I have stated my view on this and I can't be anymore clearly than I have been. Beale is staying at Villa now. Wrong, I used Mercer posts plus a number of other people posts on here and other sites to posted about Ferguson. well clearly people are betting on him for a reason. Maybe its what people read on forums or social media but maybe its someone with inside info from the club. I don't know if it will be terrible appointment or not but I am willing to have an open mind on it. I think there is worst appointment out there we could make. He could be the next Mark Hughes but equalling he could be then next Brian Kidd.

Thanks the report here -
I agree that any new appointment is a risk. What was Kompany's style of play and formation there? It will be interesting to see who they appoint to this position. I think you might look towards the Belgium and Dutch market under him.

not seen the game at all apart from some of final minutes of the game. was it a good game? Forest deserved to win? -
Yes I think we should relax as we have to 2 weeks before the players. So I hope and think Rovers will make an appointment this week for head coach position here. That would give the head coach a week or so to sort out pre season training, sort the coaching staff out. Then we sort out the Sporting Director role we need plenty of new players? do we? we need about 6 new players. That isn't alot. Well clearly Rovers wanted to speak to him just like QPR did but after talks he wants to stay at Villa which is his won decision. why does that matter? Waggott and Rovers have decided to interview several different candidates and will appoint the person who fits the best man for the head coach job here. Another championship club in QPR are doing the same. Yes Watford have made a quick appointment and didn't do it in the proper correct process.

Very good grand prix. Shame that Russell, Norris and Hamilton couldn't finish higher up tbh. But good win for Perez

I'm not sure Kompany will be such a push over as you suggest but I am sure he will use his Manchester City links to sign 2 or 3 loan players. Maybe even a coach or two from their academy/under 23's. On Cornet and Weghorst signings, I have seen reports that suggested their owners/new scouting model was behind the signings.

I would like to see players Jack Vale, Hayden Carter and Jake Garrett be part of our squad for the coming season. Yes we need around 6 signings this summer to our Squad I think Rovers and Waggott have done it right by interviewing several different candidates and hopefully this week we can select the right candidate now. It was several different people within all fairness all fair points

Firstly, take a step here, Its Mercer's comments about Duncan Ferguson plus the comments from @Bbrovers2288in several posts about Duncan Ferguson here ❚❚ Searched for 'Ferguson ' in All Content (brfcs.com) plus also when I was talking to Alan Myers a couple of weeks he answered any questions but the Duncan Ferguson. Also add to that other people posted on other media sites and platforms. Its clear he has been interviewed at very least. @Buttytake a close look at why I think Mercer might be correct On Duncan Ferguson and Michael Beale, Yes they are novice in terms of being head coaches/managers but they have been coaches for a number of years. Duncan Ferguson has worked under David Moyes, Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez so will have gain alot of information and knowledge from them. Michael Beale has worked at Liverpool and Chelsea under Jurgen Klopp and Carlo Ancelotti while he was academy coach at either club plus he has been Steven Gerrard's assistant at 2 football clubs. Steven Gerrard's comments are endorsing of his ability as a coach in the Lancs Live article I think it's a huge risk to appoint a first time head coach like Michael Beale or Duncan Ferguson personally. I'm not against it totally given their coaching background but I would still have concerns over it. I still think Carlo Carvalhal would be the right appointment given his background and experience. @Paul ManiI agree that Rovers are conducting proper interview process and speaking to potential candidates making sure we get the right appointment that fits the club footballing strategy going forward.

. The players returned I believe around 13th June so that's 2 weeks to make the head coach appointment and allow him to bring in staff, sort out pre season training, a couple more pre season fixtures, etc. That why I think we will make an appointment this week of the head coach We need the appointment of the sporting director to be made shortly after the head coach appointment. @Bbrovers2288has said Ferguson has been interviewed
-
Carlos Carvalhal has brough through 17 young players into his Braga during his 2 seasons that. @unleaded posted on this with more info. Phillip Cocu at Derby brought through Max Bird, Jason Knight, Lee Buchanan and Louis Sibley into the first team and now most of key players at Derby under Wayne Rooney there Duncan Ferguson worked at Everton Academy before bring appointing on to the first team staff there Michael Beale has years at Liverpool academy and has been Steven Gerrard's coaching staff at Liverpool under 18's, Rangers and now Aston Villa. Liam Manning has experience of working at Ipswich, West Ham and New York City youth teams before he got a job at Lommel in the second division in Belgium then he was appointment MK Dons head coach after Russell Martin left there

Aren't Pasha and Waggott close and get on, so you would think both are interviewing these candidates. I don't mind us interviewing a number of candidates at all and actually think its gives you a proper choice. Now we need to identify a number 1 choice or 2 or 3 candidates for second interviews before making a recommendation/appointment who to appoint this week. For me, this appointment need to made before the weekend. Which then allow the new head coach a week or so to bring in staff and organised the pre season training and maybe 1 or 2 more pre season friendlies
-
TBH Gav, I don't have a much of interested in the champions league or the other UEFA club competitions these days. I might have missed some great games but I don't missed them at all

Read Nixon article. Look at Mercer's post on here regarding Ferguson plus I have seen different people on other social media suggested he has been interviewed. Plus I was tweeting Alan Myers last week and he answered every question apart from my question about whether Duncan Ferguson wanted the Rovers head coach job. LT will report what the clubs want and not do any exclusive. When was the last time they broke any sort of exclusive story? on those names I mention, most have a background in bringing through youth development or bring young players into the first team.
-
So we have interviewed Duncan Ferguson and Michael Beale who are both in work and some people said on here on and other social media sites that Rovers have spoken to Liam Manning so The LT is technically not correct IMO cos we have spoken to in work people. The other names IMO we have spoken are Carlos Carvalhal, Phillip Cocu, Nuno Santo, Jonathon Woodgate and Chris Hughton
