If you look at yesterday game around 60 mins in we kept the ball in possession under pressure from Forest and passing it well to until the final cross when no-one was there. Last season we would have played it in behind. Look at our goal yesterday where we pass it through the defence and we get our goal. Yes abit of luck in then but we deserve it. Not sure Holtby can play in deeper role next to Travis. Thought Holtby look good in the 10 role but that's where Dack plays. Yes I noticed his record at Scunthorpe isn't good at the minute. Ipswich made a wrong move in appoint him. They should have gone for someone like Simon Grayson, Gary Bowyer, Chris Coleman. Hurst's recruitment there was very poor. Not very many there now.

You can say whatever you want about those stats but they are the stats of the game. I think our passing is goodish but could be better I agree we have been in dominated the ball, winning the ball quickly and aggressively. I agree on results have been ok but performances have been good imo Football is a squad game now. Very rarely do you see the same 11 on the pitch for vaired like form, tactical reasons, injuries and suspension. Most managers made 1 or 2 changes each game

Think Hurst was a mistake from Day 1 at Ipswich cos of his attitude and manner towards the squad. If Ipswich do get promote they need to recruitment smartly and better than before that's a fair point.

The pace of Lolley's shot beat Walton plus I think he was unsighted for split second by Lenihan. I think we are much better side by our short passing. Armstrong and Downing best 2 players last night for me

Good performance by the players and was positive reaction following Saturday poor performance. Passing was quickly and better than Saturday, but final ball let us down 1st half but 2nd half we improved on that. Plenty of positives for me tonight. Armstrong was very good on either wing today. Thought the midfield partnership of Travis and Downing worked really well and outplayed the Notts Forest midfield players. Gallagher wasted out wide today. Rothwell influence the game when he came on and Holtby and Samuel made impact when they came on for Graham and Dack. On Rovers goal, Dack played a lovely pass to Armstrong who reacted well to his blocked cross and finish. On Forest goal. Rovers should know better not to allow Lolley to shoot from there, He has been deadly from there for last 2 years. We kept Grabban quiet all night so that's a positive cos I felt he would cause us to big problems tonight but didnt Disappointed not to win the game tonight but a good point against an quality Forest team. Would have taken a point before the 2 back to back home games cos I expected 3 points against Luton. So disappointed with just 1 point from these 2 home games.
