  1. Firstly, I would suggest you calm down. Secondly, He says we are working on 3 or 4 transfer deals not including Zeefulk deal. So lets wait and see what we spend and what deals we do. You woukdn't expect us to be spending Brereton size transfer fees but I hope for 1 or 2 permanent deals before the deadline with another loan deal plus Zeefulk loan to buy deal. Thirdly, Do you really Mowbray is going to come out and say we have money to spend? no you wouldn't. Mowbray will always keep his cards close to his chest. The club has to look after the finances in the short, medium an long term well being of the club, and I would expect nothing else. The training ground sale is on last season club accounts. Armstrong money will go towards the running of the club including some transfer fees, wages and meeting FFP rules. Who knows what will happens with Brereton this season
  2. Why is it a joke? Depends what Mowbray means by lavish spending. Plus need to sensible and wise with the permanent signings.
  3. Not really. Plenty of depth in our front options and defenders options. One more attacker and Zeefuik I have more than happy with our options. No reason to stockpile players. I think we need a centre midfielder in as priority as I don't want Johnson anywhere near this team.
  4. Mowbray having a smaller squad and with less options has gone us well. Can't tinker too much. I have no idea who we target for attacker position signing. I just hope it's someone who fits into our style and settle in quickly
  5. I don't know why we need 2 tho.
  6. So you want to 2 attacking signings? Where are they all going to fit in given we have already have Brereton, Gallagher, Khadra, Dolan..surely one enough.
  7. happy days about the Away games on Sky Was going to the WBA game if on a Saturday but now on Monday there is no chance I would go as most of the people I go with.
  8. Sharpe and Crooke seems to think we had interested. All he does well there
  9. I think it will be interesting to see if and who you sign before the deadline will tell you whether you will stay up or not. or whether they go down and bring in players ready for next season in Championship by signing 2, 3 or 4 players who fit the Championship. Also got to think about next season squad age
  10. Surely this depends who will sign in this window regardless of the money spent. We can sign a couple of players like Hedges and attacker who cost very little due to their contract being up in the summer. We might be looking in the foreign market for an attacker. We don't need to the club to comment as people can work it from the ckubs accounts, information already in the public domain and other clubs who have failed FFP rules.
  11. You can keep bringing the owners into this but given how much the club losing each season, I would think most of that money will go towards meeting FFP rules. BUT the truth we don't know what budget Mowbray has got to spend this window and he will keep his cards very close to his chest just like he always does. Did it last season with Pickering deal or few seasons ago with Brereton deal. Well we have to disagree on this. I will look to move him on. He isn't asset to the team anymore. I think we will bring in centre midfielder in before the deadline. Who or what style of midfielder we should I will leave to Mowbray and Rovers to decide. Well he has played 4 senior games, 3 in the EFL trophy and 1 in UEFA conference league. Not sure how good he is and whether he would fit our system and style.
  12. Rovers were interested in the summer in him
  13. I do. Not good enough. legs have gone. I wouldn't even put in him my match day squad most days
  14. Tony Mowbray was keen to steer away from talking about individuals but confirmed that a move is close for Hertha Berlin defender Deyovaisio Zeefuik. A period of isolation has held up a move for the Dutch right back who arrived in East Lancashire to finalise the deal last weekend. The 23-year-old is set to sign an initial loan deal, with the option for a permanent move in the summer, ahead of the weekend trip to Cardiff City, but isn’t expected to be part of the travelling party. Mowbray says three or four other deals are being worked on as Rovers look to add to their options in January.
  15. Don't know much about O'Riley apart from a few highlights on Youtube from MK Dons account. I think we should show Johnson the door.
  16. Why do Swansea need to raise funds? On Rovers being able to afford? Given the money we have received from Armstrong in the summer. Maybe we can afford it. Lets see how we get in. Maybe we are looking at different. Zeefulk signing came from nowhere.
  17. I don't think we are skint at all but I think we will sign at least 1 permanent signing if not 2 in this window. On the O'Riley link, it appears that Swansea are favourite to sign him and I guess thats down to Russell Martin knowing him
  18. I think you need 3 or 4 new signings in January to stay up. I think if you go down you will lose Pope, Mee, Taylor, McNeil, Cornet for sure. But it will give the manager a chance to revamp the squad and make it ready for the championship I heard him say this today, but I believe Dyche and Burnley haven't been looking for Wood replacement according to Alan Nixon. Who would you like to see replace him? Maybe Dykes from QPR or Nisbet from Hibs might be ideal Burnley need more than just one striker in January if not 2 now. Plus two other signings imo. on the squad next season if in the championship. I think alot depends whether Dyche is there. Plus they have a number of players out of contract like Mee, Rodriquez, Barnes, Vydra, Cork and Stephens with most of those aged 32 or plus. Surely they need to revamp their squad with younger playersyb
  19. Does Sharpe know this for sure? Who knows what Mowbray's budget is? I remember the summer when we signed Brereton that we werent meant to have much money then. Lets wait and see who we signed and what deal? has he has his 1st dose? We shouldn't be judging players on their vaccination stance or status. Also surely has a personal choice to make first. They might have been a medical reason why he hasn't been fully jab
