  1. Don't understand peoples ambivolence to the 1875 club. Paid £10 received £5 club cash plus discounted prices, ie £3 off for matches for occasionally visiting daughters. £28.56 in kitty for use in the club shop.
  2. Perfect assessment, Mowbray had done perhaps more for the club off the pitch as on it. Today's first half performance baffling, must have made at least 4 tactical changes, which seemed to confuse us more tham Boro. Worryingly, the slump in form must be addressed , as a long drawn on out meander to the end of the season will have far=reaching consequences on retention and recruitment . Premier League? more chance of League one as it is panning out. January window was a necessity to add a little quality to the squad, however chasing targets who we could never afford, is amateurish at best.
  3. One of the best passages of play you could wish to see.
  4. 2018/9 Caraboa rule change, bookings now do not count for league games. At least a bit of good news
  5. Appreciate that, to some, the increase is problematic. However we cannot expect to continually have cheap tickets. Even Uncle Jack wanted us to be self sufficient as possible. John Williams effort to increase attendances in the short term was successful, but has left an unrealistic expectation of prices.
  6. "lack of atmosphere". Try going on and improving it. So many people using excuses, we will only achieve what's possible in the long run by the size of the club. Non attendance, waiting for the glory days to arrive; or Venky's departure is laughable.
  7. Charlton signed a centre half on loan from Arsenal, Bauer may now be on the move?
  8. Failing to find a positive after todays non-event. Baffling ineptitude or" Cunning Plan"
  9. The bar has been set today. Edwards and Harrison a handful. To sign players as good or better will be an achievement.
  10. Chapman scored for Boro, apparently playing well.
  11. Kyle Bartley from Swansea, is the WBA signing
  12. If I didn't preserve a sense of humour coming on this board, I'd have been swinging long ago.
  13. A deaf snooker player waitlng for a bus, springs to mind.
  14. No great lover of Coyle, but if Lambert was the "bees knees" and Coyle is as bad as people think, would Graham seriously have signed.I think this allied to the strength of the backroom staff, who were instrumental in suggesting Coyle's appointment, paints a more positive approach. Lambert said all the right things but achieved very little..
  15. Cheston referred to it in a statement on what type of manager they were after.Ideally they wanted somebody who would keep them in place.Presumably the four managers interviewed required their own back up team. The importance of Kelly and Irvine might not be as apparent to us as to those who work behind the scenes. However this in no way justifies Coyle's appointment, just a different slant on the reasoning.
  16. Excellent letter that encapsulates all our feelings. On the Coyle appointment, after all the supposed interviews had taken place,I think the requirement to facilitate keeping Irvine and Kelly was uppermost in the decision.
  17. Will the new positioning of the screen not act as a block.
