You really dont listen do you.

Bennett I said should contribute more considering the ability he showed in a league above, at a time when he hadnt scored for a year and barely got any assists. I never said I dont rate him. And I said I was really happy that he got 2 goals recently and hope he continues.

Antonsson when I complained about him was playing up front, and looked awful. It was at the start of the season, and Dack was sitting on the bench in the main at the time. He then found a new home on the wing and started contributing with crucial goals. Something you dont seem to understand the importance of.

People are going to moan if they feel like one of the players isnt giving 100%, and has underperformed for the club. Whilst typing this out, @blueboy3333 has shown Im not the only one to suggest they arent satisfied with Samuels application at the moment.

Your assertion that he "needs support not people moaning at it" is both idiotic and hypocritical in equal measure. We are discussing a striker who hasnt scored in over 3 months on an internet messageboard that he almost certainly doesnt read. When in the ground the players get supported. And you constantly criticized Graham for months, for what you considered to be laziness and underachievement. Where was your "support not people moaning at it" attitude then?

If you are going to critique me, at least understand what I actually said.

I did listen tho so stop telling me this cos its really boring now.

I was very happy with Bennett's performances all season.

I gave Antonsson a proper chance before writing him off like you like to do. Very happy with his Antonsson goals and give us a proper scoring option from Wide.

Graham need a massive kick up the bum as we all know what he can do. Now we have the proper Danny Graham finally

I dont know what Blueboy posted as I dont read his posts anymore and on my ignore list

It was a competition that the Under-23 lads had worked hard to get to a semi-final in.  So I suspect they did care when the senior players strolled around with the aim of getting fit.  As the next round - the final - isn't until August I'm not sure how that would impact on the fixtures over the next few weeks.

I seen before the under 23's played in previous games but Mowbray decided certain players need game time. I feel sorry for the under 23's players that played.

AllRoverAsia mention any cup competitions before. Mowbray has maintain promotion is the aim not winning a cup. We want promotion

It doesnt in any way justify what I and others have perceived to be a lack of work rate. Giving less than 100% will not help him gain any form.

He's not shown anywhere near enough to suggest that he can become a consistent League 1 threat, never mind Championship. I hope he proves me wrong.

    He lacking confidence massively.

Need support not people moaning at it. People like Bennett, Graham and Dack will help him through this.

I hope he prove you wrong just like Bennett did and others like Antonsson have.

    Para 1 - what??

Para 2 - competitive game time.....

No need to respond. I am off to chat with a brickwall.

    Firstly I will respond thanks

You are complaining about a game where we used it has a fitness exercise and 1st team players needed game time..

You need to chill out and relax. This season aim was promotion nothing more

We do NOT have any fixture pile up. None whatsoever.

He should have given youth a chance in this game so whatever the result was it would have no impact on the first team.

    How simple is that!

How does this game have any impact on first team?

We needed certain players to have some game time. Thats what Mowbray decide to do

    Complete BUNKUM.

That is what Mowbray turned it into as far as Rovers are concerned.

He shows no respect for any Cup competition.

He may as well have had them jog around Brockhall and save embarassing themselves in a competive match.

Well he just better get us promoted.

well I'm sorry but I couldn't give a toss about any cup competitions and this season sole aim was promotion.

would you rather we have a fixture pile up like Wigan who are facing 15 games in 60 days?

Five of these guys are Tony Mowbray's signings with one a Loanee but the two upfront are a major concern as they  aren't looking too clever.

what your obsession with slanging of Samuel and Nuttall now?

another target of your just like Nyambe. You clearly dislike/hate them cos who their agents are.

Last night game was a practice game at best and nothing more. It served a purpose and nothing more

How how did we lose that? I went to bed with England 200+ for 1 and loads of overs left.

    No idea.

Middle order collaspe cost us 50 to 60 runs..

Some of bowling wasnt good enough. Why didnt Woakes all of his overs?

    Not before time.

Birmingham's problems started when they sacked Rowett for Zola..

Looking at their squad is a fairly good and shouldbt be in bottom 3.

Just been official comfirm now Steve and his backroom staff have gone

"Steve’s contract, and those of the backroom staff – First Team Coach Paul Groves, First Team Coach Paul Williams, Goalkeeper Coach Kevin Hitchcock, Director of Football Jeff Vetere, David Álvarez (Head of Sports Science and Medical) and Albert Altarriba-Bartés (First Team Strength and Conditioning Coach) – have been terminated with immediate effect."

big clearout there. Look like a complete different structure being put in.

Then don't use VAR, use Hawkeye or something else.

use hawkeye for penalty calls how does that work then?

offside yes very possible but you cant keep stopping the game

I feel that fans in Germany and Italia don't want it involved in football, and with fans at Wembely booing each time the system was being used

  11. 22 minutes ago, K-Hod said:

Rules are rules, they aren’t down to interpretation. Offside is still offside, the goal line is still the goal line, if all the ball is over it, it’s a goal.

If it was applied as quickly as in other sports, it would work without upsetting the flow of the game. No messing.

the offside rule is more complicated than ever

Goal line decisions is nothing to do with VAR

Whether its a foul or not is not a Simple decision at all.

but the VAR isn't quick, suggest you look at how badly the systems are in Germany and Italy and how fed up fans are already. I did post a link to the Germany fans being fed up

  12. 5 hours ago, K-Hod said:

It definitely could work, it does in other sports, no reason football can’t be the same. It works in rugby, cricket and tennis well and efficiently. Said it before, but we could always just ring the president of the LTA and ask for the number for Hawkeye...

    Different sports.

Alot of football decisions are opinions based not fact

Ive always said it wont work in football.

  13. VAR experiment need to drop and forgotten about now. The system is farcical and yesterday game proved it..

The ref yesterday wasnt good enough and frieghten to actually proper decision.

Using VAR system is killing football and annoyed most fans.

Always said it wouldnt work in Footnall and so far I seen nothing to prove me wrong

You said his legs had gone and that we should sell him ASAP

    True.

    I was wrong.

Im pleased he proved me wrong

    3 hours ago, arbitro said:

But you criticised him for the same things people are critical of Samuel for. Double standards?

Not for me, different expectations for different players. If you disagree fair enough.

    2 hours ago, roversfan99 said:

It wasnt a direct comparison, stop taking it out of context. Just was saying that any positive physical attributes will always be counteracted by a poor work ethic, i dont feel when i watch him that hes working hard enough.

If he rated Samuel and had no doubts about him surely hed feature more than the occasional sub appearance.

Samuel has never proved in his career that he is a capable goalscorer (unlike Graham), we paid for promise and youth that as of yet hasnt looked likely to materialise into anything more.

Samuel has started 16 games out of 27 games he played him this season with 5 goals. Look more than occasional sub appearance doesnt it?

  15. 1 hour ago, arbitro said:

He never questioned Danny Grahams attitude or performances but you were highly critical of him saying pretty much the same things people are saying about Samuel. Mowbray very rarely criticises players publicly and that's how it should be.

If I remember correctly I was unhappy with Graham performances and work rate from an experience player. But I didnt compare him Best tho did I

  16. 54 minutes ago, roversfan99 said:

If he was convinced then hed be in the team. Self explanatory. Graham was out of form but managed to break back in, Armstrong has since been signed, and both are doing what Samuel has been unable to, and now barely plays.

I have made the judgement myself (shared by others) that his body language and work ethic is not that of a player desperate to earn his place back, hence me questioning his attitude.

Has Mowbray question Samuel about work rate or attitude or performances in the past 4 months?

  17. 3 hours ago, roversfan99 said:

I said that he has assets(pace and power) that are useful if applied correctly, I dont think Leon Best is useful because of his brain meaning that anything he does have going for him is rendered meaningless due to a lack of work rate and work ethic. If you think I am implying that Leon Best as a player is useful then you dont understand my point.

The only reason I even found that article is because im not the only one to question his work rate here, so the fact its a running theme makes it even more of a concern.

The 2 players you mentioned were geniuses, they had shown their ability in the past, it was just their temperament that needed keeping in check, the ability was never in question, sadly with Samuel even that is in doubt.

My point in regards to Mowbrays view, is that hes clearly not 100% convinced hence him falling down the pecking order.

How is Mowbray not convince then? He picked a team on performances and rightly Dack, Graham and Armstrong ahead based on form,.

Has Mowbray question his work rate or Attitude?
