from home yes. at Home no. 2. we are inconsistent team at the minute but that why we mid table team and not a top 4 team 3. like who? because you have admitted you wont take Dack or Graham off even if they are playing poorly so isn't that the same criticism as you are accusing Mowbray off? 4. answered that in answer 2 5. Mowbray has build his team around those two but now we need more all round but this cannot be done over night and he can not have the same attitude as you have by not subbing players who aren't playing well even if it Graham or Dack. Plus the only way we will be less reliance on those 2 is by playing other players and given them a chance not just the odd few minutes here Hope this answers your questions
  10. we don't know what Graham and Dack would have done. so lets stop rewriting history and about WHAT ACTUALLY happened on the pitch
  11. to be expected for some members on here. would you ever expect anything else? Some pathetic OTT reactions again Tom, we have 4 clear cut chances before they scored their 1st goal. Bell and Conway chances were chances they score if they shoot across goal we had 15 shots compare to their 12 shots.
  12. sack Mowbray? IMO, no way should he be sack at all. Yet again this messageboard has far too knee jerked reaction after games. I remember last season when some of you said he should be sack and replace by Paul Hurst. The same Paul Hurst who upset everyone he could at Ipswich. and yes some of you need to realise that a mid table finsh this season would equal a good season for us. Some of you above have far too big expectations for some reason this season.
  13. good performance tonight Ben. keep it up
  14. Rovers didn't take their 1st half chances and it was very costly. Armstrong twice, Bell and Conway should all have scored. But all didn't and it proved costly. Second half we created more chances Brereton, Dack and Bell. Bell scored and good on him keep getting in there. Brereton should scored. Brereton was alot better today and he can build on this. His touch and movement was good. if Armstrong plays a better ball to him 1st half he 1 and 1 with Keeper instead it was poor ball but he still manage to pull it back to Armstrong who should scored. Defence not good enough for goals but why do you show Oliveria inside when he is all right footed. Clueless. Thought Dack was far too deep when he came on. Today's defeat wasn't down to poor team selection(as some/most people will say) but failure to take your chances. The game should have been dead and buried by the time they scored 1st goal. after that we still created chances. Yes our defending was poor for the goals. no question of that
  15. Raya Bennett Rodwell Mulgrew Bell Travis Evans Smallwood Conway Brereton Armstrong
  16. Bolton away? This season. 1 nil Win. Dack
  17. I didn't know about the interview so thanks for sharing. Yes Ipswich do need some surgery. I would say about 10 new signings including a complete new defence. I would be building my team around Bishop and Lankester
  18. I think Lambert is a competent man and the right manager to do the rebuilding job there. You don't. Coyle/Mowbray and Hurst/Lambert situations is different IMO. Firstly we didn't have a poor squad but a very poor manager in Coyle. Secondly, Hurst behind the scenes upset the players and other staff at the club. Hurst's attitude towards the players was like he was big shot without having nothing to back it up with. Lambert can point to success in his career and earn the players respect. Hurst cant. Whilst Mowbray can point to his success in his career and the why he talk and treat the players. You made very good points there. I would say Swansea went downhill quickly and after appointing too many managers within in a short space of time. now they appointed Potter and he doing a good job there despite having players sold above him exactly my point. it was never going to work with Hurst. Ipswich owner Marcus Evans seems more involved than Ive previous heard he is.
  19. Isnt Sears out of contract in the summer at Ipswich?
  20. RIP Mr Banks. That save will never been forgotten.
  21. plenty of loans? he bought in 4 loans. Graham who signed permanently in the summer, Gomez who did very well, Grimes who was poor and Tony Watt who was signed a loan with a view to permanent deal in that summer. Plus we signed 3 permanent signings in Bennett, Ward and Jackson. Hardly plenty of loan is it?
  22. It turns out the same over the same game period. You cant just keep changing managers every 6 months. Look at Stoke as example of going nowhere of note despite spending over 50 millions pounds on new players. Or you appoint someone who you trust and believe him and allow that to make the changes needed in short, medium and long term to the club. Similar to what Norwich did with Farke. But you have always answered your point earlier in your post. The squad isn't good and that will only improve in the summer. Hurst spent the money in the summer on poor quality and signed to many lower league players. Ipswich fans are happy with him for various reasons but you haven't even look in to. why? cos you aren't interested in fans views of their own fans. You are only interested in fans views when they were unhappy with McCarthy. very much double standards. Like I have said I think going down might help Ipswich as they can clear of deadwood out then rebuild a new squad. Like we did
  23. thanks for sharing Swanson. it appears we now have scouts overseas
  24. Ipswich squad isn't good enough and that started poor summer recruitment and Hurst wasted 5 millions on league 1/2 players. He can only sign players he can due to budget and players wanting to come. Maybe they could have got better players but overpaid wages and transfer fees wise but I guess they didn't want to. You don't care for Ipswich fans opinions because you cant stand them cos they back Lambert. Move on from the Mick McCarthy love in. you are obsess with him. Lambert needs to build his own squad and you will see next season. I think Ipswich going down might be a good thing and they can clear the deadwood and start again with a new improving younger team. similar to us. Hurst's dismissal was down to more than results. But things going on at training ground, behind the scenes. @DE. has posted these at the time. No-one has improved Stoke and now onto their 3rd manager in 12 months since sacking Hughes and gone. Yes they 3rd manager. Stoke players weren't good enough and still aren't. He had the same point per game over the same games period. But their squad isn't good enough and this started in the summer under Hurst. Lambert changed formation on Sunday and played Judge in the 10 role. I guess Lambert was restricted by the signings he could make in January due to league position Their general play is better than before, but defensive mistakes keep happening even from their most experience players. Judge played the 10 role on Sunday. I would say that Jackson and Harrison aren't Championship standard and I don't see Lambert wanting to keep them next season. Quaner is a target man and Lambert like to play with that type of player. Ipswich don't appear to have a natural right back at the club so I can understand the Bree signing
