  1. Who was going to stop this deal given it was the EFL clubs who wanted more TV revenue so the EFL negotiated the best deal they could for what was vote I have plenty of empathy for fans effective by the change of kick off time but this was always going to be case. 4am? would be fantastic given I worked night 😉 What about them? Football in the UK is changing with clubs wanted more TV revenue income so more games go on TV What are you going on about again? just rants after rants.
  2. where did I say I was context? I didn't but this is Eustace full season in charge and there is alot of changes at the club. It will take time for players to settle here. I wish we were spending the we had received in the past 12 months but we aren't as much as we would all like. That' the decisions they have been made. Cos looking at the massive turnover in players, Losing Szmodics will hit us hard and we aren't spending money on championship players like Conway or Thomas-Asante our squad is different, different tactics, different head coach. We are bringing in overseas who will need time to settle in, hopefully they can hit the ground running and we can get them scoring. You should all this, So for me, Eustace;s job is see progress and develop on the pitch and finish mid table. Higher, great, but I don't want to be regelation battle either
  3. If you offer me mid table(14th/15th) I would take it We need solid first choice keeper, back up left back, another centre midfielder, pacey winger, then add Weimann to us. I would love us to splashing the cash but we weren't in the situation, buying players like Thomas-Asante or Thomas Conway. Both It's Eustace's full season and I would take season of stability and let Eustace build on keeping us up last season
  4. So what other kick offs time do you for other 2 days? The EFL and the club's wanted more money for TV so in order to achieve this more games on the telly.
  5. Iversen's demands will drop as the window plays out otherwise he won't be playing first team football. Would have like Gent to stay here and be part of our squad but if wants to play first team football regular then can't blame him On Gallagher, good luck on his move. Been a decent player for us, work hard but never that proflic goalscorer we needed. Still need around another 5/6 in. Going to busy 30 days for us.
  6. Gav, lets be honest the Burnley games were always going to be moved for TV coverage.
  7. Been a busy few days at Rovers and I have looking forward to seeing Gueye and Yuki in a Rovers shirt. Its will interesting time to watch from the stands. McFadzean is back and I'm pleased cos he offered that experience we need. I wouldn't signed him and Batth as one is enough, I would have prefer a left footed centre back on loan or centre back who can play right back like James Hill. For me, We still a number of other signings like Keeper, left back, centre midfielder, winger with pace and Weinmann(who I would sign). If/When Szmodics does leave then we have decide how we replace him
  8. Didn't Rovers say this that lower prices being offered in phase 1 would be offset by the Sky TV money increase? I'm not surprised to see Adult STH drop off this season. 3 adults who sat next to me barely came all season and probably made around 7 or 8 Championship games. Budgets are tight for lots of people and football won't be top of that list for many people. Also the team performance on the pitch has been problem plus the different phases. I would have prefer us to have the same prices all summer and none of these phases
  9. @K-Hod I would just like to say thanks for all the time you give up personally to attend these meetings and asked the questions that we posted on here for yourself and others to asked at the Rovers Fans Forum. Please don't questioned your role cos you are doing the best you can in a different situation. Wouldn't he had to do a work placement as per of football directorship course? Of course he will know different contacts around the French and Belgium football. Wouldn't that be Park contact that found him and recommend him to us
  10. No we need 5 centre backs cos we will play 5 at the backs in some games
  11. You keep asking the same questions. Eustace has told yourself how he wants to player. I've made how the team is being set up, Jackson has. So what more do you want? I name you Briitain and Hedges who can cross a ball. Let's see who else we bring in. Welcome to Rovers Yuki. Another one I've looking forward to seeing play for us. Another interesting signing.
  12. Reading the Fans Forum minutes Rovers still want a keeper and Winger. Eustace wanted to 4 areas of the team in keeper, centre back, number 9 and Winger either 7 or 11.
  13. Nicko reported we want 2 centre backs with our McFadzean and Batth
  14. Friendlies is where you get your team shape, tactics, formation drilled in the players. That's the all idea of friendlies.. Watched Eustace's comments at WATR meeting about comments. Brittain Provides the width on the right and Dolan on the left. JRC moved inside into the 10 role like I have pointed several times, Jackson similarly. Eustace played a specific way last season to keep up and defensive solid. If you watched the clip I've provides on Monday, he scores a couple of goals from balls provided by through balls/low crosses. I would like to pacey winger come in before the deadline.
  15. No. If you watched the pre season games you would know how we are looking to play. Eustace made some comments at the WATR meeting, Elliott Jackson done a couple of articles and I've mentioned several times on here.
  16. Thanks for sharing. Sensible way of targeting players. Well lets hope we get this winger in. Would he be a goo signing and does he have pace? I hope a new keeper is on that list. We need a target man type of player in the way we want to play
  17. Glad to get our first summer signing done. Lets hope Gueye can score the goals we want and that Rovers need. Knew very little about him but I wish him all the best and hope he is success here.
  18. I replied. He was out of contract and last season Bristol City allow him to move to WBA on loan for 6 months
  19. I wouldn't tell yourself to f**k off ever, I respect yourself. I am never on the wind up but my reply was to Mercer specifically
  20. 3 players in for medicals today? how is that sad and depressing? that's what you have head of recruitment in place to scout and find these players from different markets.
  21. Probably to see what his fitness levels are, etc. Gordon Cowans being another Out of contract and Bristol City loaned him to WBA in January
