Anyway I'm setting off now so let's have a good winning performance full of passion and desire from the players today. Hopefully a sensible and balance team selection from Mowbray. Lets gets those 3 points. Come On You Blues!!! -

Mowbray isn't the worst manager we had in my lifetime of being a Season Ticket holder and we had 4 much worst managers then him and any manager in the Rovers dugout wouldn't stop me attending games at Ewood Park. Just the same with the players. As the saying goes, the name on the front of the shirt is more important than the name on the back of the shirt. -
Man City put on extra 50 coaches for the fans to travel down there, A work colleague of mine who is Liverpool season ticket holder drove down for the game leaving at 6am that morning

and that was probably one of the main reasons why the lack of supporters who went. Maybe drop that attitude and understand the current situation people are living in.

Attendances: A cause for concern

That's fine but we need to get children and people interested in the club from the local areas, get them attending games, etc That's why I asked the questions coaching sessions and days by the club to local football clubs, teams and schools as getting them interested in Rovers and given them some free merchandise. I remember my 4 days still now that Rovers came in to my school during the holidays and did 4 day coaching session. Yes You had to pay but I have never forget it and never will it was 27 years ago. -

Rovers have got today's match day prices all wrong again. Its should 15 pounds all areas for adults and get fans back today. Its a bank holiday and good day to attract fans in today with the correct pricing policy but charging 25 pounds plus is wrong again. Today should be ideal time to get people interested in coming to Ewood Park again. -
I'm talking your posts and predictions/inside info not others so lets get it right. Neil hasn't become Rovers manager. Mowbray didn't go to WBA as you said were "90" cert he would and you said you put 50 pounds on it happening.

Your centre backs are solid anymore and far too wide as you said. If you look at the team I picked where I selected players in their properly positions. That what we need to do today. -

But you aren't looking at this overall the season. Where I was. I have seen some excellent performances and wins this season -
I wouldn't normally travelled on train for away game but really go in the car myself.

I think the club need to much more effort in our back yard first and target the Ribble Valley, Hyndburn, etc first. Have the club during the 2 weeks holidays offer any coaching days, sessions to Schools, local football teams and clubs, etc? -
But we have tied a number of academy products like Buckley, Wharton, Travis tho. So the club have offered these academy players enough money to sign. Maybe Lenihan and Nyambe wants to move on from the club and try a number of club, area or whatever. Its their choice not to sign for us and move then fair enough, thanks for your effort, service to club and good luck in the future.

sorry to hear about the Covid. I agree with everything about how we are playing back 5 and reasons why its not woring. Buckley's impact in games has been zero cos of the role he is being asked to play. Both forwards are too wide. This is why I have been saying for weeks now we needed to change formation and go back 4 now. So would now be favour of dropping the back 5 formation and moving back 4-2-3-1? -

We haven't been playing possession based football this season and when we went through our winning/unbeaten run we would sit back and hit teams on the break but since New Year period teams have sit back against us and give us more possession of the ball and Mowbray hasn't had been able to come up with winning formula. This is one of the reasons I have been pushing for Mowbray and Rovers to move back to 4-2-3-1 pressing high, playing on the front foot. Is Alex Neil still on his way here? Its an excellent point you make about supporters who have season tickets that they have witness good form and plenty of wins. It would be interesting to see the figures of how many away games STH does each season. I have just a few this season but not be able to as many as I wanted for a number of different reasons sadly. -
Neil has had an impact there but they have top 6 squad for surely. You were pushing Neil for over 12 months to become Rovers manager but it never happened. Just like when you were telling us all that its 90% cert that Mowbray was going to WBA and you backed it at £50. Another one of your tip that never happened. Where on the forum did you tell us all about the Bruce WBA contract break clause? Everyone is entitled to their own view surely? Mowbray has done a decent job here but its rime for completed change of coaching staff and new guy in the Managerial seat with a playing squad capable of promotion.

Don't forget no trains to London this weekend. My explained the poor turn off.

When Dyche was sacked I thought you had a replacement line up but they haven't. Now 3 days later who would you like to see appoint and would you make an appointment for 7 games or long term Yes the chairman's interview was with Lancs Live and I read it today It appears that the new owners has been slowly taking away Dyche's overall control or recruitment and scouting, over the past year. I read today that your head physio had been sacked with Dyche and his entire coaching staff. Plus your Chief Scout Hodge and Technical director Rigg have both left the club over recent months. It was reported today(I provided a link this morning to this story) that Sacking Dyche will cost the club 15 million to pay his contract off and I wouldn't surprise if it went to court or their put on gardening leave for the next 12 months

Yes a lad of Tosh Mercer. Promotion should be the aim next season whoever the manager is. This squad is not good enough to sustain and maintain a promotion chase and run in. We need to improve the squad and bring in better manager/coaching staff plus new players. Rothwell has been awful for nearly 3 months. Nyambe I am not bothered losing at all. Replacing Brereton's goals is a must but a new manager can bring in a new striker to fill that. another one of your prediction that way wide of the mark. Just let your Alex Neil story who still hasn't joining, Allardyce and Rooney going to Burnley despite Rooney committing to Derby. The break clause in Bruce was reported last week in the media so no credit for posting that. What small fortune are you putting on it?

The State of Ewood Park!
chaddyrovers replied to A Northern Horde...'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I posted on this issue a few weeks back where I suggested that club conduct a survey of all season tickets and people who have bought a match ticket this season over the safe standing area and whether and what the demand would be for this. that's one of the biggest problem is where would you put a safe standing area. Dismissive attitude? I have said today that the Riverside stand shouldn't be left to rot but actually invest in and improve. So please explain what you are going on about thanks? -
Like I said earlier today this club needs a overhaul of the playing staff and coaching staff in we want promotion in the next 2 seasons which should be the aim. This squad isn't good enough as the last 2 seasons have proved. Appoint the right man and this can be achieve. Wrong with the comment that I believe every single rumour but I don't dismiss it like yourself you do I take it on board and listen and read to the poster who posted and what their track record on stuff like that. WBA didn't sacked Mowbray but he wanted by Celtic actually. Rothwell's father has no reasons to lie about this information and why he tell people about it. There is escape clause in Bruce's contract from both side of Bruce and the club after this season ends
