Mowbray should stay for the rest of the season and we should review his performance and whether he should get a new contract after the season has ended.

Mowbray and the players deserved huge credit for our league postion and results this season. We are performing in most games. Fulham game annoyed me and a lack of apology from anyone at the club was wrong. But since then they are improving and getting better. I think Mowbray need a smaller squad then his mind doesn't over think situations and can't make 4 or 5 changes each game. Plus the team spirit I think we have can take us to playoffs.

Its appears that Sheffield United hierarchy want to change their approach after an internal review into the club going forward. Look like they want to invest in youth and cut their spending massively after the spending massively over the last 4 years. Not really Heckingbottom is the right appointment but they seem to be backing him in terms of length of contract. He has already recalled 2 young players who was out on loan and will be available in January to play for hem after reading 2 articles in the Athletic, its appears that Jokanovic wasn't even on their original 5 man shortlist to replace Wilder. head coach of KV Oostende. Alexander Blessin, Lincoln City manager Michael Appleton and Paul Heckingbottom were 3 of their names on that shortlist. Jokanovic appointment there didn't suit their squad playing style or formation. So unless you were going to allow him time and back him with signings so he can play his favourite formation and style then why appoint him in the first place. The Sheffield united playing squad are used to playing 3-5-2 and Jokanovic's formation is 4-2-3-1 so straight anyway there is a problem.

Lenihan is our longest serving player actually Gav. These players have been offered new improved terms and not sign them. Talks have been ongoing for ages now.
