  1. JDT has clearly has an input into transfer in or out. Its why I think Gallagher is staying until end of the season. Also Ennis until we sign a replacement for him I deffo don't see that happening. He has walked away from one job, can't keep doing otherwise you get that reputation for doing it rumours from where?
  2. England vs India test series will be shown TNT Sports.. They done a 5 year deal with this. Sky Sports didn't seem interest in the deal. Probably down to cost, viewing figures and lack of quality test matches out there in that deal
  3. Travis wanted out in summer and we didn't sell or loan out. Very few championship clubs spent money in January that we would accept for him. Ideally we want sell I agree with.
  4. Travis wanted out in the summer and again this window. JDT explained the reasons why. Buckley wanted first team football as GB said
  5. Buckley wanted to leave for first team football.. Kaminski and Phillips money went towards the shortfall as GB said in his post Summer transfer interview
  6. To be honest Mercer, He ain't coming here. simple as. He is average player and not a goalscorer we required. Plus his age. No thanks Healey should have been who went for in this window. Good player, goalscorer and exactly what we need up front
  7. But it's the same when we loan players to league 1 or 2 for playing time and development like Carter to Portsmouth or Scott Wharton. Loans are part of football transfers. We had some brilliant loans over the years. We had 2 good loan players this season
  8. Too simplistic? GB and JDT wanted experience players like Batth but owners didn't want to give long contracts to players over a certain age.
  9. Broughton wanted Batth to sign last summer, Owners said no to the contract cos of the length of contract. I guess he wanted striker with a better goal scoring record and experience but they cost more money than we afford at the minute. But that's the market we can shop in cos how we develop players like Tosin, Elliott plus our own younger players. Experience players cost money we don't have.
  10. Exactly. Hyam and alot of players are out of form currently. People last week were suggest JDT had lost the dressing room and now Its Hyam can't be bothered. Just throw away comments cos of current form
  11. Yet Hyam won the fans' player of the year and players' player of the year. I think Hyam is the right captain for us. He should have appoint Captain in the summer. Bournemouth had rejected their loan offer for Moore.
  12. My team Pears Brittain Hyam Wharton Pickering Tronstad Garrett JRC Szmodics Sigurdsson Telalovic
  13. I would have sold if we could use the money for repalcement. JDT is the head coach but I think JDT has won the battle to keep Gallagher here. He is full of praise for him last week For 2 mil, we should be able to find a good replacement for him but if the money wouldn't be invested than its only weaker us. I can think of 2 good replacement for him who would cost similar fee Hirst is injured hence why they want Gallagher. Also Hirst has played a major part in Ipswich being in the top 2 this season
  14. Not alot of movement in Championship yet. Still need 4 in at least. CB, CM, RW and striker. I think we sell Gallagher in this window
  15. Alan Nixon posts in the last couple of days suggestion signings are the way. he knows alot more than we do
  16. No Abbey, I would like new owners and new commercial driven CEO who can improve the club commercial, marketing, sponsorship wise as soon as possible, but I am also extremely cautious about new owner and what type of owner we get after these. Yes we might get a new owner who can be great and CEO who understand the fanbase, local area and what Rovers means to the fans, but it also be the other way. I can't predict who would be interest in the club if it was sale could you?
  17. no links on social media linking Szmodics with a transfer away. Why are people suggesting Ipswich when they have Chaplin as their number 10? Mercer, no one is forcing you to read this thread. Rovers and JDT needs signings in this window
  18. I am still attending the game but I was hoping we could get a good attendance for the game and get through to the next round.
  19. No Abbey, Its what the trust want to do as I read the comments from board members that their aim, so your post is just plain wrong
  20. very disappointed by this game being moved to Monday night. I think its awful decision by BBC radio Wales moving the game to Monday. Saturday dinner time kick off or even Sunday afternoon at 2pm would be much better if they wanted to cover it. I would have prefer the game at 3pm Saturday overall
  21. aren't We Are Rovers(Rovers trust) engaged with Steve Waggott over a range of issues including trying to gain contact with the owners? so surely it would be counter productive to call for Steve Waggott to go when you want a number of things from him?
  22. Thanks for detailed report on the game @arbitroand @Parsonblue It's disappointing how poor Ennis was in the game. Ennis missed another penalty. Was it poor taker or good save their keeper?
  23. embarrassing there, showing your true colours here again. down to the players to do their jobs on the pitch
