January Transfer window 2022

I would turn down any Brereton bid in this window -
For Andy Carroll and Kieffer Moore signings. Would you be happy with either? Or would you a young striker in?

Yes I would rather be at the game but with it being on a Monday night means the people I would usually do away games with have a family and work commitments during the working week. Like the Hull game at Boxing day we were there. But it was called off now it midweek the 2 people me and my missus went with can't do midweek away games for the 2 reasons above named. And I can't do midweek away games myself due to work commitments -

We don't even what the budget is for the window. Yes we have to be careful and think of the medium and long term but have we can spend couple of millions in this window Do you think we should just pay O'Riley asking price that MK Dons want or negotiate a price more suitable to us? No idea if he is any good or worth 1.7 million pounds Or could we used the money better where we can bring in 2 or 3 players? -

Firstly, I would suggest you calm down. Secondly, He says we are working on 3 or 4 transfer deals not including Zeefulk deal. So lets wait and see what we spend and what deals we do. You woukdn't expect us to be spending Brereton size transfer fees but I hope for 1 or 2 permanent deals before the deadline with another loan deal plus Zeefulk loan to buy deal. Thirdly, Do you really Mowbray is going to come out and say we have money to spend? no you wouldn't. Mowbray will always keep his cards close to his chest. The club has to look after the finances in the short, medium an long term well being of the club, and I would expect nothing else. The training ground sale is on last season club accounts. Armstrong money will go towards the running of the club including some transfer fees, wages and meeting FFP rules. Who knows what will happens with Brereton this season -

Why is it a joke? Depends what Mowbray means by lavish spending. Plus need to sensible and wise with the permanent signings. -

Not really. Plenty of depth in our front options and defenders options. One more attacker and Zeefuik I have more than happy with our options. No reason to stockpile players. I think we need a centre midfielder in as priority as I don't want Johnson anywhere near this team. -

Mowbray having a smaller squad and with less options has gone us well. Can't tinker too much. I have no idea who we target for attacker position signing. I just hope it's someone who fits into our style and settle in quickly -

So you want to 2 attacking signings? Where are they all going to fit in given we have already have Brereton, Gallagher, Khadra, Dolan..surely one enough. -

Sharpe and Crooke seems to think we had interested. All he does well there -
I think it will be interesting to see if and who you sign before the deadline will tell you whether you will stay up or not. or whether they go down and bring in players ready for next season in Championship by signing 2, 3 or 4 players who fit the Championship. Also got to think about next season squad age

January Transfer window 2022
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Surely this depends who will sign in this window regardless of the money spent. We can sign a couple of players like Hedges and attacker who cost very little due to their contract being up in the summer. We might be looking in the foreign market for an attacker. We don't need to the club to comment as people can work it from the ckubs accounts, information already in the public domain and other clubs who have failed FFP rules. -

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You can keep bringing the owners into this but given how much the club losing each season, I would think most of that money will go towards meeting FFP rules. BUT the truth we don't know what budget Mowbray has got to spend this window and he will keep his cards very close to his chest just like he always does. Did it last season with Pickering deal or few seasons ago with Brereton deal. Well we have to disagree on this. I will look to move him on. He isn't asset to the team anymore. I think we will bring in centre midfielder in before the deadline. Who or what style of midfielder we should I will leave to Mowbray and Rovers to decide. Well he has played 4 senior games, 3 in the EFL trophy and 1 in UEFA conference league. Not sure how good he is and whether he would fit our system and style. -

Tony Mowbray was keen to steer away from talking about individuals but confirmed that a move is close for Hertha Berlin defender Deyovaisio Zeefuik. A period of isolation has held up a move for the Dutch right back who arrived in East Lancashire to finalise the deal last weekend. The 23-year-old is set to sign an initial loan deal, with the option for a permanent move in the summer, ahead of the weekend trip to Cardiff City, but isn’t expected to be part of the travelling party. Mowbray says three or four other deals are being worked on as Rovers look to add to their options in January.
