John Eustace - our head coach
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
John Eustace has brought in his own staff in Keith Downing and Matt Gardiner. He has made Karl Hodges the permanent replacement for Ben Rosen We have massively improved defensively overall since Eustace came in. More clean sheets, less goals conceded, less set pieces conceded,. -
I think GB should remain in place and tbh and let him and Eustace bringing in some quality signings this summer is Gestede officially working for Rovers? what is his role now at Rovers? Waggott said it was the owners decision to move to DoF/Head coach model GB said that it was Ben Rosen who did the scouting work on Szmodics Well it is down to Silvester to do all the paperwork since he is the club secretary and that's is his role within football. Has he official gone?

Very surprised by Hull decision to sack Rosenior now. He will have offers this summer I would imagine

But he isn't in his peak years. I do think we need another keeper signing but I don't think Pears is has bad people make it out to be -
Next season’s line up

Also next season we must improve our results against bottom of the league clubs (bottom 6 clubs) which I think we won only 2. which was QPR away and Birmingham at home. We pick up 10 points out 36 possible points. Simple not good. -
Next season’s line up
chaddyrovers replied to wilsdenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Pears did made a great save at 1 nil up and he can step up but his biggest problem is lack on consistency otherwise he would be solid keeper at this level. Still not in his peak years yet but I do feel we need an experience keeper signing -
Sunderland don't give their head coach must say in player recruitment and you could see from the start of the season that Mowbray was annoyed and didn't believe in just buying under 23 signings. Beale was a disaster appointment but after sacking Mowbray, they didn't know who to appoint as his replacement
-
no but we have the reasons why that happened. The latest comments has said that the current court case would not affect its future operational plans relating to the day to day running of the club. Both SW and MW stated that the Owners had informed the club they see no issues to sending required funds across as and when needed.

its fair point but no reasons why people can't comment or debate about it surely?

could have the said Langstaff at Notts County before he moved there playing Gateshead or Vardy scoring at Fleetwood before he moved to Leicester or Assante-Thomas at WBA playing for Salford. You do plenty of moaning at people but I'm yet to you suggest any players to sign and shooting people suggesting signing Chrisene or players scoring goals in good standard of leagues. you don't think. they backed Mowbray and JDT in his first season with cash for good players. lets hope they backed Eustace similar. With that sort of money we could bring in 6 or 7 good quality permanent signings plus a couple of loans. Plus anyone else we sell

Its will be interesting to see what happens with the footballing managerial merry around. Will Rohl stay with Sheff Wed or move to a Sunderland who been linked with? I would stay at Sheffield Weds personally. Who will Sunderland then appoint? They seem very focus on signimg young players and developing them. the head coach has little say in signings there. Will Still has been linked there. interesting who they go for. Who will Plymouth appoint now? What will Birmingham do now? Will Mowbray stay or leave? Will they appoint Rowett then? Will Huddersfield head coach stay on in league 1? I would be surprised if he did. Will Mowbray want to stay on in league 1 or will he even be able to? any names?

Should have been on sale in late February and early March. When people priority is watching Rovers. releasing them means other people minds and activity will be doing different things. -

agreed totally It is the child choice and he picked that team cos it local club. His dad and mum both take him and he is enjoying supporting and enjoying football. Good luck to him. Can I ask Matty why you support Rovers and how did you involved in supporting Rovers(through your parents or family members for example) -
Possible Keeper signings Viktor Johansson from Rotherham, Has a release clause of £1m. Yes they would be alot of interest in him but I do think he is deffo worth trying to get him to sign here. Looking at the current squad for next season Keepers - Pears, Wahlstedt, Michalski RB - Brittain, Duru CB - Hyam, Carter, Wharton, O'Riordan, McFadzean LB - Pickering, Gent CM - JRC, Tronstad, Travis, Buckley, Garrett RW - Hedges, Markanday AM - Szmodics, Glisenan LW - Sigurdsson, Dolan CF - Vale, Leonard, Telalovic, Gallagher I would give new contracts to McFadzean(12 months contract), Dolan(new 3 year contract) and Gallagher (2 year contract) From the squad, I would sell Markanday(just doesn't enough for me and not show much this season), Vale(not good enough), Loan Telalovic and Wahlstedt to get regular first team football, Sort out Travis future whether he is staying or going. Would loan Leonard out to get regular first team football, rated him highly and I think he had a good overall season this season. Deffo one for the future for me. So for me we need a new keeper, back up right back, centre back, 2 strikers, another attacking midfielder and possible Szmodics replacement, maybe centre midfielder if Travis leaves.

there is still alot of PNE fans not happy with Lowe as their manager and some would like a change. Seems a very much split fanbase towards Lowe. I think he has done good job there but I wouldn't say they should be making playoffs this season
