  1. If Ainsworth is first choice then we need to wait until their playoffs run is over
  2. They are going to bigger clubs so what can you do. Would you turn down a move to Newcastle or Red Bull Leipzig where you are working with better players and improve salary?
  3. Yes the manager should be part of group who decide and bring in new staff to work with him. The manager needs to have a working relationship with this person. We need a manager who has lots of contacts out there where we bring them in without advertising for the position like we do now. These are positions that need filling already 1. Manager 2. Head of Player Recruitment 3. Lead Athletic Performance Coach 4. First Team Athletic Performance Coach 5. Head of Medical Services and that's before we even get to the new manager bringing in his own staff. Blimey this new manager will have a rebuilding job with the backroom staff aswell as needing 8 to 10 new signings
  4. 2 goals in 17 games there. Looks short on fitness and nothing like Maja I seen at Sunderland
  5. Who is this top class striker out there? I would have gone for Rhys Healey from Toulouse but we didn't if we want a striker to score goals
  6. If you have problem with my post then don't see read it. No problem then is there
  7. Yes Cos Mowbray's comments in the LT were suggesting another key backroom staff member will go. He is going to Newcastle so Rovers and the next manager is going to have massive to do list including bringing in his own staff and replacing 4 key staff members aswell as signing players. The next manager appointment need to be done quickly and within the next 2 weeks
  8. Liam Mason, Blackburn Rovers' head of athletic performance, is set to join Newcastle United as the exodus of staff from Ewood Park continues. The next manager will need to rebuild the fitness and medical/Physio side of the club
  9. Maja failed a medical on an back injury on the last day of the transfer window
  10. Why would I not renew my season ticket since I have one for over 20 plus years now? I enjoyed going to Ewood Park every time to watch my team play
  11. I agree and this season when the crab grounds are shut for the season. I have all the seasons of it on Discovery
  12. I think Jackson has done well and improve the team on what Dyche left. I think he deserve a place on the next manager's coaching staff
  13. I don't see that happening one bit tbh. Mowbray is still under contract and as we seen before Lambert was allow to carry on even tho he was going
  14. Pulis has retired according to @1864roverite why? Yes I would want rid of them and I think Most managers would want their own number 2 at least. I want a new goalkeeper coach bring in but We need to recruit new people in the medical and physio department with our head of medical services Andy Mitchell gone to Red Bull Leipzig and another staff gone aswell What are you basing that on? I think the recruitment department did well last season. Khadra and Van Hecke were successes here, Markanday could be and I look forward to seeing him next season,
  15. Neil Harris was very honest post match interview about the squad there. Look like full squad rebuilding job there
  16. Not a chance Am I paying. It was @Tugay is Godwho posted from his account not me
  17. Venus, Lowe, Johnson and Benson all under contract. On othera who have left or will leave The Head of medical (Andy Mitchell) went to Leipzig, another of the medical team (Ibrahim Kerem) went to run Manchester United’s women, and there’s a really important member of backroom staff leaving for Newcastle United next week. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20107124.positions-fill-blackburn-rovers-head-recruitment-leave/
  18. Farke's staff at Norwich City who left was him was number 2 Eddie Riemer, first-team coach Christopher John and Head of Performance Chris Domogalla. Riemer had worked with Farke at Dortmund reserves and SV Lippstadt 08 and arrived at the club with him in May 2017. Domogalla arrived at the same time, also from Dortmund B, and oversaw all aspects of sports science and fitness at the club. John had been appointed in November 2018 from Paderborn, where he was assistant with their Under-21s. He had worked with Farke at SV Lippstadt.
  19. anyone been watching the new series on Deadliest Catch on Discovery? I think its a great insight and watch for someone who is interested
  20. Farke will need time to develop and bring in his own players but we have a good academy who produces good players which is one of the main attraction to the job, Budget and wages for new players and the fact that owners leave you to get on with the job and run the footballing side of the club
  21. Nicko is probably the national journalist out there who is even interested in covering Rovers tbh.
