  1. Today's fixtures that affect the top 6 and some chasing teams Fulham vs Huddersfield. 12.30pm kick off Bristol City vs Boro Luton vs WVBA QPR vs Hull Sheffield United vs Swansea Stoke vs Birmingham
  2. Maybe so but will Forest still be form and given how lucky Bournemouth was at Blackpool last week I think it would be a good chance for Forest to beat them
  3. Its all about Rovers winning today and getting second place if we don't then ensure we get a playoff place by end of the season. Its snowing abit but nothing to be concerned about. its abit of snow at most
  4. Van Der Beek had a great game last week where he was outstanding for them. Lampard is an excellent appointment for them. Fans have took to him already. If you go down you have a huge rebuilding to do whether Dyche stays or not. you need another 8 to 10 signings next summer if you go down, do you agree? You got any talent young players coming through?
  5. Were you happy with your only business being this signing?
  6. Delighted that Kaminski signed a new contract here and praised the work done by our current GK coach Ben Benson. Lets hope this persuades Lenihan, Rothwell and Nyambe to sign here
  7. true but don't want them to have games in hand too much longer. More pressure on them considering their spending in January and the financial implications on them not going up
  8. I received a month's ban last month. Been on other Rovers fans site whether on the Facebook or the internet. Plus using my own twitter account more now and will continue to do so. Feel free to follow me on twitter and facebook.
  9. Very disappointed that Bournemouth Forest was called out and so late. Thought Forest would be beat them and we could close the gap on that second place
  10. My team for this game Kaminski Lenihan Van Hecke Wharton Nyambe Rothwell Travis Giles Buckley Gallagher Dolan Subs- Pears, Pickering, JRC, Johnson, Hedges, Khadra, Vale or Philips The Rovers players and team will find a way to win and someone will step up just like Rothwell did at Cardiff or Gallagher at home to Boro score This is team who is together and perform in the blue and white shirt Rovers to win 2 nil. Gallagher and Dolan with the goals
  11. We will finish top 6 and playoff place at least. But second place is there to get from us. Bournemouth have several games against teams already challenging for playoffs and top 2 including us. No way is the race over for second place and IMO we can grab it for sure
  12. 3 Nottingham Forest players were guilty of inciting the Rovers fans in the Blackburn End. James Garner, Keinan Davis and Bruce Samba being the 3 players. Samba's antics second half did nothing but annoyed and wind the Rovers fans up. Samba was spoken to about his actions after that from what I told after emailing the Police officer dedicated football offer for Rovers after these incidents.
  13. Andrew Strauss tipped to become ECB Chairman by Trevor Bayliss and Michael Vaughan TREVOR BAYLISS: Andrew Strauss is the PERFECT man to save English cricket | Daily Mail Online https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/cricket/england-andrew-strauss-ecb-vaughan-25999219 Also Strauss will supposedly played a key part in the future of Root and Sliverwood future. Ashes: Andrew Strauss to play a key role in deciding Silverwood, Root's future (sify.com) I would be massive in favour of Strauss becoming ECB Cricket Chairman and it would be interesting how he would change the cricketing structure and what changes he would make to the England cricket team including Giles role, Sliverwood role and Root being captain
  14. I can understand that but given that you have been in PL for a number of seasons now and I would have thought you would have invested in the scouting and recruitment department more. Do you know what Mike Rigg role is there and how much involvement does he have in recruitment and scouting? Any idea who Dyche is targeting? any transfer rumours?
  15. Fair enough. I posted a team on here before the game based on Mowbray pre match comments and press conference. This the team I would gone for Kaminski Lenihan Van Hecke Wharton Zeefuik Buckley Davenport Rothwell Edun Gallagher Brereton I said yesterday I would gone for Gallagher in my pre match comments but looking back I was wrong for suggesting that. Gallagher was awful yesterday
  16. How would Solanke fit into how we play our front 2? He wouldn't given how Mowbray wants his forwards to play and how we play.
  17. We have to agree to disagree on Sam Allardyce as I am not fan of him anymore since his time he wanted out of Rovers for a move to Middle East
  18. Why are you struggling to identify targets? what your scouting network/staff like? Is this where Mike Rigg should be massively involve in scouting and recruiting? I can understand the club wanted younger players with greater potential resale value but does signing these type of players suit Dyche and his coaching methods? I wouldn't be surprise if Dyche walk shortly if he feels he isn't being backed by the club give the Wood sale money. But I still wouldn't be surprise if they sack him actually Why would appointing Rooney or Lampard be appease the fans? and not appoint a manager who you feel is the best person for the job and someone you are looking at for the long term future of the club?
  19. i have never mention a big lump or a poacher in my post. So you are being pedantic by keep mentioning it when I am talking and discussing how any new forwards need to be able to fit into how we play and the work rate, defensive duties they need to be able to do to fit into our front 2. We don't play as front 2 as normal as other clubs are doing but play wider in our 3-5-2 than QPR or Boro o Stoke do.
  20. he won 10 games out of 26 games in charge there. Hardly anything to write home about But my point still stands that fans would be very unhappy if you were appoint a new manager from a club at the bottom of the league regardless of the job he has done there
  21. because if you want main striker signing then we need a change formation to play them. We play our front 2 very different to how other teams played a front 2 in 3-5-2 like Boro or Stoke do so we need a forward who would fit into how we play our forwards. Our forwards have defensively duties to do
  22. That's was a Cup game not a league game. I comment on Boro being solid and good defensive but not us who have been in great form, keeping clean sheets and playing well
  23. Thats your opinion but I don't see Everton appoint him and would you employ a manager who has his club bottom of the league?
  24. Where did I say it only has been those 2 but its the 2 strikers we have been linked to recently. Did you know our budget for this window? Where does a Solanke type striker fit into how Mowbray plays his 2 up front in the 3-5-2 formation we are currently playing and surely the only way this type of striker would suit us is in 4-3-3 formation?
