  1. We have enough big and tall players to cope without Gallagher and Brereton.
  2. Not at all. So by your opinion would Maja or Healey be able to play the role and how we play our strikers well enough as Khadra and Brereton have? Given that both are main centre strikers and IMO wouldn't fit how we play our strikers. I think we need to change formation like last night when we need an extra midfielder and should have taken off Rankin Costello off. Travis should be back and fit. What was the illness? But if he not fit then play Davenport. no! tell them to come back in the summer if we don't get promote. I think if Gallagher and Brereton played you need a pacey centre player like Dolan like we had at the start of the season when we beat Swansea and Cardiff. But if Brereton is playing as the centre player with Gallagher on the right it won't work.
  3. Surely Dyche had players he wanted before Wood left and I do wonder why you haven't sign one player yet. is the club ownership and how the deal is finance playing a major part in you unable to sign anyone yet? Also Dyche is second favourite to sack on the next manager to leave a PL club? starting to wonder if they have been a falling out behind the scenes there between Dyche and the ownership/board?
  4. anyone been watching the Under 19' cricket world cup?
  5. Burnley have been linked with Chris Basham aged 33 I am very surprised they have not sign anyone yet. I starting to think they will sign no one this window
  6. I would like to see sign a defensive midfielder who can tackle in the next 11 days of the transfer window. On Healey or Maja(or other potential names) is would a proper centre striker actually fit into our side or would we be better changing formation to 4-3-3 for example and bring in a proper centre striker. Its an interesting debate and questions to be answers. Yes I have enjoyed watching us defending properly and keep 7 clean sheets in 8 games prior to last night game but I do feel that last night in the second half we should have change formation and gone 4-3-3. But we don't play with a proper striker/number 9 type in the formation we have been playing until last night which has produce 26 points from 10 games prior to the Hull game. The Rovers academy is important to the club and we need to continue to produce and bring through our own players from the Academy.
  7. I am hoping that we can make a centre midfielder signing before the deadline closes. No idea on Hedges whether he would be good signing or how he would fit into the team if we can closing in on him as a signing
  8. I have already said that the change of formation was wrong last night. But the poster said the formation was confusing which it isn't confusing and in fact alot of championship teams use like QPR Most teams when scored the first goal tend to win. Plan B should have been 4-3-3 formation I would say he is still weeks away cos he hasn't any match action
  9. but the formation wasn't confusing tho. We pick the wrong player to replace Travis with and choosing Gallagher meant a change of formation
  10. how was tonight formation confusing?
  11. Just wasn't Rovers night. The game was sum up by very incompetent referee who missed 2 very clear fouls during the games that were game changing decisions. Plus few decisions were inconsistent depending on which team it is. When will the EFL and PGMO actually start improving and bringing through better quality referees. Its getting pathetic now. Right after my rant on the referee's performance, lets talk about Rovers starting 11. Missing Travis was massive for us. Davenport should have replace him and not Gallagher. Playing 3 up front didn't work for us. Apart from that I woudn't have change any other personal from the start. at half time I would bought on Davenport for Gallagher. Then during the second half I would change formation and gone 4-3-3 with Rankin Costello and Wharton going off for Markanday and Butterworth for Buckley. I think we were poor defending for the 1st goal, we were a body light in midfield and it shown in the goal. Think JRC and Lenihan was too slow and not strong enough. 2nd goal was a clear foul on the keeper. How was that miss by the ref? The referee should have award Rovers a penalty for a clear foul by Bernard on Brereton. How can the ref not give it? Why would he go down when he going through on goal? Khadra had a great chance but defender clear it. Lenihan and Wharton had chances from set pieces and should have done better. Edun who also had a chance to score. Markanday shown one piece of skill in the last few minutes. It will take him time to settle in. We can get top 2 and automatic promotion so let's forget this game and focus on the Boro game. I would make 3 changes for the Boro game with Zeefuik, Travis and Markanday come into the team for Rankin Costello, Gallagher and Markanday. Keep the Faith! Come on Rovers 🔵⚪
  12. Another ref mistake. Clear foul on keeper miss by this useless referee. The standard isn't good enough
  13. Well I downloaded the NHS covid passport properly and always show it when needed
  14. Playing 3 attackers has upset our attacking play. We are midfielder light in centre midfield. Deffo penalty not given. Clear as they come. If refs don't get them then they should be sacked. Gallagher has been useless.
  15. I did have Covid passport to get in and wear a mask when entering the stadium but when in my seat I took it like many of fans did
  16. My opinion and the fact he is enjoying his football here
  17. 3-4-1-2 Buckley and Rothwell in centre midfielder with Khadra in the 10 role with Brereton and Gallagher in the forward roles
  18. Travis missing out due to illness
  19. He is far from a random Journalist given that he is one of Sky Sports main reporter But we don't know Mowbray wants centre midfielder type wise. I see Buckley as Rothwell's replacement in the midfield 2. Personally I can see Rothwell staying at the club anyway.
  20. Well that's your opinion. Graham had a different opinion on him
