  1. I agree that the Walkers should have held on and listening to our board about massive TV deals around the corner. Seems like they just wanted the money in asap
  2. Its a shame these interested parties weren't actually interested when the Walker family were selling the club.
  3. If we do sign Phillips on loan he will add some experience and height to then defensive. O'Riordan will also add height to the team. Hopefully we can add at least 2 more. Pacey winger and striker being the targets. Then Wharton replacement if he does leave and not loan back. I still think Markanday and Ennis will leave on loan in this window. I think this Gallagher transfer will get done before the deadline if we sign a quality striker to come in. Nixon linking us to Swansea striker Jerry Yates Would be delighted if we sign Yates
  4. Hartley doing well today. 3 wickets. Good LBW against Sharma. 2 brilliant catches by Pope at short leg and silly point
  5. Why would Arsenal pulled out when the deal is done basically? David Raya sealing permanent move to Arsenal 'just a matter of time' (msn.com) Its required the club to talk to Brentford and get a deal agreed. Deals can been done quickly but the transfer market is still slow at this level. Other managers/head coaches are saying the same like Stoke City Steven Schumacher for example he hasn't even signed here yet a massive over reaction already. Who says we are relegation scrap? Broughton didn't.
  6. Time to move on here. So why about my post. It was done as example how we could spend money in this window. That's my point.
  7. I know he met with JDT and GB around mid January time. If you think he wasn't impressed fine I'm going around in circles again. Pointless for thread
  8. No you couldn't. De Zebri was happy for him to stay. Playing some PL football. Rovers did they best. Like which ones? Examples?
  9. How can you be hearing anything when they are only going for scans today or tomorrow? what is he reliable on? what has he got right in the past 12 months
  10. I would drop the 3 at the back cos Hyam as the right centre back didn't work and Scott Wharton was uncomfortable as the centre of the back 3. I think you would be better with JRC in the back 3 cos of his ability to move forward and overlapped the right back similar to how Wilder did it at Sheff Utd. I would go back to playing 4-2-3-1 personally myself as I think it suits our best players and we created more chances
  11. Disappointed I can't watch it
  12. I take you know people who would be interested in buying if it was for sale. We struggled to be sold when the Walker Trust put up for sale. If only they had waiting for new TV rights to happen they wouldn't need to sale. What are Walker's family up to these days? Do they regret selling the club? My figure was around 60-65 million. £25m to buy the club, £20m to buy Brockhall and £20m running cost, covering the debt until you vastly improve the commercial operations and bring in more sponsorship but also a CEO and commercial team to improve the operations here.
  13. Let's see in 10 days time. Undav changed his mind. Can't fault us for that. O'Brien we discussed to death no need to do so again Think they got enough to do before the deadline without meeting me Explained last night how we could spend in this window. Did you miss that?
  14. As I keep saying the price is fine for myself. Its easy affordable. But other people are struggling financially so making ST cheaper and more affordable for people like this. Also get more fans in the stadium is also my point.
  15. If we had signed Undav and O'Brien in that window we would got playoffs for sure. We need signings. 4 or 5 minimum. Simple as. I've explained how you could do that.
  16. At least 4 or 5 players needed. 2 centre backs, right winger and striker. Plus another if we sell or loan players like Gallagher and Markanday How you say not a chance?
  17. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36673-venky’s-hmrc…the-plot-thickens/?do=findComment&comment=2511904 https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36584-championship-2324/?do=findComment&comment=2519217 just prove it Mercer
  18. Been saying all that's for months Mercer. Glad to see you are agreeing with my analysis
  19. Rovers need to lower prices for next season. I would recommend ST prices for Riverside of £200, BBE and LJW for £250, JWU for £300. ST's for under 12 a pound for the season. Match day prices weekend games £15 for Riverside, BBE, JWL and JWU of £20. Midweek game £10 for Riverside, BBE, JWL and JWU of £15. It should be about operation fill Ewood Park and get it afford for everyone and fans on seats. Hopefully the Fans Forum and We are Rovers groups can put their ideas over to get ST and match day prices lower and affordable for everyone Understandable about the work pattern. I have to go to work straight after the game and do a full shift. Do you get no enjoyment in any game?
  20. The offers weren't good enough. Simple as. Plus what you always to factor in is the DoF and head coach only came in that summer and to sell him would be big call and huge gap in the squad
  21. Sevilla and Nice offered £8.4 million whilst Fulham offered £6m plus £4m in add ons
  22. Would have been a brilliant signing and at least got us top 6 finish and playoff place He has 8 goals this season in the championship. He knows how to score goals Yes I am mad Rovers and Rovers till I die. Its my opinion and I stand by it. Adam Wharton scored yesterday
  23. Can't predict the future Rev. If I could I would have won the Lotto or EuroMillions by now
  24. Its a couple of millions we would lose. Not alot when we are likely to cash in on Adam Wharton, Hayden Carter and possibly Sammie Szmodics in the summer for £25m plus
