  1. I think Rovers will win this 2-1 My team Pears JRC Carter Wharton Pickering Travis Buckley Thomas Dack Dolan Gallagher Subs:- Hilton Phillips Hedges Morton Szmodics BBD Leonard
  2. Been up for sale since Hoyle took it over after Hodkingson ownership went downhill quickly
  3. PL clubs have dismissed and in fact this idea is none starter again
  4. My quick thoughts are the result and performance wise attacking wise disappointing. Thought defensive we were solid. Carter impressed me the most. JRC and Pears solid performance. Thomas my man of the match. Best player on the pitch for me. Rovers didn't take their chances on the night. Some positive performances to focus on. I wouldn't made the Hedges for Thomas but dolan on BBD. DIsagree with JDT
  5. I do based my opinion on players record aswell has other factors
  6. Well my point was he is at the start of Championship career and his first full season at this level Well, we have to agree on disagree on Vale Did I change my opinion on Hirst cos I don't think I did. Maybe my memory is wrong tho Yes I still have faith in GB, JDT and the recruitment staff.
  7. was it a good game to watch? Only watched the Match of the Day highlights. I didn't understand why the Everton board members didn't attend tho. Surely should have been there backing their new manager and players.
  8. I don't based opinions on other fans opinion on their player. On Harris, I don't know much about him so don't have opinion him or what is best position is cos when you look into where he has played its in 3 different positions whether its as the number 9 or left of the attack or right of the attack. He did score a very good goal against us
  9. Dack is an experience player so the comparison is unfair one for me. Vale is at the start of his playing career People can keep going on Vale but I won't be changing my opinion on Vale
  10. And I accepted your viewpoint cos of your opinion on having too many TV games. I have expressed my opinion on it and the way football has gone in the last 30 years which I hope you will accept my viewpoint.
  11. So you can't answer how many chances Vale has actually had. Based on watching him over a number of years from under 18's to now. I rate him and I think he will be good player for him. His movement at Bristol City created the space for Morton to run into and pulled their defender out from that space.
  12. No maybe about it Your suggestion is fair one when you look at your point of view of TV games. It depends if you think we are boring to watch or not. But if Warnock or McCarthy in charge and we were in similar position you and plenty of others would be saying its a results based game not about entertainment. Those Wigan, Cardiff and Rotherham games were schedule when we were 3rd and also we could be third again if we win our 2 games in hand on some teams.
  13. How many chances has Vale had to score this season in the league? Dack and BBD are more experience players so I would say unfair comparison
  14. Didn't Coyle sign him first time?
  15. So you are discounting his 2 cup goals which he took very well? Also how many chances has he actually had in championship to score? He isn't a target man striker. He has good movement, can finish and decent link up play.
  16. But some of those home games have been on Bank Holiday like New Year day game or Easter time. The Blackpool game which was schedule for 3pm kick off but moved for the FA cup game. So if you want a cup runs then some 3pm kick games will be moved also. I have plenty of empathy for people in that situation but you also need to accept that I am posting my opinions and view point since its my account. The problem is Football has become a 7 days a week with various kick off time over the last 30 years but people haven't moved on with the times or accept this is how Football is at PL or Championship level now
  17. Surprised Cardiff turned down the money tbh. His goal against us was a good strike by him. He does play wide alot at Cardiff Good point about Gallagher being sold in the summer which might be good possibility Also Nixon has reported that we tried to sign Todd Cantwell in the January transfer window. Norwich turned down our bid Blackburn refused to splash out £700,000 for Cardiff striker Mark Harris.. and hope to get him for FREE this summer | The Sun
  18. Each to their own but GB has accept responsibility for everything gone even if some of it IMO isn't his fault. The lack of striker signing in the January window is his fault and he took full responsibility for it
  19. he hasn't much of impact there. Weird appointment in the first place but Southampton backed him in the transfer market in January
  20. Some games won't be 3pm on Saturday cos of Easter holidays or Christmas period plus Blackpool home league game being moved for FA cup home game at 3pm Saturday against Birmingham. Since I have been following Rovers for the last 31 years, Football has modernised and has become 7 days a week sport with various kick off times That is modern day football now.
  21. He can do that in the dressing room not in public.
  22. But it isn't every week there tho. I have accept that Football is a 7 days a week sport with various kick off times as it as been for the last 30 years and the entire time I have supported Blackburn Rovers. This is my account so I am talking from my point of view. Given that Football in the last 30 years has modernised and become a 7 days a week sport with various kick off.
  23. I gave my comments on the transfer window failure to sign a striker and to get the Lewis O'Brien deal over the line in the last couple of days
  24. Broughton explained the situation and it's one that we have accept it the circumstances which happened during the transfer window. We will learn lessons from it and get better equipped for the next one
