  1. Think you are looking far too simplistic at their following and do forget they had an away game 3 days before at Forest game. Plus 30 pounds plus travel/food and drink cost. Do you attend yesterday game?
  2. plenty of Burnley fans have the same opinion
  3. time we let/sell Chapman now
  4. is Pike loan deal at Fylde a month anyway? Might look for league club after that deal?
  5. I think over 2k fans from Huddersfield on a Sunday at that price is a great effort. We have sold 1k half season tickets now and thats is another great effort by them
  6. Both of them players have club options of extra 12 months contract after this season
  7. Will be interesting how McBride and Burns do for these loan clubs. Think if you look at Mowbray's comments on Clarkson, he clearly rate him but with the form of Travis, Rothwell and Buckley have meant that Clarkson can't get minutes he wants here. I really hope he has a good career and gets another loan move this month where he will play
  8. Were we bidding 15 million plus for him? Also we did have 2 left backs already at the club
  9. Just my opinion but I wouldn't be surprised if Dyche had a clause in his contract that allow him to walk away if relegation happens. I was talking some Burnley fans in the last week and they are fed up with Dyche but realised he is the best they can have or could get at this current stage
  10. don't see Watford going for Dyche given that these same owners sack Dyche when they first took over the Hornets. I agree on the financial implications Burnley will face in the future. Will Dyche be there by the start of the next season? I don't think he will. I suspect he will walk away in the summer whatever division they are in
  11. over 1k half season ticket have been sold now
  12. I'm not surprised by Burnley fans wanting Dyche out and change of manager. But also what will Burnley new owners do when they consider the financial implications of relegation to the Championship.
  13. Mowbray rubbished the Brighton linked with Brereton after the Bournemouth game according to Rich Sharpe on the Rovers chat interview discussing potential signings, outgoings and contracts. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19778739.mowbray-quashes-ben-brereton-exit-talk-brighton-links/ Also swap deals are very hard to do I think sending Clarkson back is in order to bring another one.
  14. do you really think Brighton would agree to that? if Brighton want a striker and paying that sort of money they would want him straight away for the first team?
  15. What promotion worth to the club?
  16. Newcastle need proven PL players to stay up. I don't see any bid and Like I said I wouldn't be selling Brereton for.any money. He is crucial to us going up
  17. I wouldn't selling Brereton in January for any money
  18. They are chasing proven PL players like Aubemyang and Ighalo as striker targets
  19. I like Maja as a player when he was at Sunderland but not sure he fits out style of play currently. I agree they will players that they would have scouted and be looking to bring in who. Will be interesting who we bring in true, Would you try 4-2-3-1 second half today when Huddersfield were so strong defensive?
  20. All depends on Burnley financial situation and do they need money. Plus what the ownership financial problems might be going forward from here. Also what is Dyche future going forward after this season if they go down and where would they go next. But if they stay up then they have very good players. well thats your opinion. I rather Newcastle stayed up and Burnley/Watford went down. Plus if we get promoted then I rather go Newcastle then Watford
  21. Yes he works back and helps the full back out. Yes put in a shift in that particulary game down to Southampton being down to 10 men but when he played as winger here did he track back and help defensively? not all the time. I don't see Maja playing the wide forward role as he is main striker type so unless we play 3-4-3 or go back to playing 4-2-3-1 then not sure he would be the right fit. Not getting into any argument Healey who is scoring goals and main 9 striker. What we need a wide attacker/striker who can score goals whilst playing the role we need and being good defensively. does Maja fit our formation and the way we play our front 2? not sure he does.
  22. He keeps saying he is one of the best player in the league but after 2 serious injury I'm not sure he will be the same player as before. Lets see how he is mentally and physically after a few games and challenges I just hope people don't expect too much from him too soon. IMO, anything from him this season is a bonus
  23. Fair enough. Would be surprise if we sold any of them but who knows. Think we need a more attacking right wing back signing That's depends on your opinion on Burke and how Mowbray see him as player and his role if he was signed, I don't think Armstrong would suit our team as he would have to work back and defend which isn't his strongest suit really. Didn't mention a big lump but I asking yourself you how we signed a main striker in our current system for example Would a Maja or Healey fit how we play currently? or would you change formation to bring in main striker in? We are currently 2nd top goalscorers in the league behind Fulham.
  24. lets see how he returned first.
