  1. probably an agent has offer him to John Park and he has spoken with Eustace who has said we take a look at him.
  2. From Nicko posts on twitter suggested we are very active in the transfers trying to get players in and getting answers from agents and clubs. Lets hope we can get a couple of signings in before Austria We had him on loan and for me its was no brainer for us to sign him on long term contract We have to see what hen can do. He will have plenty of contacts from overseas What do you want him to say? do you want a running commentary of the transfer window? We still need keeper in even if we do sign Zovka for me. Zovka could be hidden gem but its far too much to expect him to be number 1/2 here given his experience so far. I guess we are seeing what contacts John Park has got. There is plenty of free agent keepers who would be good option for us to like Hladky or Roos or Rodak
  3. So Graham, Stokes, Feeney were cheap freebies? really? So what sort of figure do you want to spend given what we have receive in the last 12 months? Its a simple question We don't have money to spend because without funding the owners we need to pay the season bills with it. On Connolly and Campbell, I think both improve our striker area and gives us something different to Gallagher, Leonard and Tyjon. On Tyjon is a great prospect and someone who will be part of this season first team squad. He is a great talent who we have convince to stay here instead of moving to Man Utd where he wouldn't be playing first team football.
  4. I have fully explained about your argument is about the amount of backing they received. Correct? what would you define has Backing? how much? Without our backing we wouldn't sign anyone. Correct? So we know what the current situation which is just frees and loans, so lets get some signings in the coming weeks. Would you not agree that signing Campbell or Connolly would actually improve our striker area?
  5. hope you have a good career Semir and I hope your move to Ulm works out for you.
  6. I would have like to play Salford City this pre season. Its a ground I haven't visited yet. I would have like to have play Blackpool aswell. Its look like we won't play a home friendly before the season starts
  7. We know where the first instalment of Wharton money went to continue to fund the club for rest of last season. The rest of money will help us to fund the shortfall this season which is disappointing that it isn't being reinvested in order to at least bring some quality players which improves the entire squad for this season but seasons after. I disagree on your backing point. Cos free transfers and loans signings is sort form of backing but not the sort of financial backing we want to see. I disagree there. I think Tyrese Campbell coming here would improve our striker area and offers something different to Gallagher, Leonard and Tyjon. I included Burke in my list cos Eustace signed him last season and played him when signed him. I can see us going for him during the summer. On Krul he is only 36 years old and can still play for a couple more seasons. Iversen has a keeper would improve us. Fraser would give us something different. I think we can improve our squad even if it is just loan and free transfer market. It is what I want us to do? of course not. I would like us to spend money at least on a keeper and goalscoring striker but its like that isn't the case, so you deal with the situation we are in and do the best we can
  8. Mowbray's last season we couldn't spend money due to FFP and that why we sold Armstrong and the STC to help us not get into transfer embargo that season and then the spend the follow summer cos we have the money so we bought 3 key players. As I said to Roversfan99, signing players is some form of backing at least. Hedges and Giles should have played much more than they did and Mowbray was obsess in turning Giles into Mahrez instead off having playing him at left wing back and getting the ball into the box. Zeefuik was seen as replacement for Nyambe if my memory serves me right Like I said in previous post, if we had signed that quality striker we needed than we would have been in playoffs that season, so the questions is why didn't Undav want to come here after talks with JDT and GB and second question is where was the plan B target and we didn't we sign one? I wouldn't agree there and I would look to bring them back this season aswell It does some form of backing to bring in signings but the type of financial backing we would like to see where we spend millions on bringing in 5 or 6 quality strikers including a keeper, goalscoring striker, etc to move us up the table and challenging for playoffs. We can still have decent season(mid table finish) even if we just sign loans and free transfers.
  9. @Forever Blue @KentExile I will always be positive and upbeat. Its the only way to approach things in my opinion. I will say Its just over 4 weeks until the season and I am looking forward to the first game of the season as always. Proper Football will be back then
  10. James Anderson last test match starts today. Interesting to see how Gus Atkinson and Jamie Smith play in their first test
  11. Do you have figures for each stand please?

  13. Cos you look at their decisions and who we signed and whether they worked out as good signing or poor signing instead of doing what you do regular which is write them off straight away but then say If they signed I judge them in a Rovers shirt. We clearly made mistakes in last summer recruitment in terms of bringing a quality striker. They were other options we could have gone for and should have gone for. Bringing in players is backing but your point should be about the level of backing each head coach/managers get. Given what we have received in transfer fees, then it should have allow us to spend some money this summer which looks unlikely We paid 200k for Hedges and 500k for Markanday. Plus was Giles and Zeefuik cheap loans really? disagree. Its all about contacts, made quick decisions and having a proper plan. Yet again, who depends who these players are. Would you say Eustace has been backed if we sign Iversen(GK) on loan, Liam Cooper on a free, Campbell on a free, Chrisene on loan, Ayari on loan and Burke on loan? Or this scenario, If we sign Krul on a free, Dramah on free, Ebiowei on loan, Fraser on loan from Wolves, Plus another loan and free transfer signing? all depends who we sign and who others do.
  14. Mowbray still bought in 5 signings which were Giles and Zeefuik on loan, Brown on a free transfer and, Markanday and Hedges were cash buys. We failed to bring in the quality striker we needed and If Undav had signed, I think we would have gone up. He was the missing link but he didn't want to come after talks with GB and JDT. My question would be to both of them is where was the Plan B target for the rest of the window We bought in 7 players including 2 strikers who both turned out to poor signings. My question why didn't we just bring one quality striker even if it was loan player. We bought in another 6 signings during this window and we spent 500k on O'Riordan, 3 loans and 2 free transfers. Ayari and Chrisene were good/loan signings and McFadzean shown his quality. So in summary, each time they have been back in terms of bringing in signings and allow to some spend money. I think we need to think how we used our budget and the type of players we want going forward, cos we spend around £!m a season ago on Wahlstedt and Telalovic. Looking back, could we have used that money better? I think so. Don't you?
  15. I am more than willing to hold my hands up when and if I am wrong. I was hopefully we would spend money and back Eustace who I think could get us into the playoffs places this coming season
  16. Abbey, I just been catching up with all the posts since last night and tomorrow and its appears that my hope that we would spend money is wrong(which I hold my hands and say I was wrong) and we are back to only looking to loans and free transfers, which isn't good news given the money we received and you would have hope that we could have at least some of it even if just £5m I agree. We can't take too many gambles to be honest and we need to bring in British based players or if we are looking overseas for free transfers we can't take risks like Telalovic type transfers
  17. Rovers announce Academy restructure | rovers.co.uk
  18. The Ruddy Rumour turned out to be load of rubbish? Did it? So you know we didn't have an Interest or spoken to his agent? Krul is only 36 years old. Why write him off? What I meant by really experience keeper with loads of games and plus 30 years. I would be looking Hladky or Wilson. Both would be solid options for us. Hladky is on free transfer and would be first choice. He's top keeper.
  19. We need a very experience keeper. There is 3 or 4 options out there we should be going for
  20. You were commenting that we haven't got our budget in place, or our key staff, so I asked you a very simple question which you finally answered is there any players who you wanted us to sign and you felt we missed out and from answer not really every club has changes behind the scenes. Rovers have changed our personal in terms of recruitment and bring in someone will loads of experience which I am surprised you aren't happy with his appointment? We have Eustace as head coach and Waggott who have met during the summer to discussed targets according to the LT and Nixon. On Budget meetings, I already commented on it. No one predicted players in before pre season just what I would have like to happen.
  21. Yes we did played well and we should have 5 or 6 goals in the match. You can see how Eustace wants to play in terms of tactical and how he wants right winger to took inside into the 8 role with the right back providing the width on the right Blackburn talking points including exciting auditions and hints | Lancashire Telegraph
  22. Tyjon has turned down Man Utd offer which he could have taken but we have convince him to stay here, play some football at first team level instead of moving to PL club where he will stuck in under 21 football or loan out time after time plus massive wage rise. I think it is right decision by him to play football not chase money. I voted it down cos I said his career will end up like Ash Phillips time which I don't agree. I respect Eddie's opinion but respectfully disagree with him. If I had wrong I will hold my hands up and say I was wrong
  23. I would say Yates would improve our forward line and would be starter for me over Gallagher.. I disagree with your opinion on Hedges, Gallagher and Dolan not being good at this level. Sigurdsson is a good player but we need to be fit more and playing more. So you are complaining about us not moving quicker in the transfer market but none of the players that have moved so far you wouldn't really want and wouldn't improve our starting 11(in you opinion). Has the budget only really sorted really affect us when you consider the amount of changes that has happened behind the scenes? Also who says that Eustace has been left clueless as anyone by the gaps in communicate? any info what has happened to form such your comments on that?
