No it's fairly logic and make sense to be honest. Travis has wanted out for 6 months. He asked for move twice. Travis wants to play the 6 role which JDT doesn't selected him for and prefer Tronstad there or Wharton if Tronstad isn't available. So JDT is happy to let him go and used his wages to get players in who fit his style of play and want to play here.

Firstly, welcome to both players. Yasin Ayari and Ben Chrisene. Let's give them a properly chance before writing them off cos of their age. Chrisene made his debut at 15 years old for Exeter and is England youth international. Ayari is someone who Brighton paid £5m for. Would suggest some talent there and he knows JDT from his days at Malmo. JDT has said in his press conference that Ayari isn't a direct replacement for Travis. I also like that Rovers have kept both players signings unwrapped until we signed them and signing them early in the window is a big bonus. I think Ayari might play from the right of the attack under JDT. I don't think we are at all in a relegation battle like others have suggested but every club at this level take PL young players on loan. Its looks like Jake Batty hasn't developed like we hoped since the summer hence why we have brought in a left back on loan On Travis leaving, JDT has said he wanted out of Rovers since the summer. Messi would be perfect for the false 9 role like Dolan has played but lets be realistic it ain't happening and to be honest very pointless question. You signed players that fit your style of play. simple as.

Tronstad and Wharton are our first choice now. Tronstad is a much better all round player. We have upgraded here from Travis and Tronstad

Or you bring in a player that suits our style and why would change style when it's suits Szmodics, Wharton and Tronstad how we play

He has input into the squad. He has say in transfers saying who we sign. He has to yes before we sign a player. He can suggest his own targets aswell. If Travis isn't going to play much for the season cos JDT doesn't want to select him(recent none appearances in the last 3 games) and Travis to play then we should let him leave and bring in a player who will be select more.

They were nothing in Travis to Ipswich yesterday. One poster saying he was off to Ipswich and one said his family member nothing in it

Why change the team style just for Travis?

I wonder with Travis leaving on loan it's means we are bringing in Hayden on loan? No JDT has selected Garrett ahead of Travis to play centre midfield. When was the last time Travis started in centre midfield? I would say no he isn't second choice for that position cos JDT plays him further forward in the 8 role not the 6 role. He has played Wharton there instead when Tronstad hasn't been selected.

We signed Tronstad to play the defensive midfielder role who is upgrade on Travis. He was free signing. We could sign replacement who would good back up to Tronstad. Has JDT played him as defensive midfielder this season? No he haven't cos Wharton played there at start of the season. Travis played the 8 role not the 6 role.

Travis is about 4th or 5th choice at the minute with Tronstad, Wharton, Garrett and JRC(if fit) ahead of him. Plus Buckley will be back also. Buckley or JRC could replace him or we could add someone like Herbie Kane from Barnsley who would add quality to this squad
